Unacceptable Negligence: Cut My Internet Cable Twice + Blew Grass Clippings Into Garage and Convertible
I am writing this review with deep frustration after multiple incidents of gross negligence by Superscapes while performing work in my Frisco neighborhood. The entire neighborhood is fed up!
Last fall, their crew severed my underground internet cable during edging or trimming work near the property line, resulting in a complete loss of internet service for an entire day. I had to coordinate with my ISP for emergency repair, incurring inconvenience and downtime. This alone was unacceptable for a professional landscaping service that should be aware of utility lines and use proper locating/marking protocols.
Shockingly, this happened again that same winter--the same crew (or a different one from the same company) cut the cable a second time in the exact same area. The repeated damage speaks volumes about their lack of care, training, or basic safety measures. Each incident required costly repairs, service interruptions, and significant disruption to my household and work.
Compounding the issue, on the 3rd of March, while mowing/blowing in the common area adjacent to my property, the crew directed their blowers in such a way that large amounts of grass clippings were propelled directly into my open garage and inside my convertible. The debris covered the floor, seats, trunk, and even got into crevices and vents--creating a major cleanup hassle, potential for stains/damage to the vehicle's interior, and an overall mess that took hours to address. This showed a blatant disregard for neighboring private property.
I documented everything with photos of the damage, their vehicle, and crew activity. Despite my initial (understandably heated) conversation with the team on site, there has been no meaningful follow-up, apology, or offer to remediate from the company or the HOA that employs them.
Homeowners deserve better from contractors paid to maintain community spaces. Repeated property damage like this--especially utility disruptions that affect daily life and vehicle contamination--is not a minor oversight; it's reckless and unacceptable. I strongly advise other residents to monitor their work closely, keep garages/vehicles closed during service, and consider documenting any issues immediately.
I hope this prompts immediate improvements in training, equipment use (e.g., vacuums over blowers near structures), and accountability. Until then, I cannot recommend this company in any capacity. read more
