And true to form, Cornell was a gentleman. My mother-in-law arrived to our new home just after we all arrived there. Reeked of alcohol . so now we are worried about the furniture being moved . They did not know how to move a sofa out yet they just got the love seat out ! Damaged the wall which my sister now has to pay for repairs. I told them to lift the sofa upright !! duh!! Somehow they lost her tall up standing lamp?? When we got to the new place we had people come up to us asking who smells of alcohol ! We were very embarrassed. In the end they charged her an extra $100 for renting the rental truck which was not disclosed in the beginning. And no receipt or invoice ! They were both very polite but I would not call them professional movers . Did not see any damage to anything except lost her tall lamp and some rugs !

During the move-in, the movers caused damage to my newly built apartment building by backing their truck into a large custom exterior drainage and steel decorative frame. Accidents happen, but the company's response has been entirely unprofessional. They are flatly refusing to cover the repair costs, refusing to provide their certificate of insurance, and are completely ignoring all phone calls and emails from my building's owners and property management company. Because they are dodging accountability, I am now stuck in the middle of a dispute with my new building management. Do not trust this company. If anything goes wrong on your move, they will ghost you and leave you to deal with the fallout.

We decided not to go with this business because I received an email from the person who came to provide a quote to us, that was meant for his colleague. It was not meant to be sent to me and we found it extremely un-professional to discuss our situation in the email to the colleague. Also try not to be so condescending when meeting people and discussing what is allowed and what isn't to be packed when the people moving have never done a move like this. Do better!

Turned up well on time and the crew of 3 led by Jackson were ready to go. They completed their work in good time and were very careful with all of our belongings. Unable to fault them for any reason. I am in the service industry and it was pleasing to see a young team that truly came to work. We actually hate moving as we have done it 19 times. Hopefully not need to move again any time soon, but will have no hesitation in phoning Matco again. I will also recommend them to anyone that needs to move.
