I've become somewhat of a regular because lash extensions give you the look of having "done"…read moresomething each morning upon awaking when you haven't done anything. And I don't want to do anything. But if I did absolutely nothing, well, I would look very tired and uninspired and that's not what I'm going for as I do my 50s and the golden age of invisibility for womankind. I get the minimal natural set in the delicate cashmere lashes and they normally last several weeks. The owner of this place has no communication skills. I've been to this place three times for Lash…read morelifts. It was good the first time, the second time it was done by the owner and she gave me a tint, which I did not ask for- it's cool because she didn't charge me. On the third time, however she started acting really passive aggressive. The third time was done by another tech, I asked if the owner could communicate what I did last time to the third tech and she told me that she doesn't have the information. Their English was very limited and I didn't speak Korean, I told them I wanted a lift from the root and not from the middle of my lashes because if it's crawled from the middle, and it grows out, it grows into my eyelid. After my third session, the tech asked me to check in a mirror which is sitting on a wall with a piece of furniture in between. I was really sleepy after the session and I couldn't really see clearly I just went home. After I went home, I checked, and it was indeed curled in the middle, and it was curled into my lid, and I politely called. The owner asked me to send a text message with a problem and I did. She then responded saying that it was done by another person so I have to come in to fix. When I went in there, the third tech who did my lashes was nice and she said because I already did it a week ago she didn't want to do it again because it's going to hurt my lashes with the chemicals. I agreed. The owner however, came in really mad. She started saying that I complained for no reason and said all these things I did not say. I asked her to refer to the text messages and then she just walked away saying there is nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong, repeatedly in a very rude manner. I was stunned because I was the customer and I was just expressing what I wanted from the service, but it seems like the owner wanted nothing but to argue and be petty. I'm giving them two stars because the attack who did my third session did say she'll fix it for free, which I do appreciate. Was it the worst lash lift I've ever received? No. Was it the worst customer service I received for a feedback? Absolutely. So I think this place is great if you don't have any comments/ suggestions on their work. If you do, be prepared to be yelled at for having them.

I went to The Lash having discovered it through a Groupon. The price was amazing, and considering…read morethere was no way I was going to pay full price for someone to apply mealy bug like hairs over my current lashes, I was ready to risk it. You may be thinking if one doesn't have an overactive thyroid or Parkinson's, it's easy enough to purchase fake lashes and glue for a few dollars to add falsies yourself, but when I've had them done professionally they always look nicer. This spa is a little hidden, but is conveniently located off Old Tappan Road. I was a little weary when I first arrived thinking it could possibly be a drug front since there was no obvious store sign AND I did find it on Groupon (always hit or miss), but as soon as I saw the beautifully dressed owner and the elegant interior of the spa, I knew this was a legitimate business. The process took about 45 minutes, and the lashes look almost natural (think Malcolm McDowell in Clockwork Orange). The lashes are still on, but looking a little sparse compared to Malcolm's long, lower lashes (scary looking but he still looked hot!). I was told the lashes would last for two weeks and already I'm on my third Sunday! They aren't as full, but still no mascara needed (usually a necessary yet tedious process every morning...just add it to the list). I highly suggest The Lash, with or without a Groupon. The service was impeccable, and I've been giving Malcolm McDowell a run for his money.
