I usually do my own maintenance on my bike, but when it's something I have…read moreno experience with, or requires special tools, it's best to leave it to the experts. Fortunately we have just the ticket here in Yucaipa . I bought a low mileage Vulcan 900 that the previous owner had ridden in the rain mostly . The forks were leaking oil so I took them to Ted's Garage to get the seals replaced. Since the previous owner did not have boots on the forks they had tiny rust pits . New fork sliders are expensive, but Ted said they would see what they could do. His tech buffed out the pits and installed new seals . It's been a year and over 5,000 miles of riding and no leaks. I'd say they did an excellent job . If and when the time comes I will be going to them for replacement or any job that requires expertise .
