Holy Crap! I got a new job in San Francisco and I was moving in February, so I called them up to cancel in January. I just took a good look at my charges and discovered that they have been charging me every month. I got charged in February, March, April, May, June and July. That is $29.99 @ month, so I've been charged a total of $179.94 for a service I canceled and can not use. If they respond quickly to me here or the message I left through their website, I will give a better updated review. Makes me so angry, I can't sleep and it is now past 1 AM. OK update, they called me back and told me that they will refund me all charges for the last 6 months. How is their car wash facility? It usually work well, but not great. Sometimes they don't always scrub manually with those brushes and may have to go through a 2nd time. I wish all the bugs would come off but that may be asking too much. The vacuums have pretty good suction and having an air nozzle to blow out nooks and crannies is something nice that not all car washes have. read more

I went to Surf Thru Car Wash on 27th at roughly 09:00 on 8/22/26. I asked for the express carwash and handed the attendant a $50. He handed me the change. I made the mistake of not checking that my change was correct until I was in the car wash. He gave me change for a $20 instead of a $50. After the carwash I walked back up to get my correct change and the attendant immediately said "no you handed me a $20". I told him I was sure I handed him a $50 and he said "no, I remember you handed me a $20". He wouldn't even check the drawer to be sure. On my way home I called the carwash and there was no answer. I called again about 10 minutes later and a woman answered. I explained the situation and she responded with "yes, he checked the drawer and found the $50". So I drove back across town to collect my change. I intended to give them the $9 back and get a full refund for my trouble, but the woman came out, handed me $30 and said "there you go. Have a nice day." Not even an apology. I will not be back after this experience. read more

This place. It doesn't matter which one you go to, the people working at the entrance to the wash are terrible. They all just do the bare minimum and half ass it all. Just went thru because I didn't have time to go to the car wash that I like, and only one side of my car received the soap they were spraying. And now they don't even use the brush before you go in. The cashiers have all been great, but the rest of them stink. Go to Sud n Shine on 3rd street! Amazing service every time and they really clean your car before you even enter the wash. read more

Went to car wash around 12pm today, not too busy and the gentleman at the front was friendly. The exterior of my car came out nice and clean, however, not a single vacuum had power after my wash. I walked around to test the pressure. Super bummed! read more

I wish I had read the reviews. This place is a very misleading. They told me 'it's normally 22 for 1 car wash, but right now it's 22 for unlimited washes for 1 month.' It's said in a way implying you may get a card for a month or something. After they run the card they bring back the paperwork showing they signed you up for a 40 dollar a month recurring membership. I immediately said, oh forget it cancel it. That said they couldn't. I was informed that there was small print on the small (3x3) piece of paper I out my number and email on, so that's on me for missing that print. Not that it. Beware. Physically damaged my brand new 2023 Tundra and refused repair. First car wash for my brand new one week old 2023 tundra and it was significantly scratched right down to the metal by this car wash. I immediately alerted the local supervisor who assured me that it would be taken care of, and walked me through the process of filing the claim. He told me that they should be in touch with me within a couple days. One week later, after not hearing anything, I called them, only to find out that my claim had been denied, with little other information about the denial other than they stated that the damage was pre-existing. With no actual evidence to back up this claim. I will never use this car wash again, and will go out of my way to make sure that none of the people that I know do either. Surf thru manager and employee misrepresented the first month, $14.99 (they lied). I signed up for the basic package since I only wash my car twice a month (I told both of them this). After getting my receipt I looked at it and they charged me full price, $25.99 for the first month. When I asked them about this they said, "oh, it's only for certain packages. I said they and the sign in front are very misleading please cancel this right now. They told me to go to their website & cancel. I tried and it was not working. I asked for the manager & after going around with his poor customer service (emp 8936) he said he would cancel and credit me back. To this day, 10 days later, my card still has not been credited. The gentleman that was there that day agreed and took my report. He was very nice and apologized for the damage/ terrible wash. Went in on 12-16-2022 to get washed as vehicle really needed it. Paid and pulled up to the wash area and gave the attendant a $5 tip and asked to have my mirrors washed and get the back as the back always comes out dirty. They washed one mirror with the brush but not the other and skipped using the hand brushes on the back, like last time. And I think this is the last time we will go there. read more

When I left there were still a ton of bugs on the front of my car, dirt on the back, and the wheels were still really dirty (it was supposed to include wheels getting cleaned). I would not recommend this place to anyone. When they scrub your car before you go into the car wash they are too fast and not thorough. Next time I will go somewhere else. If you have a midsized truck or suv with large fender flares the right side of it will not be cleaned. It seems the sensors are not setup properly. The brushes will hit the wheel archers but will not readjust to move in toward the passenger doors. Only giving it 2 stars because the free vacuums work well. Go to the Shell station off on 3rd, locally owned and the kids they hire seems to actually take their time to pre wash and spray bugs and dirt before it goes through. Update- my wife went through today, the car was filthy when it came out and vacuums weren't even working. Not a single person willing to help or give an explanation/voucher/refund . She's currently hand washing her car in 35 degree weather. I called and the manager said we couldn't be refunded because the car went through the wash. I'm beyond mad and cannot stress this enough, DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS YOUR BUSINESS!!!!! There are plenty of locally owned car washes in the area that will take care of you. The front of my car always still has dirt, behind each tire still has dirt, the rear of my car always has dirt. And I'm buying the highest clean. I've had very great experiences every time I've gone, it's gotten my car absolutely beautiful and clean. But, last time I went I got the epic car wash, everything was normal as can be, but I get into the wash and it starts, me and my boyfriend hear a very loud thud on the roof of the car, we thought nothing of it at first. But, turns out the thud was the car was actually breaking my antenna. I understand if it was a long antenna on the hood of my car I would understand, but I have a Sonata and it broke the small antenna. This antenna is not big at all it's literally a small shark fin, and the broke it. I'm not happy with this car wash. They damaged cars and don't help to fix them. I do not recommend to anyone. I have in unlimited membership. For at least the last 10 washes, it's not really cleaning the truck very well. The fans that dry my truck only blow it off a little. As soon and the fans pass my drivers door the fans stop so the back half of my truck is still wet and soapy. Don't even get me started on the vacuums, they have absolutely no suction power at all. What happen to this place?? it's like the equipment if falling apart. Thinking of canceling my membership. And for the last 10 washes, they haven't had any dash wipes. So I used twice then cancelled it. 2 months later was still being charged and at a much higher rate!! ($79.98) Called 4 x each time reminding them of my Cancellation. Front end of the car is still covered in dirt and the mirrors look like they were never touched. Offered a free wash, but what's the point? PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES- I have only visited Bend and not lived there, so I have no need to have a monthly car wash card. I have purchased two separate packs for five car washes in the last year and have been billed for monthly car washes for the last 15 months! Had an issue where my monthly multi car pass card wasn't working, went back to get it resolved and the "manager" kid said that they were used, it was like the 5th of the month, I asked him what day they were used and how I could use 5 washes in 5 days, or better yet why? He just said they were used and I could pay. Submitted a complaint on the website, crickets, no response. Management here is not good, the kid employees do a good job though, but really the machine doesn't work that well. My go to car wash here in Bend! The location is great and the staff are wonderful. Out of all the car washes in Bend, Surf Thru gets my car the driest right out of the wash. I alsaccidentally locked my keys in my car and they helped me to open my door. I was absolutely amazed, I thought I was stranded. If you need a car wash you should absolutely go here!
