Great! Clean, efficient and economical. It's really fun as well. Takes 60-90 minutes to make six meals for your family.

The restaurant has a nice, modern vibe but feels casual and welcoming…read more The pad Thai and khao soi were good, flavorful, and comforting, though not overly complex. Portions are decent, but some dishes could have used a little more seasoning. Drinks are solid, though a couple of the cocktails were a bit too sweet for my taste. Service was friendly, but it got a little slow during busy moments. Overall, a solid choice for a casual Thai meal in Toronto--worth a visit if you want tasty food without the fuss

The noodles are cooked just right, retaining a pleasant chew, and coated in just enough of that sweet, sour, and savoury tamarind sauce to flavour the dish without drowning it. The wok hay still shines through. True to form, it arrives wrapped in a delicate lattice egg crepe, which is not essential for flavour, but undeniably pretty and giving the dish a regal finish. On a previous visit, I made the mistake of ordering dishes too spicy. This time, the server seemed to instinctively know better and brought the khao pad tom yum with chicken ($21) at a medium spice level. The fried rice was a full-on flavour bomb: punchy tom yum paste layered with aromatic onions, peppers, and fresh herbs. And the aroma? Absolutely intoxicating. I'd highly recommend splurging a little and ordering from the "premium beef" section. The khaw waan beef green curry ($27.50) uses "finger beef," a well-marbled cut carved from between rib bones. The result is deeply flavourful, incredibly tender meat with a luscious gelatinous ribbon of cartilage that adds richness. Green curry can often become too sweet or heavy on coconut, but Sala strikes the balance beautifully. It's creamy without being nauseating, with bold curry flavours still front and centre. The sauce is excellent spooned over the cone of steamed rice and soaking into the tender eggplant scattered throughout. Since my first visit, portion sizes have noticeably increased... we left with a doggy bag of leftovers. Everything arrives well-seasoned on its own, but for those who like to tweak, Sala offers a set of "flavour boosters" so you can dial up the salty, sweet, sour, or spicy elements. Personally, I didn't touch them and found the food didn't need any extra help.

The pub has a rundown feel to it. It works when sitting around having a beer but is uninspiring…read morewhen dining. There is an outdoor patio that would have been a better choice. I will say the staff was friendly and very attentive. Prices fair. Solid selection of craft beers on top. I think my impression of the food would have been different had I ordered the southern fried chicken which looked amazing. I had fish and chips. The heavily beer battered fish was too greasy. Couldn't eat the batter it just oozed oil. The fish on inside was ok. Comes with steak cut fries which were chunky and filling. Calamari was decent. The best thing we had was the cauliflower bites. Highly recommended. If you're an east Danforth local and need some pub fare and a place for a good beer Morgans will do fine...but get the fried chicken.

I had their burger, with cheese and truffle aioli only. The burger was great. The fries are thicker cut with skin. Good, but not my favorite. I enjoyed my amaretto sour. My husband liked his smoked old fashioned. Service is excellent. The ambiance is nice. They have booths and a long bar. We came first thing on a Sunday morning so it was still quiet but they definitely deserve to be busier.

I've not had the best experience getting meals from bakeries, and Cafe Cocoro continued that trend…read more Don't get me wrong: the place itself is great (clean, spacious, inviting; it's the type of place you can lounge in for hours), so plus points for that. It's the food that was just meh. Stopped by for lunch and got: - Korean Pancakes: Prepackaged, it still was pretty good (i.e., didn't just taste reheated). The dipping sauce accentuated the sweetness of the pancakes. - Bulgogi Bibimbap: Bulgogi was really bland and a tad dry, so had to put a lot of gochujang on the bibimbap. - Bulgogi Japchae: Agaìn, band and dry bulgogi. The japchae was good - soft and sweet. Also, generous serving that is shareable. - Mango Banana Smoothie: A bit lumpy, and more mango than banana. But great for a hot summer day. Maybe it's the bakery stuff we should have tried, because everyone is raving about this place. The meals were just ok.

A medium-sized side order of kimchi 2. Korean pancake 3. Bulgogi bibimbap 4. Bulgogi japchae 5. Bagel with bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato And of course, 6. A small matcha latte. I thought that the medium was a pretty good portion of kimchi. Probably enough for 3-4 people to share it as a side dish. The korean pancake was very yummy, especially when paired with the dipping sauce. I liked that both the bibimbap and japchae had a good amount of veggies. I found the bulgogi just a tiny bit dry. The bagel was panini pressed which was nice but it did toast up the lettuce which wilted it. The rest of the toppings were really good. The one thing I really didn't care for was the matcha latte. It was so sweet I didn't think I'd be able to finish it. The other thing is that it hardly tasted of matcha. The latte itself was pretty much white. That kind of told me that it wasn't mixed well and just didn't have any matcha in it. I'd skip this on my next UberEats order.
