As the website describes: a 14-acre landscape where you can experience the great circle of life while traveling through 18 unique sculptures and pieces of art. Inspired by several gardens in Europe, the installations symbolize the journey from birth to death and beyond. So cool, don't mis this if you're in the area. (literally next door to the Harpoon Brewery)

When they dropped us off, we…read morewere told that it would be best if we walked out a ways to the second cove in order to get the best current out into the water. We did that, with our cooler raft in tow. However, i ended up pushing my nephews in their tubes for about a half mile (past the second cove) before we were able to get going. This took about an hour and a half. About 3/4 the way through our time on the water, we heard thunder. I realized they hadn't covered what to do in the case of bad weather in the briefing. So thankfully I was able to call the company from my tube & they advised us to get out of the water if we heard thunder & wait 15 min before getting back in. We heard thunder in and off for about 45 min so stayed out of the water on some rocks while we waited. I felt like we were bothering the company when they called & they didn't seem at all concerned, telling me it was a passing shower. After we returned to the water, we saw some lightening so I tried getting us over to shore. The water was getting choppy & we weren't going anywhere so I got out of my tube & pulled all of us to shore. We built a small shelter using our tubes & tried to stay dry but at this point, it was pouring. I called the company again & they said there was nothing they could do & couldn't come pick us up based on our location. I checked my GPS & we were .6 miles away from our stopping location. The company told us to start walking back along the shore. We did that and along the way my nephew slipped on the rocks because it was still pouring. Finally, when we made it back, we had to drag all the gear up the hill (which was mentioned during the briefing but we weren't expecting to do this in the pouring rain. When we got back, I expressed my disappointment that they'd send anyone out with conditions like that expected as I truly felt our lives were in danger. The woman said no one was blaming anyone and I corrected her. Yes, I blame the company for putting our lives in danger. She explained that they had no idea about the weather conditions and that this system just popped up out of nowhere. I can understand that but at no point did anyone offer to come & help us. They could have easily walked from where they were & helped us walk back. I would not recommend this company due to the lack of safety measures & how isolated we felt when conditions got bad.

Bad exp w/ store supervisor (NEVIN) on Jan 16 (Sun) at approx. 3:34-4pm at the Killington Sports…read moreRetail Store located at base of Snowshed area. Most memorable was the fact that he threatened to have me removed from the store&accused the customer of trying to damage merch. THIS MAN IS INSANE. For clarification,Nevin is the only Store Supervisor;said he had no bosses/other people that he answered to or was supervised by.White/ Caucasian man w/tattoos at the lower base of neck.Pudgy overweight statue, approx.5'4"-5'8", reddish- brown hair (ginger),&Bulgy Blue eyes. - I went to the store intending to try on some goggles for purchase, scanned the selection & noticed him standing close by.I asked him if he worked here&he said he "sort of worked there."He said he remembered me bc I "took like 2 hrs just to buy a helmet hood the other day."The annoyed & exasperated tone of his voice was weird-you would think that a supervisor/employee would appreciate customers giving their money to the store.I got the impression that Nevin was angry that he had to even deal with customers-that they didn't just dump their money in the store & leave.Asking his assistance was like pulling teeth,so I ended up selecting 2 goggles from the stand while he watched.I was trying on both sets of goggles when I heard him say "Christ, how stupid are you, don't leave the goggles lying on facedown on the glass table."Definitely nasty & antagonistic about it.Nevin kept going on about how the goggles were so expensive&that I kept slamming them face down on the glass table even tho he repeatedly asked me not to do so. I didn't do that&he never said anything.I said I wasn't trying to damage the merchandise& he shouldn't accuse me of doing so;I was trying both goggles with the intention of buying them; obviously knew now how expensive lenses were &how to care for them.I said they had probably tipped over after I placed them on the table. He disagreed w/ this & we went back&forth arguing. Our voices were rising&there were other customers in the store. He kept stating variations of how stupid I was, I said we all work in customer service & he had a really shitty attitude;that yelling at me in public was terrible.I said that if perfect placement on the tbl was so important then he should have put a cloth on the glass counter bc there's a billion other customers who try on these goggles. At this point, he grabbed the goggles out of my hand&said: "Ok, that's it. You're done here-I want you to leave-get out of here now"-He kept yelling like I was some sort of dumb animal.Dumbfounded,I turn to Jarek (fellow employee from Krakow,Poland)who had overheard the whole thing while it was escalating & I asked him what the other guy's name was.Jarek obviously didn't want to take sides & said it was a whole "he said she said '' incident. He asked me what I wanted to do& I said I wanted to speak to (Nevin's) manager.Jarek said Nevin didn't have one. At this point,I walked over to the cashier where Nevin was ringing up other customers.I saw an older white woman there w/ a name tag (Lynn?).I asked her who Nevin's manager was. She also said that Nevin didn't have one.I asked Nevin who I should speak to about reporting the way he treated me-he said I could email Killington&they would reprimand him "if that's what I wanted."I turned to leave &said that he shouldn't treat customers like that--cursing at them&accusing them of damaging merchandise--that it wasn't right& that he had a terrible attitude.I said he was singling me out &that he shouldn't treat people like that. At this point, he left the register & asked me to come to the side so I could "speak my piece." We moved aside while 'Lynn' took the rest of the cx.We stood facing each other while I tried to get the name of higherups--he refused to name any.I reiterated that he shouldn't treat customers like that (he told me that he wanted me to leave the store or he would call security).I ended up walking out of the store bc I needed to catch my bus.I was very outwardly calm during the whole incident but was internally upset and angered by this unwarranted treatment.Nevin is obviously a frustrated individual who hates his life&his job, but it doesn't excuse accusing/berating anyone else, much less a customer in your store. The fact that he has no other people to answer to & he has no problem stating that leaves his attitude seriously unchecked.Apparently he feels like he can accuse, threaten, curse at,&insult people in his vicinity just bc he can--bc he knows/thinks he can get away w/ it & no one will be able to do anything about it. I've been a happy&loyal customer of Killy& all of its services (retail, lift, restaurant. etc.) for years across both seasons &never any bad experiences UNTIL THAT DAY. I would hope that you discipline Nevin appropriately (namely for being an unwarranted a-hole to a loyal customer), or perhaps, give him a release from the job that he hates so much.
