I've used Maria & Elena to clean my house twice now and am super happy. I had been trying t find a cleaning service for a while and nobody called me back or followed through except Maria & Elena. I filled out the profile on Service Magic on a Saturday night and received a call from Elena the next day, Sunday. I assumed we needed to set something up during the week but she said she could come over that afternoon, which worked perfectly for me. She came over, we did a walk through, I explained what I wanted done and what I didn't. We sat down, had some tea and chatted. I liked that they are a family owned an operated company (sisters) who seem to be morally sound and ethical. She gave me a quote for the initial "deep cleaning" and follow up cleanings. My house is a 2-story 2.5 bath, 2 bdrm townhouse which I keep pretty clean but want a thorough cleaning once per month. It was $120 for the first cleaning and is $100 for each monthly cleaning after that, which I think is very reasonable. The first cleaning they did a great job - they did the blinds, the floors, changed the sheets, and even cleaned inside the microwave and toaster oven (which my husband uses everyday and doesn't clean and I now refuse to clean it, so it was kind of a mess). I couldn't wait for them to come again, and they did just as good of a job the second time. There were a couple things they didn't do the first time (i.e. clean the ceiling fan blades and light) that Elena said they would, but I just let her know and she was apologetic and they did it the second time, no big deal. I'm sorry that the two other people had a bad experience but I am very happy and thin it's worth them giving Maria & Elena another change. It's so worth having a cleaning service once or twice a month if you value your time and don't want to spend your precious and few days off cleaning! read more

Elena and her crew did an amazing job. Elena met with me to do a walk thgourgh to discuss what would be done for the "whole house cleaning" as my house needed a thorough belated spring cleaning. Elena was clear about all that would be done and we discussed any special needs such as my Pergo floors and special counter-tops. I was amazed when I came home. My house was immaculate. The windows that had sticky residue from my pool were spotless. The house smelled clean and fresh. The few items that were missed were easily corrected with a simple e-mail. Elena came out within a day and finished everything. They even fixed a screen door that was wonky. What a treat to come home to. I will continue using Sure Plus for my monthly cleaning. read more

It was tough trying to get someone up to my neck of the woods in Morgan Hill to do a "move-out" cleaning. Luckily, Elena was able to help us out. The team did a great job. In three hours, three people cleaned a 3000 sq. foot home. I asked them to focus on the bathrooms, windows, and countertops. In addition to what I asked, they also mopped the floors, cleaned all the light fixtures, and dusted every corner of the house. That house was cleaner than when I moved in. Sure Plus Cleaning Group: www.getcleaningtoday.com is absolutely top notch. I called to arrange an estimate to clean our recently sold house. General cleaning (walls, cabinets, shelves, bathroom, stove, fridge, garage, windows, carpets, etc.). First, they pick up the phone call right away and then came by the house the same day to give me a quote. Their pricing was ~20% less than other services I received quotes from. We arranged a cleaning date and shortly after I needed to change the date. That was done with a quick email (received a reply from them within a few hours). Awesome.... They arrived on time and provided a service that was unbelievable. I wish I owned more properties as this group is reliable, cost effective and provides services that are beyond compare. I was so appreciative of Elena bailing me out of tough spot. I had hired a previous company to deep clean my condo for incoming renters and they botched the job. I tried to contact them for 3 days to go out and finish the job but got no response. At the last minute Elena was able to go out on a Sunday morning with less than 24hrs notice and get my place into shape. I have been a customer of Elena"s for over 5 years. 90% of the time they do a good job. Now and then they do very good.They came today to clean and left the front door open when they left the house. My wife was afraid to enter the house by herself to see if someone was there. I had to come home and sweep the house for intruders. I dont know how long my AC was running with the front door open , I'm surprised the pets didn't stray further..How incompetent do you have to be to leave the front open? I called her to report it and she hasn't replied. One star. read more

Elena & her husband,Rafael, came to the house to see what the job entailed. (Wouldn't trust the ones that "didn't need to" or told me to "send pictures" - c'mon.) She came up with a reasonable proposal to clean the whole house - 3 bdrm/2 bath - after termite tenting. She & her crew of 2 were there on Fri morning and worked around the plumber who was also there to fix the gas leak, so there was NO HOT WATER at first. They were fine with going to the neighbors for buckets of hot water to get started. Luckily, Dale Plumbing (a little plug here) was quick & thorough, as has always been our experience, and hot water was flowing quickly. They asked questions where needed, listened and had good suggestions to make it easier - for 8 hours, they all worked their butts off and it looked great! I wish I could have them in on a regular basis and recommend them highly for any job you have in mind. Thoroughly professional. read more

Maria and Elena House Cleaning was extremely disappointing. Prior to cleaning my house Maria came over and I went over everything I would like her team to clean, with attention to baseboards, frames, mirrors changing the sheets, etc. The sheets were put on upside down, untucked and the duvets were put back on unevenly. The frames were put back haphazardly and the frames around the paintings were untouchded as were the baseboards. There were crumbs in the corners and the floors looked dull instead of shiny. There was not one room that was satisfactory. If you want attention to detail I do not think this is the service for you. read more

I had Maria and Elena's cleaning service for house cleaning and window cleaning!! The house cleaning was OK but I was not sure what they did from 8 am until 5.30pm!! They also were suppose to clean the windows and that turned out to be a disaster.....windows were not all cleaned they messed up our new window frames with a chip's in them and the new wall paint we just had finished got messed up too;-(( So that was really disappointing after the good reviews on Service Magic. Anyway, will not use them again!!!! read more

After just one housecleaning I am delighted with Maria & Elena. I called Elena, she came over that afternoon, listened to what was important and was able to schedule me when I need the work done. They did a great job ---including our huge windows -- and just took care of the mess. I can't believe how clean the stovetop, sinks and windows are. Other pluses: they were on time, I like being able to reach Elena via text, and I am impressed with how fast, how thorough, and how hard-working they were. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and I will have them come every other week to keep my house this way. read more
