Friendly staff, great food. A relaxed atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Would highly recommend this place.

Lunch in Waycross don't get any better. Owner Kevin is Savannah-trained chef but grew up in Waycross and came home. Specials are great. Food is fresh & tasty. Highly recommend. He does dinner on weekends. read more

Food was great! Laid back cafe atmosphere where you order at the counter and seat yourself. It was clean and the staff were super friendly! Made sure to ask us if everything was good and were genuinely happy we were having a great lunch. We will definitely be back! read more

Lunch stop, quick service sandwiches were good would eat here again. The inside is nothing fancy but it is a sandwich cafe

I have never had a bad meal here. The service is quick and friendly and the price is consistent with food...that is, it's Great! I always live coming here and getting one of their paninis! I love that crunchy type sandwich! I will always eat here as long as they're still serving! read more

Home away from home. Food is basic and always good! Bourbon chicken over rice last week. Best place to relax and visit with friends. Recommend their 3 classic desserts: chocolate butt cake, fried banana cheesecake and berry cobbler, all with ice cream. read more

Just left here. The lady behind the register was super friendly. I appreciated her remembering my name and using it to say goodbye. I got a salad. It was a nice size and fresh. Price is fair, $7, I guess. The lettuce was a variety of good lettuces. Other items must be really good here as it started filling up. read more

Great food with great service too ! We love the ambiance. Laid back casual dress code. Steaks and salmon are our favorites but there are other great choices. Craig and Lori approve of this message read more

I only went to KD's because of all the positive reviews but I do not see what they see. In my book KD stands for KEEP DRIVING! I ordered the Brisket Sandwich and my husband ordered the Waycross Ruben and they were horrible. The meat portions were equal to a child's sandwich, my Brisket was over salted and the slaw was also. The fries were equivalent to a .99 fry at Checker's but we paid $2 for them. The Ruben was turkey and slaw instead of corn beef and sauerkraut. I love salt, I will suck on salt rocks that my mom uses to make ice cream, and I'm telling you this was SALTY! read more

Great place for lunch. Lots of options to chose from. There were four in our party and we all had "soups"--Brunswick Stew, Chili and Soup of the day. All were excellent. I prefer saltines with soup which they do not serve. Service was good. It was crowded when we went, so it was a little noisy. I will definitely go back. read more

I first learned about this place at a catering event. I hate the fact they are not open in the evening but it's a nice place to go have lunch, nice location in town and great food! read more

Best staff. Great food. Great prices. KDS Chicken Pasta is wonderful. Salads are big and flavorful. Burgers are delicious. Try their eggplant fries or fried green beans! read more

Surprised at the good reviews. I had a chicken pasta as I was told its their most popular. Unfortunately it's Nothing more than noodles with cubed chicken, graded cheddar and bacon bits thrown in microwave, horrible combo! Although service is friendly I would not recommend this place based on chicken pasta. read more

Love this place. Great service and even better food. Always check out the great daily specials and of course the Kd's pasta.

My ALL TIME favorite waycross establishment. I do not miss an opportunity to eat here when I'm in town. AMAZING food and the funniest owners this side of the Mississippi. Do NOT miss their eggplant fries! They go exceptionally well with a Nimmer sandwich TBH. Also, add Kevin on FB because his pictures/statuses will keep you laughing 24-7. read more

We were driving through Waycross and wanted to stop by somewhere local for dinner. After reading the positive reviews for KDs Cafe, we were pleased to see they are open for dinner on Thursday and Friday nights. I had the Greek salad (very tasty dressing!) and the veggie burger, which was also very tasty. The salad was huge and I could have probably just eaten that but the veggie burger was so good I finished it as well. We would love to stop by here again on our next time through Waycross. I can't wait to try the eggplant fries! read more

Kevin, Heidi and the whole staff are amazing!! They make you feel just like family. The food is great! The eggplant fries are delicious. My ahi tuna salad was so fresh and tasty. And the fried banana dessert....omg! So good!!! If you're ever close to Waycross or the Okefenokee Swamp make sure to stop by here! You will not be disappointed. read more

Boy oh boy, where do I even begin? This swanky southern joint is the ticket in the bustling metropolis of Waycross. The service is second to none and served with a side of sass. The food gives you a modern twist on some homestyle favorites. And the atmosphere gives you a taste of big city loft style. Truly a favorite whenever I'm in the area. Cheers to the gang at KD's! read more

KD's chicken for the win. This place has great food. It's fast and friendly. Just wish it was closer.

Best locals joint ever. We've been dying to try this place for years. KD and his sister, Heidi, are the second best features beside the amazing food. read more

The service is excellent. Food was fabulous. They even had a singing group on Friday. 5 stars!

Best cafe in waycross ga. It's an island of quality, atmoshere and unique eclectic flavor in a sea of McFranchises. It's also a great value. read more

Awesome fresh food, great staff. The eggplant fries are wonderful. I also love the salads and homade pimento cheese. My favorite is the grilled veggie sandwich read more

I've eaten there twice and had the Moi Burger the first time - burger with pimento cheese and bacon yummmm....and the Waycross Reubon with turkey, coleslaw and swiss. Both were delicious and a great value for the money. Would rather someone local get my lunch money rather than a chain!!! read more

The food here is decent and a good place for a family dinner with the little ones. The setting is very clean and elegant.

Very over cooked and not fresh BBQ pork. My wife's grilled chicken was over cooked as well. Sweet potato fries and slaw is average. Just a disappointment. Staff is friendly. Popular place as well. People are coming and going. read more

So far I like their veggie burger, their brunswick stew, and love their grilled pimento cheese sandwich. BUT... I haven't liked their tuscan sandwich or the nimmer sandwich. I have a few suggestions, which I hope they take well if they read this: On their lunch menu they have flatbread, however, it's not flatbread it's a sliced loaf bread. It's a tasty bread but it's not flatbread. If they can make flatbread that will be great because herbs and spices can be added to the flatbread dough - this will add flavor to the tuscan sandwich that is lacking flavor. Or to improve the tuscan sandwich, sundried tomatoes and basil can be added, even some buffalo mozzarella. As for the nimmer sandwich maybe using fresh pears will make it tastier. All in all I'm happy to have a place like KD's Cafe in Waycross, GA as I come from a larger city. I hope to keep trying different foods on their menu. read more
