This year I dabbled into the world of laser facials and becoming a tox girlie and I'm obsessed!…read more As a Black woman, I've had tons of anxiety about working with aestheticians who don't fully understand melanated skin and I'm so happy to report back that tjat is NOT the case here. Things I absolutely love about this business: - during my first consultation, Kristian took a look at my skin, asked me my concerns, my skin care routine, etc. she then emailed me with a relatively simple skincare routine that was not filled with super expensive products and recommended products that complemented the current products I use. Wasn't sales-y at all and I loved it. - she also recommended services they offer that would again complement my existing skin se routine (which made me feel like, she was truly interested in adding to what I have going on, not replacing) - I only did one laser facial...BUT I'm convinced pairing the facial with the skincare routine she recommended, my skin was noticeably different. - now...when I went in for tox for my birthday...ICING ON THE CAKE! They explained everything so perfectly, again...administered injections based on what I wanted (didn't wanna look frozen, but wanted some limited movement) and I am now obsessed. I may or may not have spent the last two months showing off my wrinkle free forehead to my friends as my new party trick. - the office is SUPER nice. You feel like you're walking into an office or the future. It's so bright, So clean and they offer you water and snacks while you wait. Overall- really enjoy the staff. I love how they explain EVERYTHING to you and are very patient with newbies.

I was told by their staff that they would honor my expired Groupon for the services listed and happily made my appointment. During my appt, the doctor recommended I add on more. I decided to add on $140 of services. The doctor confirmed that what I wanted would be an extra $140 over my groupon to which I agreed. This was a splurge for me, so I made doubly sure this was accurate. It wasn't until after my appointment that they changed their mind and said they would not honor the promotional value of my groupon and I was charged $245 instead! I was sure this was an error and they would honor what I was told before my appointment AND during my appointment. But they will not. I've received numerous emails and calls from Sonya, who just tells me that they don't honor expired Groupons. "That's not our policy" is not an excuse to mislead your customers into adding on services while being dishonest about the cost. I know what I was told by staff. They said my groupon would be honored for the services listed, period. I should pay what I was told the services would cost even if staff gave me incorrect information. A good business practice is being upfront about the cost of services. I can only assume now that this "mistake" was actually intentional. I will take my business elsewhere.

It really motivated me to keep my body looking good. Dr. Verano was very professional and courteous during the procedure. He was thorough and did a great job. My feedback would be that his secretary was somewhat rude. Also, It would be helpful to know how much gauze you need because you need a lot! And I would have liked that ahead of time. I also recommend two compression garments so you can wash the one while wearing the other.
