I've been to countless places for lash extensions, but I now swear by Lash Bella in Closter! Personally, I would stay away from nail salons that do them vs. a business that is strictly lash extensions, such as Lash Bella. A few weeks ago, Lash Bella was busy the day that I decided I needed them back on after taking a break to give my lashes a rest. My impatience landed me at a nail salon for lash extensions, that ended up being extremely irritating and a lot fell out in one eye after just one week (with my lashes attached of course ). I went back to Lash Bella to have them removed. The owner did not want to speak badly about another business, however it took her almost an hour to remove them. The other place used way too much glue on one eye and there was glue attached to my skin even, which shouldn't be, thus why I was feeling such discomfort. After removing the bad set of lashes, I was supposed to get a new set at Lash Bella. However, the owner used her honest and professional judgement and suggested that I wait a week to let my lashes recover after the stress they were put under from the bad glue removal. Check on Groupon to see if they still have a deal for new customers. That's how I found Lash Bella and that's the only place I will ever go for lash extensions from now on. Lesson learned! read more

I was absolutely obsessed with my lashes when I first got them done. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The receptionist properly informed us on all the types of lashes we could get and was very helpful. Plus, they give you 30% off your first set and 20% off your next visit!! My only complaint is that when I got my lashes done, I noticed that in the end, the my lash technician accidentally got glue on my bottom lashes, making it stick to my top lashes. I couldn't open my eyes! Thankfully, the technician fixed it. However, glasses wearers be careful!! I have very bad eye site and wear my glasses on a daily basis when I'm at home. Usually when I go out, I wear contacts. The times that I did wear my glasses, I experienced a lot of fall out due to the eyelashes constantly pressing on/brushing up against my glasses. I'm obsessed with my lashes! I originally had the Bella set done last week. I went with celebrity thickness, 11 C curl and it looked very natural. I came back for a touch up a week later and wanted a more dramatic look for the holiday party. Ladies... If you are debating on trying out lash extensions, I advise you to dive right in and go for it. You will not regret it. I was initially hesitant on getting lash extensions bc of the pricing, but the deal they have going on right now was too hard to pass up. If you bring or refer a friend, both of you will receive HALF OFF. No joke. Once you arrive at the location, you may be a bit confused bc of the nondescript building. But don't fret just yet. Lash Bella can be found through the glass doors and up the stairs right in between the sushi restaurant and dry cleaners. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I loved the apple scented candles and cute decor. Once you pick out the set you desire (I recommend the Tiara Set with C Curl & Celebrity thickness - can you say va va voom?!), you will be instructed to lay down in one of their comfy beds while they work their magic. I pretty much slept through the entire process (45 mins give or take) and woke up feeling like a million bucks. Maintenance is pretty easy and they are definitely more comfortable than falsies. The lashes look natural and you can tell its some high quality stuff. I especially love the fact that I can spend less time doing my eye make up in the morning bc these babies instantly vamp up your look. I plan on returning in 2 weeks for my touch up. Finally found a Lash Salon I love! When I first called Lash Bella they were very sweet over the phone and I even got a text message confirmation which I absolute love for the convenience of that. They are CLEAN, provide very detailed lashes (length, thickness, etc) and first time customers get 30% I believe? Plus an extra coupon and a loyalty card. I had to reschedule my 3rd refill today but will be posting pictures when I go back! They also have the bed warmers which I love! I've been to 2 other Lash Boutiques and they were great except I felt my lashes didn't last as long as they have here. (And I'm a swim instructor in the pool everyday) My previous salon was great but they were unprofessional when it came to making appointments, I would call and whoever answered would try to make an Appt. with themselves and not take your schedule into consideration. I am absolutely PICKY when it comes to getting my eyelashes done. Lash Bella is my absolute FAVORITE. The location, although small, is very clean and welcoming. The technicians are clean, courteous, and quick ! One hour of a refreshing nap later and I'm out the door with perfect eyelashes. I typically get the J-curl Tiara set with the 10-11 length. They still look wonderful and intact after 3 weeks. I always get compliments that "there's something about your eyes" but they can't put their finger on it because they look so natural. I've also gotten them done with C-curl Tiara set for a more va-voom look, but I found that the J-curl seems to hold longer. Unfortunately, Englewood is just too far and hectic for me to drive to anymore and I've had to look for a salon closer to home. Even still, all you ladies up North know where to flock to. After I left my previous (quite unfavorable) review, I'd made up my mind to never return to Lash Bella. Within 24 hours Lash Bella's owner called me, asking me to give them another chance. He was extremely apologetic about my prior experience(s) there and he seemed determined to win back a customer. To me it is a good sign when a business owner cares this much about his/her business. They believe in what they're doing. So, I booked the appointment and the results are great. The technician understood what I wanted and delivered. My lashes (j curl, natural) look and feel beautiful. They basically look like I just curled them slightly and added a light coat of mascara. Perfect! I'm obsessed! Lash Bella is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and detailed. The office is small, comfy and very clean. Technicians are skilled and very gentle. I'm a newbie and I wish I had done a bit more research or asked more questions so here are some tips if you are making your way to Lash Bella. 1. Come early, parking isn't very easy 2. Cash only! 3. Schedule appropriately, you need 24-48 hours Set aside after the appt. because you cannot get your lashes wet or moist. No steam or humidity. Don't wear makeup! 4. Take your contacts out before hand (my mistake) They dry out for the hour and so you are on the table and contact lens solution may not be the best idea. I got my extensions wet when I tried to re-wet my contact lenses, and some lashes fell out. Otherwise, my experience has been perfection! I called and was told there were no appointments available but that if there were any cancellations I would get a call back. Sure enough 10 minutes later I got a call that they could fit me in! I got the Tiara set in the J-Curl in sizes 11, 12 and 13. The facility was small, quiet, clean and very comfortable. Anne was so gentle while doing the application that I ended up falling asleep. be sure to come here with TIME if you want the job done right. I couldn't believe she said that, especially since she was at fault. I've never written a Yelp review but my experience at Lash Bella was very pleasant so I decided to leave a review. I have been thinking of getting eyelash extension for the longest time but I couldn't easily commit to it because of the costs associated with it (initial service and maintenance every 2-3 weeks) and also for the fear of being hooked on it after getting it once. My friend told me about her friend opening an eyelash place in Englewood and suggested that I check the place out since they're giving out 30% discount on every new set so I decided to give it a try. I think it's fair to say that my fear came true.. I love my new lashes! and I never want to go back to my mediocre looking Asian lashes every again T^T Since they just opened this past week, the place is somewhat empty but regardless very neat and pretty. They are waiting for new furniture and equipment so I can't wait to see how this place will look when I go back for my first retouch session! The owner of the place is a very cute young girl. All I had to do was to lay down and take a nap while she was working on my lashes. The whole thing took a little less than an hour and I woke up looking better than before. It's been about 1 week since I went there and the best thing about it is that I don't really have to wear eye makeup. I'm sure many girls at one point or another wish to get eyelash extension. At first, I was a little worried since they are new but gave a try after reading the well written reviews. first of all, the staffs are very nice and professional. I have been looking for a good eyelash salon since I moved to NJ. I'm glad I found this place because they do a really good job and my lashes have really withstood the test of time. In the past, I can recall my eyelashes sadly falling out within a couple of weeks. It has now been 3 full weeks and I have barely had any lashes lost. My lashes still look full and I chose to do the Bella set (70 lashes per eye). I prefer a more natural look, so next time I may choose to use shorter lashes. But, I am very happy with their services for their price. It's a small salon and when I went there was only 1 technician, so I had to wait a few minutes. But, she worked quickly and precisely. Have been coming here to get my lashes done since they opened back in October last year. They do such an awesome job that many of my friends have started getting extensions after they have seen mine. I constantly get compliments from people asking me if they are my real eyelashes because they're so long and thick but don't look fake. The lashes last for a good amount of time. Although the recommended retouch period is every 2 weeks, I sometimes don't go back for over a month due to my schedule but my lashes will still be intact. The best part is not having to put on eye makeup but not looking bare without them. Booking an appointment is really easy. I usually just send them a text during the week and they reply fast. It's been 5 days since I got my first set of lashes. My left eye looks a lot fuller then my right eye, and my right eye looks like I have half the amount of extensions. Which is weird because I sleep on my left side. I really wish they had given me aftercare instruction and more guidelines on how to take care of my lashes. I've been on google every night..
