Three recent visits for best 2 out of 3. I love Sucheros. Yes, the price point is high but I can get the chicken burrito bowl and eat it for two days. So that price is actually two lunches. Day time visits seem to be the way to go. Night time is a big no for me. Dirty floors and standing around waiting for a pick up order that had been ready. During the day, the service is phenomenal and everything is kept clean. I'm looking forward to going back very soon. read more

I usually don't give reviews on restaurants unless I know they can do better. I placed my order for my dinner at 5:02. Email said my order would be ready at 5:17. Ok I got there at 5:20. The drive through is suppose to be for online orders ONLY! I had to blow the horn at a car to pull up to the window. I thought he was probably thinking it was a drive up window. He pulled up to the window and for the next 20 minutes I had to wait on my order that i was sure was ready. I called the inside of the restaurant and asked about my order and they said the car in front of me was waiting on his order that he must have placed while sitting in line. I waited another 5 minutes and called the restaurant again and the girl said his order was almost finsihed and hung up on me. My suggestion is tell customers that are waiting on their orders to pull up so the customers behind them can pick their order up. Yes, my chips were soggy from sitting there for 30 minutes. I like Surcheros because I can place my order ahead of time. But you can't allow someone to just sit there and wait on their order when they clearly ordered it while sitting in the driveup line. Years ago, Surcheros was one of our family's favorite places to eat in Waycross. The last 4-5 times we have eaten there, at least one order has been burnt. We've tried different menu items and given them multiple chances. Every time we order a burrito, the outside is burnt and the inside is still cool or even cold to touch, depending on the ingredients that we have in the burrito. Food is always thrown together and I have had my children's orders remade at times because of them being so burnt and they are just as terrible the second time around. The Surcheros in Blackshear provides much better customer and I have never had an issue there. If you want to give Surcheros a try, don't waste your time or money at the one in Waycross. read more

Found this place when I searched for vegan places in Waycross. It's awesome. Fresh and flavorful food. Reminds me of Chipotle but not as high. I especially liked that they had different sized queso. I got the veggie bowl with rice and pinto beans. I wish they had brown rice but it was fine. There were so many toppings to choose from. I will be here in Waycross for the rest of the week. They need to get it together. Do not order online expecting to pick it up on time, because they will not start your order until you arrive. Going through the drive thru is going to take at least 45 minutes. I understand wanting to give jobs to high school age kids, but there is no strict management at all here and every time turns into a disaster. read more

I really liked Sucheros. For good prices, you get good food. I ordered the chicken taco salad. The portion was just right, and the food was delicious. They have a ton of sauces to choose from if you like spicy food. The workers were nice and the service was quick. I'll come back here anytime I'm in town. read more

We are huge fans of our local Surcheros but this location was a disappointment. Behind the line was extremely messy and did not appear to be clean. Busy or not, cleanliness is so important. Employees were rude when asked about our to go order and did not in any way go out of the way to be friendly or hospitable. Even at its busiest, the location close to us is ALWAYS clean and inviting. Will return to Surcheros locally but not to this one. read more

I ordered a taco kit and a salad and a few sauces thru DoorDash at 5:06 pm. I kept getting notices that order was delayed but not due to drivers fault because he was there waiting for order at 6:00 pm. We finally received our order at 6:46 pm but the "taco kit" was only a fraction of the meat it normally has And we did get the shells but None of the rest of the kit ---no lettuce, no tomato, no shred cheese. i spent over 100$ on this order and it will be my last from there. Don't listen to the nay sayers. I ordered online and it was ready and sitting on the table for pickup. The key may be paying online as well. However...do not go through the drive thru unless there is 3 cars or less. They average 7-8 minutes per car. Normally I love Surcheros but this one had a terrible line and several to go orders and so the wait was crazy. There were not enough people helping make the food and yet a few people standing around by the register. Next time I'm in town I will eat somewhere else. read more

Best Burrito Bowl I've ever had. It looks like the subway of Mexican food how you get to choose everything in your burrito/bowl/salad, but the quality of the food is 100xs better. Extremely reasonable prices and a number of toppings to choose from. The employees are friendly and let you make your bowl/burrito/salad however you please. For a health food fanatic like me it's the perfect place because all of the ingredients are clean, pure, and healthy. They even have spinach tortillas! Definitely coming back here! We ate at the Waycross Surcheros yesterday for the first time in quite a while. We went through the drive thru and ordered meals for five people. There was an exceptionally long wait even though there were no cars ahead of us with no explanation as to what was taking so long. When we got home, my daughter and I had both ordered nachos, and after the first bite, we both spit our food out and couldn't eat it. The chips were burned and tasted horrible. They had to have known the chips were not good and they served them anyway. That's not good business! read more

I got to my hotel in Waycross late and didn't really feel like going out to eat. I had noticed the Ranchero's billboard on the way into town and then while checking my Yelp app I saw the name again. There was only one review and I was kind of hesitant to give it a shot but then I saw the online ordering option and went for it. It turned out to be one of my better choices on this long work & travel day. After placing my order online, I promptly received email confirmation of my order and an expected ready for pick up time. I actually arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early and my order had just been completed. A friendly associate promptly greeted me and handed me my order as well as a cup for my drink. I went back to my hotel and dug into my salad which I ordered without the tortilla bowl and it was overly generous, very fresh and flavorful. I then opened my mini-quesadilla and chips which was also of good size for being a "mini" and was equally fresh and flavorful. As I started into my chips, I noticed that I did not receive my white cheese dip. After eating I called the restaurant and ask them to credit the $2 to my credit card I used for the online order. I didn't have high hopes of actually getting it but figured it was worth a try. The young associate that answered wanted me to just wait till my next visit to correct this but I explained that I didn't live locally. I pressed again for the credit and she didn't sound too sure about it but after a brief hold she came back and said it would be taken care. Again, still skeptical. In approximately a half hour, I received a very apologetic call from the manager assuring me the request had been taken care of and that I would receive a confirmation email as well. In less than 10 minutes, I received this email. Extra kudos to this manager for handling a $2 mistake like it was a $20 mistake. Exceptional food and exceptional service can only mean good things for this small but growing chain. I will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in the area. read more

Very clean. Was recommended to eat here by a local and it did not disappoint at all! It is comparable to Chipotle and Barberitos(Athens, Ga). Pricing was similar too. Very fresh ingredients and they have a Southwest vinaigrette sauce that was awesome! They have more options for the type of tortilla like spinach and some sort of southwest flavor which is cool. Employees were nice, patient (as I couldn't make up my mind at first), and efficient. Definitely would recommend to anyone. read more
