I was looking for someone to restore the tune to my Black Crowes and no one was really getting them back to their original perfection, until I came here. There's some serious craft to ski tuning and these guys get it. Best ever!! read more

While visiting from New York on a particularly cold week in January, I decided to stop in and get a pair of mittens. Kelly was incredibly helpful and kind to me answering many of my questions and giving me excellent advice. They had a great selection and were able to keep my hands warm in the -10° temperatures. I also picked up some thermals as well because they were so kind. Family own business definitely recommend giving them your support. read more

Got some great stuff at the shop , even if you don't ski there will be something for you . Busy place , I got a few things and I'm happy I got to experience this read more

We walked in inquiring and intending to buy ski boots and were greeted with judgement and something else that resembled hostility towards our ski experience and boot budget. The older sales associate was quite rude when we asked for boots that would fit our preference and was insulted when we asked how much it was. I don't think he remembers that there are quite a few other ski shops in the area. We left and felt more comfortable and welcome at another shop. read more

Solid ski shop with plenty of choice. Staff here has a wide variety of skis to choose from with knowledge about what they're selling. They managed to fit me on demos even after I mixed up my dates which was much appreciated. I'll definitely be coming back to get my skis tuned! Try to catch them outside the morning and evening rush hours! read more

Among the finest ski shops I've visited. This place caters to racers at the next door Killington Mountain School and specializes in that exact strain of cutting edge equipment. Best tune up for a pair of skis you can find, top of the line gear exclusively. If you're a type III skier, you will be astounded by their selection. read more

Just near perfect service here. Have been going there for three years. Personal, polite, knowlegeable, trustworthy! Recommended! read more

I skied in a pair of boots I had not used the previous season and after day 3 realized my shell had cracked and my foot was bleeding and I was in a tremendous amount of pain. Went in to look at boots at this shop and a boot tech helped me into a new pair of Nordica Speed Machine 130's. He spent at least an hour fitting me that day and probably a total of another hour over the course of the next week or two tweaking them to fit me just perfectly. Super knowlegeable staff and the customer service is outstanding. This season I'm getting their 10 package tune up special. Looking forward to skiing on freshly tuned boards every other week. 5 star review for sure!!!!! read more

Tremendously friendly, overly helpful and a joy to do business with. They went out of their way to provide us with information about the mountain, places to eat and drink while in Killington and tips for getting the most out of the ski equipment. Thanks for a great rental experience! read more

Very nice and competent staff. They were very nice when I called to ask about demo ski rentals, and everything was available when we arrived to pick up our skis. The return process was also very, very easy. I would certainly go back next time we need a ski rental. Super close to Killington, which made things easier, too. read more

Just received my new race skis from Peak Performance! Very pleased at how fast they got them prepped, mounted, and shipped. Excellent service! I grew up skiing in the northeast, and haven't skied race skis in several decades - but my skiing style hasn't changed, so I've finally treated myself to a pair of modern slalom skis. Looked online for someone to get them from, and Peak Performance stood out. Very happy! read more

Peak Performance Ski Shop - Awesome new boards from Peak Performance! - Ski & Snowboard Shops Near Me - Killington, Vermont

Awesome shop. We (4 adults & 2 kids) all rented our skis from them for a week in Killington. Online booking is very simple (no credit card info needed), and the staff is very helpful and efficient in getting you what you need, and the price is much better than renting at Killington resort. During the week, 2 of us had some issues with our boots and came back to replace them on different days. Both of us were in and out with a new pair of boots within a few minutes. My husband really liked the skis he rented (performance grade) and made skiing in various conditions due to changing weather very enjoyable. Everyone there is super friendly (maybe except for one young gentleman). And the waxing machine is amazing. This is definitely our place for skiing in Killington. read more

We were waiting for service at Basin ski shop next door for so long I realized they didn't want my business- so we went right next door to Peak Performance- good move. We got served right away, the staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the equipment was good. Oh, plus the price was lower. Would definitely recommend these guys if renting equipment for Killington. read more

Best ski racing shop in the East. No one else is as knowledgeable and helpful in the ski racing industry. I always go to Peak for my ski racing needs read more

The Killington access road is flooded with ski shops.... literally flooded. Shop hopping becomes very mundane and everything starts to blend into one... This shop definately stands out simply because of its people. The guys who work here really know their stuff and are more than willing to explain things to the minor detail... with that said ! This shop does not have a great selection of clothing or skiis... Their focus is on the lifetime guarantee of all of the boots they sell... and the service they render to fix/amend your ski performance. So! Come here for the boots - which they will tailor to your foot- even if that means chipping and grinding away at the boot itself - and guaranteeing it for life. And ...come here for the service department- they will fix / tailor every nook of your ski performance that you find troublesome. read more

Andrew is my favorite person in the world right now. We went there with my wife's new Fischer vacuum boots she was having issues with. After a hour she had to get out of here boots. Not purchased here was our first mistake. After a few questions we went for new custom footbeds. Ding ding ding. She now can ski all day!! Thank you guys so much for all your help and time. These guys Know. What. They. Are. Talking. About. Not only are they knowledgeable but super friendly and bc the weather was going to suck one of the days, they let us rent for 4 days and only charged us for 3. The equipment was great. The fitting, renting and return process was seamless and quick. Thanks Yelpers for steering us in their direction. Will come again. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Trustworthy people, very informative, always willing to help. Good selection of equipment for sale and they have good rentals. I just randomly stopped in here to have skis mounted and I was very happy that I did. Every time i go to killington I will always stop in first before hitting the slopes read more

So we came to peak performance on a ski trip to Killington because someone had one of their bags left back in NJ. So they needed some pants and a Jacket only, thank god. When shopping around we came to peak performance second. My friend who we were shopping for is a small dude. He can fit in an XL kid's cloths. So we told the sales person helping us that if they had some kids stuff we could try that too, he responded to another guy who we were with, who drove us, to the shop that he might but at least he's not as fat as this guy because he wouldn't have anything to fit him. The three of us were appalled, like the guy is a big guy, but it's straight up disrespectful to say that. I don't care if he was joking or not, it's not funny. I gave my friend a hug, talk to the guy who was looking to buy stuff and we decided that we wouldn't be giving this place any of our money. Hit up the place with the clock tower and they gave us a better deal and had some respect. read more

A great shop with great customer service. Cost a little under $30 for a one day ski, boot, and pole rental. The people who worked there were funny and very helpful and I'd definitely go back when I'm in the area. read more

The service at this ski shop was so amazing! Went in to get my poles adjusted & received a smaller pair that fit me perfectly on the house! Highly recommend this place for all things ski/snowboard related! read more

Good small shop with knowledgeable staff who are passionate about skiing. They have a somewhat limited selection but they know the products they offer. Fair warning; check the prices at other shops on the access road before purchasing. Most shops on the access road price their equipment fairly, but Peak Performance can be substantially more expensive. I did ask them about this and their response was "We sell at the manufacturer's minimum allowed sale price; all the other shops are breaking the manufacturer minimum sale price". One or two breaking manufacture policy I could believe, but all including large very public retailers? Maybe Peak Performance thinks everyone who skis is made of money and doesn't care. read more

Skip all those other shops that clog the Access Road and come here! Peak has absolutely the best service anywhere. They carry a smaller selection of clothing and accessories, but they focus on performance. The staff is absolutely amazing. They are knowledgeable and helpful, and their ski and boot service can't be beat. The rental process is fast and easy, the rental equipment is GOOD, and the owners, Fred and Denise are the nicest people you could hope to meet. read more

Yes, Peak Performance is as good as it gets! I have been shopping, buying, getting fitted and recommending Peak since the mid 90's. Everyone on the team is very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. Whether it be a boot tweak for comfort, foot beds and liners for performance, appropriate ski type and length for specific or various conditions, or some rad piece of clothing, Peak is a true one-stop shopping experience for passionate skiers of any ability. read more

I ordered a pair of Head slalom skis from Peak Performance, and I couldn't be happier! They called me the day after I ordered the skis to confirm the binding settings I required and notified me that the edges on the skis did not come tuned, something that I was unaware of. They took care of the edges for me as well, and I received the within just a few days of placing my order. Thanks so much! read more

Wish I had drove up last summer to Peak Performance, Killington, VT from DC to get my ski boots and equipment. Dave and Andrew are EXPERTS at fitting boots and my feet are not easy. Instead i bought them locally and it didn't work out well. I lost a day of skiing. Thanks to their help, I was able to ski again. These guys are so generous with their time and attention. They are not on commission and aren't aggressive sales people. read more

My friends and I have been going to Peak Performance for years- they are always SO helpful and nice. We especially love Fred and Dave and of course Sadie!! See you next year :) read more

TERRIBLE!!! I waited and waited for service...but the ski rental personal (at least 5 of them) were to busy talking to their friends rather then serving customers. The rental staff totally ignored our group...I guess they may have wanted to leave work early. I have been introducing people to skiing for years and have used many rentals establishments, this was the worst experience that I ever had. Fortunately they are several other places to rent skiis in Killington. read more

I've just had a great experience buying new skis at Peak Performance... The staff.. all of them, were very helpful and knowledgeable about the type of skis I was looking for and were able to compare the new skis to what I was presently using. Hands down the best ski shop in Vermont. If you want expert staff, friendly service, and top quality products, you can't go anywhere else. I've never rented from them but Bootfitting and tuning are two services in particular that I've benefitted from. They also have excellent gear and the staff is more than happy to spend time with you talking about what is the best option for you. Each staff member has a specialty and they're more than happy to share their knowledge. If you want top quality service and great products, stop by Peak. I can't recommend it enough! read more

We had a great experience renting skis at Peak Performance. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the process for check in and return is fast. They gave us Solomon boots and Fisher skis that seemed new for the season and were comfortable and worked well. They have good prices, offer a discount for online reservations, and we paid $75 for 4 days for boots, poles, and skis. Definitely THE place to rent at Killington. read more

I ordered boots online from Peak Performance. I had ordered last years model of a boot to save a few bucks. They actually shipped me the current model year and did not charge me extra. Thanks, Dave , he is helping me and my wife to find right skis and some valuable suggestions for beginners and very good deal for rent.

I was looking for a used pair of skis to use for teaching at my local hill. I found a pair of the skis I wanted at Peak Performance via an online search. The skis appeared to be in excellent shape and they were priced to sell. I had never dealt with Peak Performance previously but after buying these skis from them I would go see these guys again in a heartbeat. I emailed back and forth with Mary a few times asking her questions about the skis and she was prompt, very professional and so nice. Mary took down all my specs and had the shop adjust the bindings to my specs. They also shipped them to me for free. The skis were in excellent shape, freshly tuned up and ready to go. I love, love, love these skis. They are exactly what I wanted when I'm teaching and when I get to free ski I wouldn't want any other ski attached to my feet. I love these skis and wouldn't have wanted to have bought them from anyone else. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to seek these guys out for any of my future ski needs. Thank you Peak Performance for selling me a fantastic pair of skis and for being so awesome. You guys rock!!! read more

Great spot, they have you in & out quickly, and the fit & quality of gear is excellent. Everyone was super friendly. Will be back!

Peak's specialty is alpine racing equipment, but they are very knowledgeable about all skiing. I've bought a number of alpine skis and my current boots from them (I'm not a racer). Boot fitter is a zen master and I've used my current boots for going on 100 days without any issues. Also known for doing excellent tunings. If you need 3 degree racing edges done right, this is where you go. My top shop in Killington. read more
