We got to experience it during the Christmas holidays, which was nice for sight seeing. It opens at 9 am on weekdays, and the outside doors opened to the public about 5 minutes before. Many of the stores open soon after. The 3rd story consists of a variety of restaurants, all of which were closed that early in the day. Instead, quite a few coffee shops were open, including a lot of Costa's. The center of the mall consists of elevators and a set of escalators. Even at 9, there were quite a few people working and browsing.

There is a food court, again with chain eateries but I would recommend eating out of the centre as there is a nice variety of eating places in Kingston town. Similarly, I would suggest parking outside as there are cheaper options though they may not be as convenient. I love their super-escalators where you go up 2 floors rather than 1 and there are frequently events taking place in the main foyer area. Also watch out for some good buskers just outside the centre's main entrance.

The fruit and vegetables are very good, and there are loads of brand goods selling much cheaper than usual. The chiller cabinets host milk, yogurts, ham etc. There are gifts, crockery and stationery also for sale. Upstairs, there is furniture and soft furnishings. The shop doesn't provide carrier bags, but there is normally a good supply of boxes available, and you can take a trolley round with you which you don't have to find a £1 for! The bathrooms are very clean and well-kept which was a giant positive, also lots of stalls and no line at the both times that I went here.
