It was a quiet night at Gooey's but we had a great time. The employees made the whole experience. We got a great deal for two large pizzas. In addition, I had the supreme chicken alfredo pasta. My husband loved his pepperoni and my son had the Cajun pizza. We will return very soon to try more off the menu. read more

We stayed out in Waycross for a staycation out of Savannah. We wanted to try something local to Waycross & This was the cutest pizza place! The pizza was absolutely delightful! The family style bread sticks is a must! We honestly couldn't decide on a favorite they were so good & different. One has cheddar & pepperoni, they're original is mozzarella and cheddar, they have one with bacon. They're unlike any cheese sticks you've had before! The guy that helped us was super sweet, greeted us right as we came in & ensured we had everything we needed for our togo order! They even have dippin dots! (We didn't get any this time, but how fun!) definitely great for togos, even cuter to sit in especially for family's! read more

Southern hospitality is dead. A horribly disaffected, soulless blond cashier took my money, no greeting, no thank you, nothing. When I got home with a cracker crust pizza, my family couldn't believe the mascot on the pizza box. Everyone gathered round with phones in hand to document the historically racist image. You can disagree w my family regarding the cartoon imagery, but this would never ever fly under the radar in most communities. In 2021 there is no excuse for using this imagery, whether it is intentional or tone deafness, it says a lot. I will never give my hard earned money to this business again. What they do from here is on them. I recommend a rebrand and some serious hospitality inservices for staff. Something like "good evening, welcome to Gooeys." And "Thank you, have a nice night." Not hard. Also, the pizza is better at the minute mart. I am not black, for the record. But this must be called out. read more

We attempted to have dinner in this hole-in-the wall place. We walked in at 8:40PM and were told that they close in 20-minutes. We told the woman who appeared to be the only person who was working in the dining area that the business is listed online as open until 10PM. She acknowledged that and said that it is incorrect. My family and I really enjoyed our trip here. The decoration and ambiance is very laid back and fun. See the pictures is the walls. More importantly the pizza was fantastic. The bacon cheeseburger was by far the favorite. I didn't think I'd like it but it was very good. Adding some dill pickles pushed it over the top. The stuffed crust was quite possible the best I ever had. The meat lovers pizza was good but didn't seem as good compared to the cheeseburger pizza. The spas sticks I probably won't get again. They are cheddar and pepperoni with Parmesan. They were done well I juts think I'll try their piggy sticks instead. The staff was very nice. I definitely recommend read more

I have not seen the physical Restaurante but the pizza and wings that were delivered were amazing. The price is a tad bit high but with what is going on with the economy and the COVID pandemic, everything was great and I will order again when I come back to Waycross for more training at CSX. I would attach a photo of the pizza but it was gone in the matter of minutes that's how good it was. The wings were devoured soon after. read more

Forgot to take pictures, but we ordered 6 different pizzas and all were delicious and cooked to perfection. Waitress was great. Did not notice that gratuity was already added to the check.... She returned to let us know she was tipped twice and offered to correct the final amount. Nice to know there are still honest folks around! (We let her keep the extra tip). read more

Pizza is pricey but you don't mind paying more for good quality. Food is absolutely delicious. Pizza dough is fresh, perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Pizza is cooked just right- semi soft dough and crust is crunchy. WINGS ARE SMOKIN!! Yum yum! read more

I highly recommend this place. The decor is great and our waitress was perfect, And other customers seemed to be getting service quickly from other waitresses as well. We tried several items a personal pizza with stuffed crust, wings, antipasta salad, cheese sticks, and the gyro pizza. All were fantastic. If you are a cheese lover, this is your spot. The amount of cheese on the cheese sticks should really be a crime. My son was so impressed by the cheese pull lol. The salad was delicious with the greek vinaigrette. The wings were delicious, perfectly spiced and sauced. The price is very comparable to any delivery chain place ( they also deliver). We are already planning on going back this weekend.
