Unbelievable fantastic service from start to finish! Gabriel is practically a miracle worker! Came and assessed problem with an older dryer. Found the part and was back two days later to get it running. Also above and beyond call of duty by cleaning lint exhausted and cleaned up surrounding area. Can't rave enough. Would never call anyone else. Great value/price as well. Thank you read more

The finishing details and clean-up are what separated a 5* review to a 4. Technician cleaned the pumping system on the dishwasher, and it seemed to be working fine. A couple of days later it failed again and had to call them back. No problem, normal course of action in my opinion. It seemed to be working when he was here so no need to change the pump if not truly needed. Came back today and changed the pump, no it all works fantastic. The finishing details is what I would recommend they pay attention to in the future, and for other customers to pay attention to. The extended sink nozzle wouldn't come out anymore after the first visit, it was now wrapped around the dishwasher drain line after he reassembled it. Also, the dishwasher was mounted too far forward, so the silverware drawer would hit it. Lastly, the clean-up. He left and I have a pile of stuff from under the sink over to the side, a bucket full of dirty water sitting there, a pile of towels thrown in the corner of the kitchen, and floormats piled up in the other corner. That's now how it looked when you showed up. If you pull the things from under the sink, move the mats, and I give you towels and a bucket it should all be turned back to me in the same condition/state. That being said, I would use them again for future repairs. read more

I strongly recommend anyone looking for help with appliance assistance/repair call Appliance Helper first. I had the extreme good fortune of finding this business and speaking with Gabriele on Christmas Eve after my elderly mom's stove ignitor quit working but wouldn't stop clicking. Gabriele spent a not insignificant amount of time on our call helping me understand and trouble shoot the issue, assured me of my moms safety, and even recommended waiting a couple of days as it was likely just a wet ignitor. This ultimately was exactly the cause. He did this all from the phone, without charge, on CHRISTMAS EVE! I didn't end up needing Gabriele's in person help on this occasion but he will be my first call for any future needs. read more

Won't fix secondhand refrigerators. Wouldn't take my business to fix my somewhat slow functioning icemaker due to my otherwise perfectly beautiful & functional french door refrigerator being bought secondhand from an trusted appliance dealer my family has dealt with for decades. (Love this fridge btw & aside from the icemaker blip, it's seriously the best fridge I've ever owned!) Of course, this is absolutely this business's preogative and I'm def not upset. The guy on the phone was not rude or disrespectful either. I'm just providing my experience in case someone here has a used refrigerator needing repairs and I can save them some time. Anyways, I'm moving on to find somebody who will be willing to run out here and help me. :-) read more

Gabriel went above and beyond to help my 84yo mother. He drove from Glendale to Simi Valley within an hour of calling him. Her refrigerator stopped working and she was worried she would lose all her food. He found out that the workers that had been there earlier in the day had accidentally flipped the breaker switch to the fridge!! He sent me a picture to show me and called with my mom there to explain what had happened!! What a lifesaver for me!! Highly recommend Gabriel. He took good care of her. read more

I received great service from Gabriel. I called to ask about an issue I was experiencing with my gas powered stove. I don't have a lot of technical knowledge about stoves and I could've been easily duped into being charged lots of money. Instead of rushing over and looking to charge me a lot of money, he explained the likely reason for the issue and said I could call back in a couple days if the issue persists. Which I definitely will if the issue isn't resolved since this guy seems like a class act. read more

I'm so happy that I found Gabriel with Appliances Helper on Yelp. In the mist of baking a 91st birthday cake my oven stopped working. Found such positive reviews on Yelp so gave a call. Gabriel responded so quickly to me. From the start he was so caring. With others that I called they were all too busy and couldn't come out til the next day, but Gabriel heard about the birthday cake and came out to assist that day. Gabriel was even nicer in person. He was able to fix the oven (had the part needed with him). Gabriel made sure the oven worked properly before he left. Today it's so hard to trust and find knowledgeable specialists. Gabriel's prices were very fair and most of all a genuine caring individual! Thank you so much Gabriel!!! read more
