Placed a large takeout order for 7 adults. Surcheros nailed our order. Every detail was exactly correct.

The food is GREAT. The workers are nice. The atmosphere is great. The only problem I have ever had after years of eating there was... One day I got a loaded bowl with all different types of toppings. I ordered online and went thru the drive thru to pick it up. When I got home and looked in the box all I saw was rice and beans. I called them and they put my name down for me to come by and pick up what I initially ordered so all is well. read more

If Surcheros can maintain their quality and customer service, the restaurant will be welcomed in Jesup. It is nice to have something different than the run-of-the-mill national fast food chains. Jesup has its share of those. I'm impressed that their drink cups are paper vice styrofoam. Lots of fresh lemon slices for ice tea. I'm not sure what the grill suppose to look like in a Tex-Mex restaurant, but Surcheros' looked like it might need cleaning. (ie food sticking to surface, not scraped clean.) The manager was greeting most of the customers and explaining their menu and made sure every customer knew they were appreciated. I could have rated Surcheros a five and not lost any sleep over it; however, the serve line employees are still in the learning curve, but that should get better. I watched an employee remove a pan from the steam table and water dripped into a food item container. Fresh Tex-Mex idea is great, but sloppy employees can cause big problems. I do hope the best for Surcheros and look forward to my next visit. read more

I love Surcheros so much that the employee's have basically memorized my brother and I's meal we both get a chicken burrito then guac and sour cream on the side with a coke. After school we usually come here every week that's how much we love it. Customer service here is definitely 5/5. They always welcome you by enthusiastically saying hello and welcome. We're basically also Surcheros celebrities after coming here for the whole time it's been open. They should have a wall of fame then a picture of me and brother. read more

I really missed living near a Chipotle. But now we have Surcheros right here in Jesup, Georgia. BETTER! Clean, great offerings, outdoor (dog-friendly) seating, accommodating staff, drive-up window, too. You choose what goes into your meal -- lots of veggies, lots of meat, anywhere in-between. My buddy and I went there thinking this was a Mex. restaurant. When we got there we noticed it wasn't. We said to ourselves, "what the heck, we're hungry, we're here, let's go in". The first thing I noticed was their prices - $8.00 for a quesadilla. If you went to a place in my home town of El Paso you would never see that. But like I said, we were hungry and hesitantly we decided to eat - thinking it would be a long ride back to Hinesville on an empty stomach. I want to say we were very surprised and satisfied with not only the food but the way the staff took care of us. I highly recommend to the folks who live in Jesup (and those who live close by) to go by and try them.....you won't be disappointed. And if you visit Hinesville and want to try the best tacos in town, go to "Flacos Tacos" on highway 84. read more

We're big fans of Chipotle, but here we got the same quality at a much better price, less of a cookie cutter feel like a corporate restaurant. Great selection of hot sauces gives a great variety. Plus they had the Georgia vs Auburn game playing so it's an automatic win! read more

This place has good food and is a popular place to eat in Jesup. The negative part of my review comes with customer service. They give absolutely no attention to their online orders ever, even with advanced payment. If you place an online order expect to wait an additional 5 -15 minutes given traffic within the restaurant. Unless you like rummaging through people's food, I would suggest you put special instructions with your order to label each plate. This service isn't offered automatically surprisingly. I have addressed this multiple times with the manager with no change. Beyond these flaws for take out, they offer good food with a friendly atmosphere. read more
