After an hour the repairman said it was the compressor and he didn't have the part and it would be $300 when he came back on Monday. So today he showed up, spent another hour, said he had fixed it and left. I told him the fan in the freezer was too loud but he said that was normal. Shortly after that the same problem was occurring. The fan in the freezer compartment sounds like a lawn mower and the refrigerator compartment is not cold. I called the company and they just argued with me and said the best they could do is send someone again tomorrow. At that point I called Andy Kao and left a message on his voicemail begging for help. Within an hour he called me back and was able to diagnose the problem on the phone. He was on his way home but he came over to my house instead. Within a few minutes he had fixed the problem which turned out to be a loose fan. I was getting desperate as I'm due to have surgery on Wednesday and couldn't deal with this mess, and no food! After reading the instructions in the manual and looking at You Tube videos, I thought it would be an easy job. I spent the next two days trying to remove the bolt that secures the blade. No dice; it wouldn't budge. Different wrenches & sockets didn't help, and the bolt became rounded. Various sprays didn't help, either. All I got was cut & scraped hands, along with a backache....and my back is 72 years old. The EGO "Help" center wasn't useful either; they suggested I read the manual or drive 70 miles away to a repair center. The place where I purchased the mower (Ace Hardware) doesn't do repairs, even though their website says "Appliance Repair." Lowe's sells EGO products but they don't do service or repairs. Luckily, I found Bob's Garden Equipment a few miles from me. I brought the mower to them with the new blade I purchased at Lowe's & a technician removed the bolt in 2 seconds with a power tool. He also replaced the blade & secured it with the rounded bolt. And no charge. Such service and integrity are quite uncommon these days.

Gal is a very friendly, but also very professional person. From the initial appointment to survey the scope of work, guiding us through the planning phase, coordinating with the utility's construction inspector, bringing in his partner for digging the trench, and the final inspection with the city, Gal was very detailed, worked wonderfully with all the parties involved, was always exactly on time, and the quality of work is impeccable. It was a true pleasure to work with him. While the project wasn't cheap, it was still less expensive than we expected, and the quality and timeliness of the work were very much worth it.
