The time and frustration saved is worth any slight increase in cost...but it even seems like the prices are very competitive. Another time they could not get me a part (I had to contact the manufacturer)--but they gave excellent advice, in a patient, knowledgeable way.

The place is medium-sized, but was fully stocked, was neat and clean. They had some nifty and handy cleaning accessories by the racks in the front. I mainly went to see what kind of green/environmentally-friendly and traditional chemical products they had on hand in concentrate form as it starts getting expensive purchasing cleaners retail by-the-bottle. I was satisfied enough with their selection. I am not sure if there is a special way they set up their pricing structure, but there were no prices on most items. Not even on the rack labels, which was half-annoying. I had to keep asking the lady at the counter so she could look prices up on the computer and I just gave up since I was really just browsing and didn't want to become annoying myself. I can't say the lady at the counter seemed super-knowledgable about stuff, but the owner (who wasn't out front at the time) supposedly knows more. Nelco has been around for years and worth checking out if you're looking to get ambitious with some very specific and/or large cleaning jobs.

Since I last lived in Michigan many moons ago, there were at least a few stores around. Now, the market's shrunk and it's harder to find good quality places like this. This place has EVERYTHING, and their open on Sundays at 10AM. That's right folks, no more waiting until noon to scrapbook! They have a beautiful huge lab with a nice selection of die cuts, TONS of supplies, and wall to wall paper, , albums and other items as well. I was very impressed with the selection here, and the gal that helped me was super nice. They also have Monday night make and takes, along with crops on Friday nights for $15 which includes dinner. I don't know if they have Saturday night crops, but if they did, I would totally go. Go check this place out. Worth the trip, and you can scrap in their lab for free. She showed me pictures and made sure we were getting everything we wanted, and for an amazing price. No way we could have afford all of that if it wasn't for this place. They are extremely reliable and professional which is such a relief compared to some of the reviews from other discount appliance places that had me worried. It's hard to see in the pictures if there are any scratches and dents visible so I'll share incase you're wondering and looking; there's none on any of the visible surfaces in my home, so no one would know. They were able to get me the right ones that the dent or scratch would face a wall no one would see. :) I also love that it's a small family business, they work so hard together and they're really genuine people. Such a nice change from Lowe's that you don't know who to contact or when they're showing up. They communicate the whole way and show up when they say they are.
