Busy restaurant but we got a table within about 15 minutes. We looked at menus while we waited so they took our orders as soon as we sat down. Food came out quickly, especially considering the place was packed. Everything was really good! They have many options to choose from and some very intriguing combinations. Would definitely recommend if you want something a little different while on the island.

Wow what a delicious burger place, even better than some I've had in the states. The patty is big and juicy, ingredients are fresh, great flavors. It was super affordable, would definitely recommend coming here especially if you've been a little food homesick. Beware that the sweet potato fries are actually chips though.

    The best burgers!

Fantastic burgers, fries, drinks and side salads. Everything we had was fantastic and the service way amazing too. Definitely arrive early. We got there 5 minutes after they opened and there were only 2 seats available.

Stopped at Suplexio on Friday night at 740 pm, and it was packed. Had some trouble parking, but arrived at the restaurant around 8pm. Waited 30 minutes for a table inside the restaurant. However, our order was taken outside while we waited. Once seated, our burgers came out within five minutes. We ordered two burgers, Imperadors. I added grilled mushrooms to the caramelized onions, cheese and Suplexio sauce. Burger came medium rare as ordered, as did my partner's burger. Fries or a side salad came with the burgers. We left at 9 pm or so, and more hungry customers were waiting outside the restaurant. Would definitely return, but come earlier to avoid the crowd.

Overall it was okay. I think I was expecting amazing from all the reviews. I asked for well done but it came out medium and my friend's medium was rare. She liked it though. I got the azorean one with pineapple. It was very sweet and the bread was good but really rich all together. The meat too was falling apart and a little too moist for me. I didn't really like the texture. Definitely didn't taste like a griddled burger from the US. Which I think is fine, that's not what this place is but just wanted to note that. The fries were cold and bland. My friend liked the walnut cheese burger and to be honest hers looked much better than mine with toppings piled high. I just had a little dollop of the pineapple jam on my bread. The lemonade was good. The waiter had a bit of a rude attitude in his voice but overall it was a fine experience. They also ran out of the daily dessert that I wanted which was disappointing. If I was in the area I wouldn't come back again.

Suplexio is amazing! This is the best hamburger I've eaten in a very long time! With a wide variety of custom burgers as well as fun appetizers you can see why Suplexio is so popular. In fact it's so popular that you need to be waiting at the door of the restaurant 15 minutes before opening to ensure that you get one of the 6-7 tables available. If you're not there at opening it's best to come back in an hour or so because the place literally fills up in seconds. Because they're such a small operation they really put in a lot of time and effort to every burger. I had an unusual concoction, a hamburger with walnuts and honey, it was too weird to pass up. We saw a few people order a burger served with spicy Doritos among other things, there are definitely some fun craft burgers here, I regret not going twice but the meals are so filling! This place is a must try for the Ponta Delgada food scene.

Very good hamburger with all pure Azorean beef! This is a new establishment on PDL but packs the house. Not a lot of seats, but the staff are super attentive to get the patrons in and out. The highlight was their selection of Portuguese beer. I had a porter that was paired well with the burger!

The 1944 with carmelized red onions added. Yum!

We LOVED the vegan burger here and we're SO happy to have a range of artisanal beer options (we were truly spent on superbock). There are a slew of beef burgers for those not doing a plant-based diet, but truly: the vegan burger. Yum! We ordered a side salad and piled some of the greens and dressing on the vegan burger and it was magic. A trendy (and admittedly tourist-friendly/-heavy) spot that caters to your needs and tastes for burgers (vegan, vegetarian, or carnivorous ) and beer drinkers surprisingly well.

Great food - best burgers we had while in the Azores! Service was very good and we enjoyed eating outdoors in the street.

American here . Adjust your expectations. This place is ok. It's very crowded and their ordering process was a bit chaotic.

Great burgers. The meat was so soft and juicy! Fresh cut fries were great with the garlic aioli.

Inside is a rather spacious bar room that is more normal-looking than we expected. There was one big group in the bar but no one else. My husband enjoyed a great beer made by a local craft brewery, which was a welcome change from all the wine we had been drinking. I enjoyed an ice cold pineapple Kima (my new obsession). The bartender was a really friendly guy who shared a lot of the local history with us. It was a pleasant way to spend half an hour while we were waiting for our dinner reservation, and we would absolutely come back.

Since it was a Monday night, there wasn't much open. Lured in by the green neon lights, my friends and I decided to give this place a try. We ordered beers and some Long Islands. Beers were fine, same as anywhere else in the city. Though the bartender took her sweet time making the Long Islands, they just ended up tasting like a coke and rum. I'm sure it is more lively on weekends but on this particular Monday night, it was just us four and another party of 3 girls sitting at the table opposite us. Nothing much to do here except drink and play darts. My friends and I played a game before leaving. Again, not the most exciting place to be but good for a late night drink.

We ordered the prosciutto sandwich and roasted vegetable omelette with goat cheese, both of which were incredibly fresh tasting and bursting with flavor. While both items were fantastic, what stood out to me was the delicious bread which was pillowy soft, chewy and was the perfect vehicle to soak up the farm fresh egg yolks on the sandwich and to pair with the goat cheese and herbal elements of the omelette. We also got a glass of orange, carrot and ginger juice which was freshly whipped up with the Zumex-style citrus juicer located inside the shop. To finish off our hearty breakfast, I got an almond and ginger tart to go that was simply amazing! The crust had just the right amount of crunch and the almond slices paired beautifully with the subtle ginger notes of the pastry~ 5/5 yumminess Both outdoor and indoor seating is available, but we opted for the latter to avoid the cigarette smoke from passersby plus you get the added bonus of watching their chef cook through the big glass window to their kitchen! The owner is an interesting chatty gentleman with very strong political views (the shop is decked out in Bitcoin propaganda) and he told us they maintain a strictly 2-person operation to ensure that the food is prepared up to their meticulous standards. Overall despite the higher-than-average prices, you cant go wrong with INTZ48 for a deliciously satisfying and filling brunch with very high quality and farm-to-fork ingredients. Sao Miguel is known worldwide for its fantastic bread and cheese and this is a great place to sample those together!
