When I sat down for my appointment, he told me again that next time I should come an hour early to choose my color. I sat through my manicure feeling embarrassed, and the tech doing my nails seemed visibly uncomfortable after I was scolded in front of everyone. The manicure itself wasn't up to the usual standard, and one nail had already broken by the next day, and I ended up with a nail color I don't like. I understand salons can get busy, but a quiet, polite heads-up would have gone a lot further than being called out by name in front of other customers. It left me feeling embarrassed and unlikely to return.

I visited Jes today after previously getting my nails done at the brewer Walmart. The salon at this Walmart did a TERRIBLE job on my nails. The service was poor and the nails were overpriced, especially for the quality. After leaving Walmart, upset and frustrated, I quickly called Jes in an attempt to fix the mess that was my nails. Jes was quick to answer me call and was so kind and compassionate about my situation. She allowed me to come in a few minutes before she closed and did an amazing job fixing my nails. I was so incredibly happy that she was able to fit me in on such short notice. I highly recommend Jesnail. I will always be getting my nails done here from now on!

It's not uncommon or shameful, but I felt embarrassed the whole time because of this incident, and I honestly wished I could have walked out at that point- and I would have if my feet weren't soaking wet. Second, let's talk about the RIDICULOUS upcharging at this salon. They charged me an additional $5 to use a pumice on my feet to remove the dead skin. Five dollars! I've literally never been charged extra for something that is usually included in a basic pedicure like that. Talk about a scam. Not to mention the constant badgering to upgrade my pedicure to the "deluxe" version, get gel on my nails instead of regular polish, add on an acrylic manicure, etc, etc. Honestly, I saw the bill presented to me at the counter by the prepubescent girl in charge of checking me out and I wanted to laugh. Asked 3 times trying to push gel but wouldn't speak to me otherwise. Also you cannot look at the gel colors as they walk over and grab them away and say "not your turn" Would not come back

I have never had my nails (fingers or toes) wrapped with acetone soaked cotton, wrapped in aluminum foil to remove the gel. I did not receive the services I had requested, and the employee who did my pedicure said she had only two tools. My toenails were not cut, and overall the service received was sub par and not worth my time (we drove an hour one way) or the money paid. Again, the technician was extremely professional and kind.
