There was some confusion about the deposit, which I thought would be applied to the final bill, but was actually a separate charge. This was explained to me before the work started, and since I'd budgeted to spend more than the initial estimate, it wasn't a big problem for me. Just be aware if you're booking that this is part of their process. Ultimately, I felt like the money I spent was worth it because it saved me a lot of time and stress, and that was my priority. We appreciated being able to use the moving boxes they provided as we felt they were solid and safe enough for our belongings. We have a large collection of vinyl records, which is very heavy to move. The movers were very good about it and quite careful with them. There was one small accident with one box, but nothing was damaged. We also had some nice conversations while the move was happening. The guys worked hard, from 9 am to 3, and did a great job protecting our stuff including antiques. We were very happy with how it all turned out! At the end of the move, the reusable bins were picked up which was nice, as we didn't need to store them or add to our big pile of post-move recycling.
