Just dispute the charge or something, they are a scam. Even if you pay for the parking spot, Captain America in his Tacoma will still boot you. And of course their "system is down". But if it's "down" how do they properly check tags for parking? No sense in wasting energy on a towing company. That's just who they'll be forever. Reservation started: 11:50 am Reservation ended: 2:50pm Boot went on at: 1:07pm And not one of the brain surgeons at superior can tell me why read more

Wrongfully booted my car. When I called the company to get this issue resolved, the person on the phone insisted that regardless of whether the immobilization was lawful or not, I would still have to pay. After asking for proof of documentation showing that my pass was "illegible" the person hung up the phone. I will be filing a small courts complaint against the company. I have since spoken to multiple residents claiming they also know of people who were wrongfully booted by this same company. Terrible service. I contacted the authorities and they also highlighted that they've gotten multiple calls regarding them "preemptively immobilizing" vehicles. read more

If there was an award for most disgusting and awful company in Gainesville it would go to superior towing. The absolute worse! It's not even being booted that's crazy it's the attitude of the truck drivers. So beyond rude every single team even if your cars not being booted and you just have a question read more

Exhorbitant fees. Bottom feeders. Booger has a serious attitude problem coming off with threats. Steer clear.

One star is to much for either company. We parked in the parking lot by the Swamp Restaurant and used Park on the Fly system to pay. After two attempts, the system displayed a "duplicate transaction" message, so we assumed the payment had gone through. When we returned from dinner, our truck had been booted, and a representative from Superior informed us that no payment was received,. We were forced to pay $80 to have the boot removed. The driver was extremely rude, and the phone staff were equally unhelpful when we tried to resolve the issue. The parking lot company's only listed contact method-an email address- does not work, leaving no way to reach them directly. this experience feels completely unfair and unprofessional. read more

They live off of nothing but just being money grubbers. They boot you even at your own place where you stay. Lived in the place for a year, registered my car, and they still booted me because my tag fell off. They go by so many times a day just to look for cars to boot for more money to steal. And 84 for a boot is crazy money if you don't have it. Feel sorry for people who can't afford that because of these people. Genuinely, they are never a help to the community. read more

This service has a 1.4 Star Rating at the time at which I am writing this review and I feel as if this rating is far too generous for a business like this and feel the need to bring it lower. I got booted for barely parking over the line when there were so many parking spaces already open and it was within my own neighborhood. Plus when I called customer service to get the boot removed, they were extremely rude as if I chose to call them and take time out of their paid job. And then when the truck got here, they were continously trying to badger me into signing something which said I could not dispute the charges and even before giving me the chance to read and sign it, the truck driver kept insisting on me giving them my card. I said that I would like to at least read the agreement first and the driver got upset like he didn't just tell me to sign some contract. All in all, this service is a scam and the whole world knows it. There is nothing of value that they provide and they live off of taking money from college students. read more

I parked in front of my apartment complex and in the space where I pay for parking, however, my car was booted/immobilized. I explained that it was a misunderstanding and that I do in fact pay for parking, but they refused to acknowledge the issue and accommodate me in any way. They only insisted that I give a payment despite it wrongfully being put on my car. This just seems like an intentional attempt to target student housing to make money. read more

they rip people off. They actively search for cars being loaded for students at apartment complexes during graduation. They offer apartment complexes, absolutely free service and then they charge 80 bucks to remove a boot Yeah, they make money. But do they provide a needed service? Despicable read more

They suck, will literally boot your car whenever they can. Even if you live where you are parked they will come and get you. I was booted in 30 mins for parking in a 30 min spot. Like genuinely, how miserable does your life have to be to boot cars for a living. You must not be loved enough if your occupation of choice is booting college kids. Do better superior towing. read more

Honest, fast and reliable. Really appreciate Superior Towing being there for my family in time of need.

I wish there was a way to give an establishment 0 stars. The employees, as well as the owner, were and are extremely rude, arrogant, and provided HORRIBLE customer service. The receptionist constantly interrupted me, was putting words in my mouth, started yelling, and said "I am done speaking with you" in a tone that is not even close to being appropriate when speaking to a customer. It is evident that she received no training and it is pathetic that she is the first voice/representation of the company anytime someone calls. Yet, the owner Kevin must be related to her, because when I was finally able to get ahold of him he conducted himself in an identical manner. It is borderline illegal to operate as a company who scams people that does not provide any reasoning, evidence, or justification for their actions. If it weren't for larger companies (UF, The Standard, The Retreat, Piesanos etc. ) to have contracts with them, this company would be out of business immediately solely based on how unprofessional and rude they are. It is very ironic on their sign outside of Superior Towing's office, workers are offered the ability to work on commission. This perfectly explains how they boot and tow people because they have the power to and want to make the most money they can, meanwhile doing so for wrong reasons that do not justify booting/towing AT ALL. I would be embarrassed to work for such a scummy company. read more

Poor customer service. Do not show up even though we have a roam towing contract. Three times we have called for service only for no one to show up. Rude customer service. We have terminated our roam towing agreement and now have a new company. Don't waste your time with this company. read more

A massive block party shut down the parking lot my job has so I had to park down the street where it said "parking for block party only" during work. Came outside at 2:30am after work to my car towed, nothing like working for money while being a broke college student and losing everything I just made bc of these great people! read more

Rated a zero. What a sham, my guest's car at our condo at Jackson Square in Gainesville was booted this weekend. We had a parking pass clearly visible on the dash IN OUR OWN PARKING SPACE. Jackson Square gave us only one copy of the pass so we made a colored copy. Bottomline this company are jerks and the lady on the phone when I asked for her name as she was rude, arrogant hung up on me. Superior Towing is a bottom feeding, unprofessional company that preys on college students. SHAME on you! Poor customer service WORST Towing company in Gainesville, FL. Predatory company may you get the same crap that you give out to people hence the reason all the hundreds of crappy reviews on YELP and GOOGLE! This company is a total RACKET and may the crappy OWNER AND RUDE STAFF get what they deserve a big ZERO REVIEW. read more

Very terrible experience with them. My friend came over to visit me at my apartment, and we met at the door to the garage for me to give her a parking pass. We walked back to her car together to put the pass on the car. Definitely under 60 seconds had passed, and she had a boot on her car! The tower had not even left the garage yet, saw us, and came to collect his $85. We had to tell him that she literally just walked 100 feet to meet me to get the parking pass, and the tower said "Yeah I could tell, the car was still warm!" read more

0 Stars. Towed are vehicle in our purchase spot. We were parked legally and they told us out of our own spot. Made us pay $520 to get the vehicle back. The HOA would not help us. The towing company would not help us, and the police would not help us. Incredibly rude all the way around. Superior Towing is protected by the city since they own their contract also. read more

Awful, predatory company that takes advantage of hidden signs and will tow and boot your car and the leave you on hold for 30 minutes just so that you can get your car back. If I could leave a half star review, I would. read more

Wish I could put 0 stars. Possibly the most hated place in Gainesville, with good reason. I'm sure this company and its employees literally spawned from the pits of hell itself. They are so completely unethical and their workers have no moral backbone at all. I had parked in a friend's complex with their visitor pass hanging from my rear view mirror, but there were no visitor parking spots left (which there were only so many to begin with) so I had no choice but to park in an empty spot that was not labeled as a visitor's spot. I saw that a few other cars had also done the same, so I figured it should be okay, especially since there weren't any visitor spots left anyway. Then I went to hang out with friends, and when I came back, my car was gone. I immediately knew it was this ugly towing company because I had seen a scraggly old white man going around with a flashlight checking each car at 1am a few weeks ago to see if they had a pass/parking permit or not, and then he ended up towing a car right after. I briefly looked around and saw that the other cars that were in the same parking situation as me were still left there, so I called, and apparently it was a roam tow. They actually admitted that they randomly towed my car for no reason. When I asked why it was only my car that was towed, the lady told me she didn't know and couldn't do anything about it. How useless. I wonder what it's like to have absolutely nothing else to do with your life other than to illegally tow and scam people out of hundreds of dollars each day. Must be a sad existence. I don't even know how they're still an open "business" when they should have been shut down years ago for their crimes. I have no doubt that these people will rot and die alone. read more

We had a car that had broken down for over a year, no time to get it fixed. Ernie from Superior Towing came to tow it from the apartment and I caught him just in time to ask if I can move my items from the vehicle. It's junk, and we wanted get rid of it anyway, so I let him know the details and he gracefully gave me an extra day to get my things. How nice! I received a call from Ernie the day of the pickup, asked if I could meet him at the apartment to collect my tag. I had completely forgotten! He waited about 10 minutes for me to get home and had already removed the tag for me. This saved me time, frustration, and money. There's no other way to put it, Superior Towing rocks. I will only use them from here on out. Thanks for the thoughtfulness, Ernie. Way to look out for others! Edit: I see a lot of negative reviews and posts but they're all people who messed up and got their car towed due to their own fault. My experience was great! Treat people with respect and things will work out. read more

Got my car immobilized despite having a valid visitor's pass at West20. Had no idea that I should park at visitor's spots. Had to pay $80.20 to get freed. And when I went to the visitor's reserved spots, surprise! Full! And... NONE had a visitor's pass there!!!! So, I called Superior Towing to question what is this "law enforcement"attitude when they picked my car and the rest get peace. "Random" choices the guy on the phone said. So, West 20 has a contract with this company to enforce their rules, pay them and they pick just my car and I get penalized twice? I had to park a mile away from my daughter's bedroom. What an interesting company we have in Gainesville. Their note mentions the Sheriff's office and their VM message says: "do not discuss" giving the alternative if just one choice: "press number one to pay" read more

I give this company 5 stars as the tow company is simply contracted by complexes, and businesses, also the city of Gainesville in certain places, and the county. There are rules that seem to continue to be broken despite signage clearly stating the obvious and then when you get booted or towed you give a bad review. How about this follow the rules! Nope I do not work for not do I contract to the company but I do know how it works and pay full attention to areas I may get towed! read more

Why did they even make a Yelp? No one likes this fucking business and with good reason. They literally crawl around Gainesville at night towing people who are often not in the wrong. Don't even bother trying to reason with them. They don't give a shit about you, your car, your circumstances or even if you weren't in the wrong. Anyone who works here doesn't know jack and will misinform you. Paying $100 fucking sucks but it's honestly better than trying to deal with them. They also claim that they don't know how to forward photos that they've taken of your car (which is an extremely simple task, if they even just take a fucking picture of a picture) to you and you have to come into their dinky office to see them. I don't understand why you aren't allowed to have access to photos of your own car. A joke. read more

Don't call them if you need help, I professional and will damage your car. Nothing superior about the service. I would keep the car where it is, less damaging that their service read more

suck my juicy cheeks Seriously- this company is garbage. Towed my car twice in one day from the parking lot where I fucking live. -2/5 stars read more

If there was a negative star that's what this company would get. How is this rip off a company still in business after hijacking cars that are parked in "visitor" parking! Then to say it's because of it being a "weekday" time frame. When in fact the time stamp on the ticket is closer to 6pm which IN FACT that would be a WEEKEND(apparently they can't read, or know how to count, let alone know AM from PM) the guy on the phone then said it would be $480.00 to get my daughter car out of their car cemetery. How does the University of Florida allow this to go on is beside me, the University should be ashamed, and this tow company needs to STOP taking advantage of "guest" that visit the campus and the students who attend that college. Obviously this company gives bonus to their drivers by seeing who can tow the most cars! The better business bureau will be hearing from me, this is far from over! read more

This is happened a long time ago and just came up in conversation. Which pissed me off again. Went to pick my friend up at his apartment. I sat inside for about 15 minutes then went to smoke. Saw someone taking photos of the car and was like "what are you doing?". He said "I'm about to two this car". It was mine and asked him to wait I'll get my keys and move it my friend lives here. I literally ran back to get my keys and looked over to see the tow truck driver back up as fast as he could and take off with my car. My friends apartment and car were about about 30 feet away from each other. I know the owners or past owners and they didn't condemn the tow driver at all. Shows a lot about this business read more

Highlight of my day! They towed my car so graciously! They even moved my mirror so I couldn't see anything anymore! And it was only $100 for this amazing service! 10/10 would recommend to mix up a monotonous day! read more

This company is unprofessional, unethical, and incompetent. Towed the vehicle from a legal space where it was parked only a couple of hours. Damaged a tire putting gouges in it, and caused damage to the gears. Likely assessment is they towed the rear wheel drive vehicle incorrectly. When attempted to ascertain and discuss the damages was put off for over an hour and in calling was hung up on with no resolution, The employees are rude and clearly untrained. It is horrific that the city of Gainesville or any company uses this company for towing. Anyone needing towing help should avoid this company at all cost. read more

Wouldn't even give it a 1 star. The two men who were working were incapable of understanding my concerns and did not have one care for what I had to say. Not to mention how the tow driver was driving as if the car wasn't even on the lift wouldn't be surprised if there is damage to the car. read more

Aside from my vehicle being towed unfairly and purely by mistake, I was treated without any common courtesy. The attendant was barely an adult, raised his voice at me even though I didn't, and became increasingly hostile as I pleaded my case. My rights, according to the Gainesville Police Department's Towing Bill of Rights (available on the GPD website, be sure to educate yourself) were violated, as the kid refused to let me inspect my vehicle prior to paying. Unprofessional, rude, devoid of courtesy. Roam (predatary) towing really should be banned. I feel like i was robbed. read more

My car was damaged in a rear end collision-no fault of my own. I brought my car in to a body shop in the morning and was picked up by the car rental place to get my rental. I got home w/ my rental and parked in my usual spot upset. I went up stairs and did a couple things and looked out the window and the rental was gone. I didn't even get a chance to put the decal on b/c I'd just gotten home from the rental car place. I should have immediately put the decal on and I'll take the blame for that. Who knew that they'd arrive so quickly-and after the morning I'd had. I called Superior Towing and said I live in the community just got home and didn't even have a chance to put my decal on. I told them about my morning. When I arrived at Superior a brunette woman with a short pony tail got the manager upon my request. The manager didn't even take 2 minutes to ask for proof or to understand that I'd had a very long morning switching cars b/c of the accident and hadn't even had the rental parked there for very long when it was suddenly towed. He basically had a 'so what, no one cares' attitude. I was fuming and had to pay $100 dollars to get the car out. The brunette behind the plastic window was smiling and when I asked her if she'd be smiling if this happened to her she responded with "What I'm not allowed to smile?"Apparently it's funny at Superior towing when you take someone's money that they had left to live off of for the next week and a half. And it's funny when people are having a bad day. If the manager had even taken sometime to consider the fact that I had 2 decals and a drivers license with my address on it as proof-but instead he made his decision in about 10 seconds. If you use this place to even have your car towed you are contributing to the paychecks of people whom have no care for others. I called them back after leaving hoping to speak to someone more understanding and the woman who answered the phone after I told her everything that had happened just said "Is there anything else I can help you with?" She showed no care. I guess there is nothing I can do about it-but I sure hope you'll consider this review before using their services. Heartless thieves. read more
