Scott and his staff rebuilt my 03 Tahoe transmission including Torque Converter with overhaul kit. I recently brought back my 03 Tahoe back this October 2024 with 293, 415 miles with some slight problems with the reverse gear. The main reason I brought it back to (HATS) is the original warrantee was for 36 months or 50, 000 miles. HATS Rebuild Transmission lasted for 133, 402 miles without any issues, that was 83, 402 miles past the original warrantee. I Just brought my 03 Tahoe back recently (October 2024). Mr. Steve Lake the manager, went "Above and Beyond" to make sure my Tahoe was taking care for again for the second rebuild with no issues. I pick it back up after upon completion and everything is back to normal like the first time I drove it. If you are having any transmission issues at all, (HATS) is the BEST! Mr. Steve's customer service is nothing short of OUTSTANDING! I highly recommend going to (HATS) for your transmission needs, you will not be disappointed. v/r Robert G.

We come back Monday after rearranging our whole day, he had the car the entire day and told us he couldn't help us with the issue, he said our casing might be leaking and then told us we had to take it to a dealership (which was not true). We take it to a second mechanic and they said this place probably didn't look at it at all, the casing was not even cleaned off or moved. The only good thing is that they didn't charge us a fee to "diagnose" it, but they didn't even look at it.

When my car needed immediate attention AAA asked if I wanted a AAA certified shop to handle my…read moreneeds. I immediately said yes. When the tow truck took me and my car to this shop it was just not the best looking place. In the emergency I was in I let it go and called them the next day. The owner told me what was wrong and I was happy with the fact that he seemed to know what he was doing. So far so good. Fast forward 2 1/2 months and several calls that he made up excuses to not have my car ready I seriously knew the value of this location was poor. He would yell over the phone to me about my needs of my car. He would make excuses to me about why the parts weren't ready. He would cover over and over. Horrible service. I told him to put my car back together and I would tow it to the dealership. The dealership calls me and says "do you know you have transmission gears in the back of your car?" And I was floored. Champions Certified Car Care is not a place to go to for help. He kept making excuses because he didn't know how to fix my car and left gears in the back of my car. When the dealer called him and asked "why didn't you just tell him he needed a new transmission" the owner said "well I thought of that". Avoid this place!!!! Avoid it at all costs. Just go to your dealer. Pay the extra cost for the parts and get a warranty and peace of mind. I talked with AAA to get his AAA rating removed because nobody should go through this ever. On top of it all he said he wouldn't release my vehicle if I didn't pay $150 for a diagnostic fee when the law clearly states he can't hold a vehicle for longer than 60 days.

I went through the wash and to go park to start drying of my car. I look and see that the cover of my third light which is my brake light was snatched off by their equipment and was in the car wash well. I went to tell one of the per that worked there what happened and to advised them that this piece was in their car wash well. All of this was on my car before I went in and I never had a problem before. I waited for a response for over thirty minutes and it was little busy but now I have damage to my vehicle due their equipment. I was told of coarse there was nothing in there and they would have to review cameras and he will give me a call back. I did get a picture showing later that they found my piece in their car wash well. I spoke to the one that run the place he has an unwelcome attitude when he's confronted with these types of situations. Which this immediately became my fault for that piece being snatched off my car by their equipment and this became my total expense. There was not a ounce of concern, empathy or even an apology from anyone at ishine. I went in later that week to pick up my piece and spoke with Paige which was the name she gave me and ask her to cancel my accounts that I had. I will no longer need them. When try to give people business and they treat with disrespect. I will never suggest any one to ever go to this location.
