One shop seems to concentrate more on 'classic' hardware items - paints, nails, sandpaper and the like. The next door shop is more oriented towards general homewares - pet foods, haberdashery, toasters.....it is difficult to see how such a wide range of goods is available in two very small shops, but they manage it. The friendly staff will help advise you with anything you need, and although I'm not sure how long it has been there, I get the impression this has been a local institution for some time.

I…read morereally like it as although it isn't huge, it has bang on trend pieces and a great shoe and accessory range. I suppose the only negative aspect of Miss Selfridge is that it caters for a slightly younger crowd than Topshop and is consistent and quite 'samey' in its lines as opposed to appealing to different preferences and styles. It is perhaps a little less cool also. Nevertheless I think the clothes are great value - not too cheap but not too pricey and I can always personally guarantee that I will find something.
