NEVER AGAIN. Have used them probably 4 times in the past 10 years. Installed my HVAC with them 7 years ago. Tradesman are great. Company is dishonest. The plumber has to have "a boss" on the line during the quote because they know you will react in disbelief/anger. Imagine quoting someone $1400 to change a garbage disposal. They waste your time, making you wait for hours on a Wednesday then canceling. You reschedule with AI Charlie for Monday and they call you on Thursday asking if they can reschedule "today's appointment". Umm I didn't have an appointment today. I already rescheduled but you are not giving me a lot of confidence. Their schtick is to give you 3 ridiculous quotes so that you feel lower quote of $800 is doable. But $800 to change a garbage disposal is still highway robbery. RUN in the other direction. Get a local plumber and do not support this "family business" corporate greed. read more

We installed a very pricey geothermal unit with them several years ago and with our membership, they are supposed to come check things out a few times a year. They have missed several appointments after us waiting all day, with excuses ranging from traffic to broken down trucks to just not calling or showing up. Their last visit a few weeks ago (where they didn't show up the day they said but came the day after) they found so many problems that they said they absolutely needed to talk to me about it while my husband was home. Set the appointment....never called, never showed up, nothing. We have since had a 2nd opinion where none of these problems were detected. We are switching companies! I don't usually leave reviews, but I got so tired of my time not being respected, I felt I had to. read more

I usually try to be nice enough to not leave a bad review if it was a one off but it's gotten to the point where I feel like I need to leave a review to warn others about this business. I signed up for a membership with this company when I first moved to Baltimore to take a look at my house. At first things were ok and then they quickly went south. They will try to upsell you on literally everything. They have absurd markups. I was quoted $1000 to replace a part on my furnace that "felt warm" which I ended up replacing myself for $250 and 30 minutes if my time. Guess what, the new part is also warm. Hope you work from home because they rescheduled last minute several times on me. And finally, I cancelled my membership and told them I wasn't interested in their business anymore and they keep trying to call me, so they won't leave you alone and they don't actually remove you from their call list even if you ask. We were very disappointed with our recent experience. First of all, the technician was late. Secondly, for some reason, he decided to test all of the electrical outlets in both apartments, telling us that several were running hot and could cause a fire. We were given three options, ranging in price from $6,000 to $56,000. We followed up by having an electrical contractor come in and recheck everything. He found no issues. I'm not sure why an HVAC person, who was there to service the AC, felt the need to check the outlets, but it has eroded our trust in this company. Getting past the AI that answers the phone is also an issue. We made three calls, none of which were returned. I think it's time to find another company. read more

Preston arrived on time and tried to resolve plumbing issue only to find out sewer line is backed up. We have decided for the hydroscrub for all lines leading to the sewer. I'll update after the job is completed. Meanwhile, Preston suggested to get a cap cover to create a better vacuum for flushing toilet and stated it would be a slow drain afterwards and he was right. I had this company install my new HVAC about 5 years ago. The work then was good and I was happy with my purchase. However, the quality of the workmanship, the sales tactics and the complete lack of any ability to schedule an appointment has caused me to reconsider and drop this company. Over the last 3 years, I have spent thousands with this company with the hard sell on items the technicians stated I needed. Here are my major complaints: 1) The technicians indicated the poor workmanship of the original installation in several of the recent service calls. I reminded them that the actual owner of the company was in my house with the salesman to discuss how good their workmanship and product quality was. I do believe the original installation, quality and sales were good and I was happy with the new system. The sales tactics trying to lay blame on what the technician probably thought was another company was disturbing. As soon as I indicated they did the install, the technician would not say that again during their stay. 2) The technicians have stated the installers should have installed other components during the original installation and that I must have the fix they are selling. I asked them to let the owner know and to see what he has to say about that. 3) The plumbing team did a poor job of the drain and fill of the hot water heater. Literally, they just drained it. No back flush, just a drain. The next year, the next technician indicated the threads were stripped and I would need a new hot water heater. This was not happening and I decided not to use them again for plumbing. In addition to this, I had a pipe added from my water line to the outside faucet and I requested copper to match the rest of the piping. When he was done, I came down to inspect and it was PVC. I asked why he did not use the copper piping I requested and he indicated that all he had was PVC with him and if I needed it replaced he would have to charge me again. I was upset but let it go. I called and asked to speak to a service advisor, owner or someone in charge on multiple occasions. I never got a call back and I was never able to talk to anyone. 4) Most of the AC personnel were ok, but one of them flat out lied to me saying I was low on refrigerant and if I did not pay him to clean the AC unit, he would not fill up the AC. The unit had been cleaned the fall prior to him arriving using simple green condenser cleaner. I made him leave and called to complain. They sent another technician a week later that said there were no problems with the unit and perhaps the other technician was confused. The second guy was very professional and did not bad talk the other guy or the company. He just reviewed we were good to go and left. 5) The number of times I have had to reschedule because the person did not show up or could not make it is too high. Last week, I took the day off as they were coming from 1 to 5 PM. Around 4 PM, they called to indicated they could not make it. We rescheduled for today, and without me asking, they told me I would be the first visit for the technician. I took them at their word and told my work I could come in at 10 AM. When 9 AM rolled around, I called and the front desk staff said they do not understand why I am complaining as the window is 8 to 12. Do not offer what you cannot support. The original quality before they changed their name was good, but the people coming out for service calls are going for the hard sale with bad tactics. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

Their most recent service call went very well. Unlike the previous time, they didn't call to reschedule twice. Their service guys that they've sent have all been great, and seem to know what they're doing. On the other hand, the downstairs Carrier HVAC system they installed less than three years ago has now quit working five times total, four times this year alone (twice this week!). Their response to my prior (lower rated) review was that we hadn't been getting routine checkups, but this is wrong for two reasons: (1) The no-name HVAC system our builder installed (American Comfort or something like that) never gave us *any* problems even though we weren't consistent at getting annual checkups (we did get them, just not consistently annual), and (2) we have had checkups on the system, just not by them given how difficult they are to schedule. And regarding scheduling, when a customer pays an HVAC company $60,000 to install new HVAC systems, they should be on a priority scheduling system for at least 10 years, not required to be on a service plan. That said, I did sign up for a service plan earlier this week when the downstairs system quit working, and it's probably a good thing I did since it just quit working again. I'm not sure whether Carrier systems are just garbage now--although this one certainly has been, and the upstairs one we had installed at the same time also has issues (the $1700 (!) Carrier thermostat went bad on that one)--but I will say that other HVAC technicians I've seen posting on Reddit claim that Carrier and Trane are both still great but it's the installation that matters. At this point, I'm not sure who to believe, but our downstairs system is 100% a lemon. read more

Stay away from this company. It was a disaster. A 2 day job turned into a 8 week job. They took on a job they had no business taking on. We hired them to install a tub and shower walls. They had to rip it out and start over. And only did so when I put up reviews. They finally finish and offer a discount and then try and take the discount back. My water pressure is low now, they chipped the walls, scuffed the tub, the floor isn't level, crappy caulking job I pretty much had to redo it, etc. Crazy. Don't waste your time with these guys. This is not the customer-friendly Supreme Air that installed our system eight years ago. It has changed for the worse in many ways and dealing with them is an ordeal. Their AI phone agent makes you long for a human voice, although it did successfully schedule my appointment. The technicians are great: arrive on time, work quickly, give good advice. But then you are turned over to a salesman on the phone whose aggressive upselling is completely offputting. You can only obtain the expensive service he offers. If you have other options for HVAC services, take them. read more

I've been having sporadic issues with my 3 year old new HVAC system since December. Finally my tech Hilmer the second time they came out noticed that the manufacturer had retrofitted a part from a recall back in 2021 and suspected it may be causing the system to lock out. I did some research and yep...other people who had this recall were having the same issue. This fix wasn't apparent and it took a skilled tech to use intuition to diagnose what the issue was. It's always easy when a part breaks because it's obvious but in this case it wasn't an easy diagnosis. Side note Amana/Goodman/Daiken essentially had a recall on my unit which then was causing the issue to begin with...so I guess thanks for the initial recall and not have my house catch fire but as a company they now need to issue a recall on their own recall to fix the lockout issue it caused. read more

It would take me too long to tell you just how bad this company is. They lie, don't care and are unresponsive. I have been without a bathroom for 2 weeks because Brandon K. is horrible at his job. We hired them to put in a new tub/shower, mainly because the subfloor needed to be replaced. He started to put the tub in and we asked three times what about the sub floor to which he responded he would do it, then he didn't do it and put the tub in (crooked and with mortar on the 2nd floor), when we asked why he didn't do the subfloor he said he was told not to (which was a lie). We were then told to go through and cut under the tub to replace it ourselves. He cut a huge hole in the hallway wall to get to the plumbing, didn't ask or tell us ahead of time, and cut right through a stud (which we found the piece of outside in the parking lot after he left). The shower pieces are uneven, one is upside down, it's all supposed to be brushed nickel, but it's mix and match. And that's not even all of it. It took almost a week to get someone to come look at it to see how bad it was and we are still waiting for someone to schedule to come and fix it. No manager or any one called to apologize or do anything to show they even care. I've made multiple phone calls myself and keep getting told someone will call me back, but nothing. Absolutely not worth it. He also didn't say goodbye or tell us he was done, he just left us with the mess. He told his boss he didn't know where we were...my husband works in the basement, where he was and had been the entire time, the same exact place he was when he had no problem coming down to when he needed to ask him to turn the water off. Kyle Fenzel is the one who sold it, said it was the worst job he had ever seen when coming after the complaint, and just keeps saying someone will be in touch...yeah thanks that was over a week ago. read more

Supreme Service Today quoted 1200 for coil and rotor blade cleaning: About $400 for coil and $800 for rotor. The technician quoted high price to clean the rotor blades as he has to take it out from the unit and clean. However, he was unable to open all bolts to get the rotor out, and so could clean probably about 40-50% as he cannot access the blades. Nonetheless they charged me the full price. When I brought this to customer care's notice they offered me a $50 rebate on my annual subscription. An ethical business will give your money back if they are unable to perform the repair, or at least a fair portion. In a nutshell, the cleaning service is grossly overcharged and severely underdelivered. Icing on the cake is that the technician Shawn is a polite and nice person, but he has no control on adjusting the charged amount. read more

Let me first review the facts of the last 48 hours. At roughly 4:40 pm yesterday, our A/C stopped working. Moments later, after several failed attempts at diagnosing the problem (won't lie, I suck at HVAC stuff...hence why I called SST), I called Supreme Service Today and explained to the friendly operator that we would like A/C service and mentioned we had two sick people at home (which is true..I would go into further detail but that'd be HIPAA). They said something to the effect of, "You're a member here, so we'll mark you as URGENT to make sure we get someone out to you as soon as possible." I, of course, answered the only way I could, "Gee willickers, Batman, that's swell!" or something like that. Anyways, the friendly operator was about to send my info to the dispatcher, and suddenly, we got cut off. No worries, I'm sure she'll call me back so we can finish the call. Nope...never did. So, I called them back at 5:02 pm. Unfortunately, my information wasn't in the system, so I easily told the next friendly operator the same stuff: broke a/c, sick people, gee willickers, Batman, you get it. Unfortunately, they couldn't schedule us for the same day, which was understandable, I mean it was 5 at night. So there we were, scheduled for the following day between 12-4. It's a little later than what we wanted, but we understood. So we waited until our scheduled time. 12 goes by, then 1, 2, and finally 3. Knock, knock, knock. I ran to the door to find some guy delivering an Amazon package. Now, that's a company that delivers ON TIME! Anywho, I called SST at 3:44 just to confirm the technician was still coming. The friendly operator said the person was finishing up with their previous job and should be on the way shortly. You know what I said? That's right, "Gee willikers, Batman. That's great news!" Well, we waited. More coughing and hacking. What? Didn't I mention we had two sick people here? If not, well, we do. I called back at 5:23 and asked another friendly operator (Wow, I sure do talk to a lot of operators) if the technician was still coming. Sadly, the operator didn't know and had to call the main desk. So, we wait...and wait..and cough! Darn sick people! At 6:00, we get the following text: "This is SST. We hate you and we want you to wait as long as possible to get service." Just kidding. I just wanted to see if you're still paying attention. Their message really said, "The tech is running behind, and we need to reschedule for another day. We apologize and will call you tomorrow in the morning to reschedule." (Did I mention that was at 6 pm? Hold that thought because it'll come in handy later) WHAT THE FLAMING FLAMINGOS IS GOING ON, BATMAN!?!?! Thought I'd change up my catch phrase. I called SST at 6:13. I'm sure you're asking why I waited so long to call. Well, I had to check on the sweaty, sick people in the house. Then, I called SST (again at 6:13) and gave a full breakdown of what had happened since our A/C broke. She, another polite and professional operator (wow, I hope they get a raise after this review), told me that, unfortunately, the main office is closed. They closed at 6 pm. I rudely interrupted the friendly, kind, and professional operator and asked, "Wait, they sent me a text message at 6 pm, and they close at 6 pm, so they deliberately sent a text message I couldn't do anything about." I also told the operator if that was true, that seemed really shady and rude. It was as if they didn't want to help their customers. Now, for the record, I was pretty heated and may have used unprofessional words when talking to the operator (words like "Darn it" and "That ruffles my feathers!"), but please let the record show that I told the operator that I completely understood it wasn't her fault. In fact, again SST leadership, give your operators a raise, they are amazing! If you're still reading this, well I commend you for your dedication. If you're in the SST leadership, I'm sure you'll reply with "We're sorry for any inconvenience, and please reach out to us so we can make it right," but I'm guessing they'll reply at 6:00pm! ***Breaking news folks At 7:13pm, the tech just called and said he is on his way..stay tuned to see what happens. **Breaking news Gee willickers, Batman! The technician, Donald, did an amazing job. The worst part about it was that after the fix was done, he actually sat down and talked to me about my thoughts on the company. I hated the conversation because after it was over I handed him my resume because I would be honored to work next to him. SST should be proud to have someone like him on their team. This is for a HORRIBLE driver that almost caused several accidents with their ridiculous driving. I travel to DC/Baltimore area regularly for business. On 2 June at 1045, a Supreme truck rapidly approached from behind & began tailgating me for approximately 5 miles. He aggressively passed as if he were on fire, but then squeezed right in front of me & started tailgating the next car so closely that it was barely visible. There was absolutely no reason for any of it, as there was plenty of room elsewhere for his garbage driving...not that this individual should even be on the road. This is how people get killed & such behavior should be taken seriously. A 1/2 ton vehicle is essentially a weapon & nothing to play with. This was reckless & unprofessional on its own, but what a message it sends when representing a business...I do have video footage bc I was certain a supreme service truck was about to be in need of service itself. (She does seem to have some good sales skills though - "sorry you are going through this", "we are having a sale", let's get an expert out to you", etc.) In the end they wasted my time and still never cared about what I wanted, just the script they wanted to get through and close on - getting $150 commitment from me with no commitment from them. This past Saturday 10 AM, I had to turn off my main water valve for a washer installation. As soon as began to turn the valve handle, water started coming directly out of the handle. Having to act quickly, I recall hearing the annoying ad in the back of my head my car about how great Supreme Serice was and how they specialized in emergency and same day services. They went so far to discuss looking to hire people and how "special" they would need to be to work for them. Anyway, once I spoke to the woman on the phone, she took my info and said someone would get back to me with the earliest available appointment. I asked if would be today and she said she had no idea as she worked for a third-party call service. I followed up by completing an online form on their website and received a text asking me to contact them. I assumed I would just get back to the same service and figured I would wait for a call. As water was coming out of the wall, I did not have a lot of time to wait for a call back. The very next call I made; I was in contact with a plumber that did not make outlandish promises but was able to make it to my house within the hour. The pricing was also very fair (not sure if Supreme would have gouged me as I never got call back.) I did not receive a call until Tuesday morning asking if I still needed help, I realize Monday was a holiday, however I thought Supreme was available 24x7 to help me. I am not as angry that there was no one to help me as much as the horrible communication and lack of timely follow up. I do not recommend contacting them for even basic non-emergency services!
