I first met Christina in September 2024 at a women's media conference where she was a vendor. She immediately exuded warmth, professionalism, and passion for her craft. I fell in love with her energy and her products right away, so much so that I knew instantly I wanted her to be a part of my big moment. Fast forward to my book launch: Christina welcomed me into her beautiful studio and created the most natural, luminous look that was exactly what I needed as someone who doesn't wear makeup regularly. She honored my desire to look like myself, just a little more polished and camera-ready, and absolutely delivered. She event kept my freckles shining through! I received so many compliments that night, not about the makeup, but about how glowing and confident I looked... and that's exactly what great makeup should do. Christina is the perfect blend of artist and pro - attentive, patient, and truly invested in making you feel your best. If you're looking for makeup that enhances you without masking who you are, Christina is the person to trust. I'm so grateful to her for helping me shine during such a special milestone. Highly, highly recommend.

Jen emailed me back within a day with all her details and information, and I was so excited. I shared photos with her, and she worked with me and my hair/skin concerns to get a look that I loved. I had my trial with her about two weeks before my wedding so we could also have a trial shoot with our photographer. I rarely wear makeup, and I was blown away by how good I looked and felt - like the best version of myself. The makeup also photographed wonderfully. Jen was so kind and funny, which made the getting ready process on the wedding day so much less stressful. My makeup also lasted through a hot day at City Hall, a windy outdoor photoshoot, and a dinner with dancing, somehow without creasing or running. Sorcery!!! Thank you, Jen!!

Once I arrived and met her in person, it was as if we had met before - she is approachable, friendly, and makes you feel like an old friend. Now onto the actual hair and makeup - her talent far exceeded my expectations! I gave her a general idea of what I was going for and she was able to quickly run with it and when she showed me the finished product at the end, I was so thrilled. I love the way it looked both in person and the way it photographed (pictures attached). I would highly recommend booking JT artistry for your hair and makeup needs! I didn't want to wash my face or undo my hair after the photoshoot because it looked so good, haha!

I cannot recommend Kary enough!! She was truly such a wonderful part of my wedding day, and I am so…read moreincredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to work with her for such a special occasion. First of all, I absolutely LOVED the ponytail she did for me! Several of my vendors mentioned how many brides choose ponytails but how difficult they can actually be to execute well, and Kary absolutely nailed it. What makes it even more special is that the hairstyle I ended up wearing was completely different from what we had originally discussed during my hair trial. When she started working on my hair on the wedding day, I decided on a whim that I wanted to change things up, and she was incredibly supportive and accommodating. She never made me feel bad about changing my mind and instead embraced the new idea and made it look absolutely beautiful! I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Honestly, Kary was so much more than a hair and makeup artist on my wedding day. She was practically a bridesmaid bridal secretary, and personal fairy godmother all rolled into one! My wedding was quite large, with so many moving parts, little details, and things happening all at once. Kary worked so hard throughout the day, and several of my other vendors specifically commented on how incredibly helpful she was and how grateful they were to have her there. She was always willing to step in, help wherever she could, and make sure things kept moving along. Having someone so talented, capable, and genuinely invested in making the day go smoothly was invaluable. She went so far beyond what I ever expected, and I honestly don't know how I could thank her enough. I am also especially grateful for how she helped my bridesmaids that morning. They weren't happy with the hairstyles they had originally received from the assistant artist, and Kary took the time to help fix their hair and make sure they felt beautiful and confident, too. Both of them told me afterward how much they loved her work and how impressed they were with her hairstyling skills. As a bride, it meant so much to me that she cared not only about making me happy but also about making sure the people I love felt their best. That kind of thoughtfulness and generosity really says a lot about who she is. Another thing I really appreciated was that we actually got to work with Kary three separate times: for my hair trial, our engagement photoshoot, and our wedding day! She also helped with touch-ups for my groom. Each time, I felt like her work got better and better, and it was so lovely getting to know her throughout the process. By the time our wedding day arrived, I felt so comfortable with her and trusted her completely, even when I decided to change my hairstyle at the last minute. She is incredibly talented, adaptable, and attentive, and I think that trust made the entire experience even more special. I also absolutely loved that Kary took behind-the-scenes pictures and videos throughout the day! Weddings go by SO quickly, and so much of the day feels like a complete blur when you're the bride. Having those extra little moments captured was such a thoughtful bonus and gave us another way to remember everything that happened behind the scenes. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our experience and wanted us to have wonderful memories of the day, not just beautiful hair and makeup. Kary is incredibly talented, hardworking, kind, and professional, and I genuinely had such a wonderful experience working with her. Wedding days can be overwhelming, and having someone who is not only amazing at what they do but also willing to go the extra mile to help wherever needed is truly invaluable. She helped make me feel beautiful, supported my last-minute ideas, looked out for my bridesmaids, helped my groom, and contributed so much more to our wedding day than I could have ever anticipated. Kary, THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH for everything you did for me, David, our wedding party, and our special day!! I really hope you had some fun, too, and got to enjoy the boba and treats we had for everyone! We also had bunnies at our wedding, and I hope you enjoyed getting to meet our little furry guests. I only wish there had been more time for you to take pictures with them and spend a little longer with them! I am genuinely so happy that we found Kary, and if I ever have another special event in the future, I would absolutely love to work with her again for hair and makeup! If you're looking for someone who is talented, dependable, flexible, thoughtful, and willing to go above and beyond, I wholeheartedly recommend her. You aren't just hiring a hair and makeup artist; you're getting someone who will genuinely care about you and your day and do everything she can to make it special. Anyone who gets to work with Kary is incredibly lucky, and I cannot thank her enough for being such a wonderful part of one of the most important days of our lives!!

Her work on my hair was also impressive - I wanted my hair half up/half down but was worried that the high winds at our ceremony site might ruin it. It turned out to be perfectly fine though, and my curls lasted throughout the entire night. As some other reviewers have mentioned, her husband helps with communications and bookings, and finalizing things with him may take a few tries. Luckily I found working with him to be fine, particularly when I switched over to texts for smaller inquiries, and as long as I was careful to double check details. The assistant she brings with her varies and some seem to be better than others (assistant for my friend's wedding was good, while the one for my wedding seemed to be less proficient at doing hair). However, Kary will step in and provide assistance / guidance where needed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience with Kary. She goes above and beyond for a HMUA; she'll even help with your dress for portraits and does constant touch ups until she leaves. She's so so so great that I promise you just need to book her, you won't regret it!

She's so warm, personable, and genuinely cares about her clients. During my bridal trial, I was amazed by how meticulous she is.
