Highly recommend Elite Towing! When our girls got stranded on I-75 and AAA couldn't come through after 24 years of membership, one call to Elite Towing at 1 AM got a truck out within 90 minutes. Saige, who answered the phone, was kind and reassuring during a stressful night. The car was picked up safely and delivered to the dealership by 5 AM along with 16 pictures showing the vehicle was well cared for and an invoice to submit for AAA remibursement. As a mom coordinating this from miles away, their communication and care meant everything. Can't thank this team enough. read more

Had a family emergency that found members car over 2 hundred miles away. Called them at 8 am, requested service to return to local shop. Within minutes had a well defined quote, within an hour car was picked up and within 3 hours car was at the local shop as requested. Car was undamaged. Driver notified me at pick up and delivery. Very happy with the service and timing. Highly recommend based on this experience. Sorry about not noting names of who I was working with? read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The staff at Elite Towing were unbelievably rude and pushy from the start. They acted like we were an inconvenience, and even tried to throw us out on the curb with all our luggage -- literally saying it wasn't their problem. When we contacted management, we expected someone to step in and make things right. Instead, they said they understood why their employees were being rude and told us they'd "pull away," but by then the truck was already gone. Absolutely unprofessional, no compassion, and no accountability. If you value basic respect or customer service, stay far away from Elite Towing. Also to note, the driver was smoking around my pregnant wife and texting and driving. read more

I have has a commercial account for several years. I have walked away from this company several times and keep going back due to their location. Today is the last straw. The driver was very polite as he basically told me to F Off. I wanted the driveshaft pulled on my commercial truck and the driver wanted to pull the axel. Every other driver has pulled the driveshaft on this truck. It's simple to pull the axle and you don't have to crawl under the truck. The driver told me he would only tow it by pulling the axel and he would t pull the driveshaft. As I called dispatch, the driver started setting the truck back on the ground. He had pulled one of the rear tires onto a wood block, crushing it nearly to the rim because the truck was loaded. He didn't see any issues with causing that much stress to a drive tire. Dispatch sided with the driver and I told them to close my account. In the past I have had extremely long wait times, poor communication, and argumentative management. On the same note, I have had drivers who have gone above and beyond as well. But the company as a whole is not good. read more

Driver was incredibly rude. Smokes around my pregnant friend, was not willing to help and attempted to make us sit on curb with luggage.

Elite responded to our emergency at 2 am Sunday morning. The driver jumped our battery and then followed us to I-75 to make sure we were on our way home. Can't praise them highly enough. read more

Had a wrecker come help us undeck a few sets of new trucks. Amazing service amazing price and arrived at the scheduled time. Elite towing thank you and a shout out to Jonathan! read more

I would like to give negative stars. As in -5. This company is walking felony. They will steal your car. My 1978 Corvette was stolen and ended up in their tow yard. I then received a bill from them for over $1000 dollars 10 days later which was how I found out they had my car in the first place. I went to the yard to see what condition it was in and the man that lives on the lot told me that my car was not my car. They only had one 1978 Corvette on the lot and it belonged to a friend of the owners and he was given the task of watching over it and so I must be mistaken. My car must be someplace else. When I contacted the police they didn't have any idea that my car was even at their tow yard. They jacked up there prices to the sum of over $4000 dollars. They made it impossible for me to pay them for my car back. They never reported the tow to the city so I couldn't do a hearing. I believe 100% of what the man said that lives at the lot. When the auction was supposed to happen, I went to the auction location and found an empty lot. My friend called the day before the auction to ask when their next auction would be since it wasn't on their website. He was told that they were not having any auctions and did not forsee any in the near future. Which means they did exactly what that man had said they were doing. Storing my car in the tow lot for the owners friend so they coukld obtain a title for my car. read more

Elite Towing - My car that Elite towing helped to steal. - Towing Near Me - Gainesville, Florida

Waited over 3 hours for a tow. Was called twice and each time was told 45 minutes they would be there. When they finally came they speeded down the road with my bad tire in the back wobbling. When we reached the dealership they put my car way in the back in the gravel on a steep hill going down. I will not recommend this company. read more

I broke down in Gainesville and this company has the best drivers I have ever met. They make sure I was taken care of with where I went and were very professional to work with. I don't recommend most places but have to do this one. read more

I woke up to a flat tire in Gainesville, lovely. I thought this was going to be a mission but not at all. Elite sent someone within 30 minutes of my call - probably less - and the gentleman changed my tire to my spare in less that 15 minutes. Very professional and cautious. I highly recommend Elite towing. Thank you for making a bad situation feel not so bad. read more

picked me up when my steering locked. got there fast and enjoyed my ride, driver was very kind

Elite Towing went over and above their required duty's! I would highly recommend them for any towing service that comes up!

An absolutely amazing experience with this company!!! After waiting for over three hours for the other guys to come and being reassured by them that they were on their way and then not even answering the phone; I called Elite towing and they were there in less then twenty minutes. This company was beyond professional and treated myself and my vehicle with respect that has been found far and few. Thank you for being the company that you are. read more

Made arrangements to have my car towed. Paid. They never showed and hung up on me when called.

I have used them multiple times for tows on my vehicles when they have to go into the repair shop. All of their tow truck drivers are extremely nice and are very careful with towing. Couldn't recommend a better tow company! read more

My insurance company sent these folks to give me a hand this week and the service was fantastic. Shannon was prompt, super professional and helpful and had us back on the road in minutes. Highly recommended. read more

My car needed a jump. They made us wait 2 hours. They threaten us that if we don't pay they will call the police. One of the people showed up to my place of work to get money. We contact our insurance company for this and we have coverage but they wanted more money. The worst company and scammers. Specially if you are color and from another country. Don't use them. read more

Helped my friend tow her car in less than an hour. Reasonable rate as well, and the person on call was quick and kind, going above their responsibility to help us. Usually, towing companies are disliked for expensive rates, long wait times, etc., but Elite Towing did not suffer from any of these downfalls. If you need to get your car towed or a service call, I highly recommend this company!! read more

David from Elite Towing towed our class A RV and did a fantastic job. He was very personable, passionate about his job and took the time to tow it. He went way above and beyond what was needed and you can tell hee cares about his job, the vehicle and the customers. read more

I had to select 1 star because there wasn't anything less. The owner was a total incompassionate jerk. I saw through his scam. He tried to take advantage of an elderly person (in their mid 70's) needing their medication. He required a notarized form from a family member that was hospitalized. The family had a wreck 10 hours from home. He wouldn't wait past 5pm to get a form he required. Then agreed he would for $100 for every 30 minutes past 5pm. Just to get luggage out of a wrecked vehicle that the insurance company released. He talked about how he had the power and was the one in control. Repeating this over and over smiling. He was a total jerk. People like this should never have their business patronized. Karma will come back on him one day. I only wish I can be there to enjoy it. read more

Honestly fantastic service. Quick and helpful. Made a very stressful situation simple to resolve and it's much appreciated

My front brakes of my car locked up so I of course had to result to getting a tow truck. I put "towing" in my maps and went down the list of the nearest towing. I called SIX different towing companies and either they didn't pick up the phone or they wouldn't be able to get to me within the next hour and a half (mind you its 90 degrees outside). Elite towing not only answered the telephone promptly and professionally but the tow truck came within 20 minutes. If I ever need to be rescued I know that Elite Towing is one call away. Someone must have paid the other people to do the review's because I had one of the worst experience ever with this company On May 27th I returned the 12' budget rental truck after Leslie did the walk around I asked him where/how do I get my refundable deposit back he must have had something pressing to get back to because when I asked him he quickly turned away and Started walking really fast back to the office talking real low I couldn't understand or hear him my husband tried to explain that I wear 2 hearing aids so finally when Leslie stopped and turned towards me he started mocking me because I couldn't hear him I've never been so hurt and humiliated in all of my life and I've worn hearing aids for 35+ years what he did was absolutely wrong!!! He violated my ADA rights !!! I will never use budget ever again !!!! read more

Buyers Beware. Elite damaged our property, promised to replace it, and then didn't. There are other moving companies. Use them.

We had to leave our car downtown overnight because the starter failed. This morning (Sunday) we called three towing services that advertised that they were open, but Elite was the only one who actually answered their phone. Matt was very friendly and helpful. A Sunday of a holiday weekend but they responded promptly and got the car delivered quickly to the repair shop we had chosen. The driver (I wish I had gotten his name!) was also very friendly and helpful. Couldn't be more happy with this business and I highly recommend them! read more

If you need your vehicle towed avoid this towing service. If you own a Hot Rod or Classic Car do not let this tow company tow it. I feel that some of their drivers do not have the training to tow classic vehicles and can not load them and or unload them correctly. Avoid this poor towing company. read more

From the friendly, empathetic dispatcher, to the quick response time, and then adding in a very professional driver and reasonable fee...I couldn't have asked for a better towing experience. I was already frustrated about the fact that my car wouldn't start and had to go to my mechanic, but the folks at Elite certainly brought some "positive" to a bad situation. THANKS ELITE! You guys are wonderful and know how to treat your customers! read more

Where to start with this inbred run establishment... They gouged me after I was in a motorcycle accident, called me names (dike to be specific,I am very much straight...) and lied to the BBB when I filed a report. You need $450 in cash only? After two separate transactions at an ATM + fees I come back to them telling me I owe them an additional $45 "pull out fee". YOUR DAD SHOULD'VE PULLED OUT. Mind you I'm in pretty rough shape just trying to get my gxsr back from an accident two days prior... So I again trekked to the ATM for the money...Prior to all of this I called and had a quote around $200, I get there and they had doubled the price and won't take cards. Called the cops to have him get an estimate for me so I could return the following day with my father and the $200+ dollars they had tacked on for no apparent reason. Filed a claim with BBB and they claimed I basically went in there threatening their lives. I hate these people more than anything on this earth and wouldn't be sad if this establishment burnt to the ground with or with out all of the dirtbags inside. THAT MUCH. read more

Reading the experiences reminded me of my own. Got towed from visitor parking and was told they only take exact cash, no change or anything. It was 3 am and I was drunk so I took the money and used it in a very unpatriotic manner that would normally be reserved for other sorts of paper. I handed the money to the gentleman and secretly hoped he got hepatitis. I recommend you do the same. read more

My poor daughter was totally taken advantage of they told her one price and charged her $100 more. I would never recommend this company to anyone Terrible people. Beware. read more

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL people! Also they are now called 'ultimate towing' but are in the same location. First, they stalked me around downtown to see where I was going so that they could run this tow scam when parking lots are not even full. So rude, so entitled, horrible horrible people. Their credit card machine was 'broken' and so they said I could only pay cash, yet refused to help me in any way get to an ATM. I sat on their front steps (they have no chairs) for 2 hours until my husband could drive to give me money. Sorry, I don't normally carry $100 on me! I hope they ALL get hepatitis, especially the woman with the ugly tattoos (if ya'll been here, you know what I'm talking about!). I cannot believe they are still in business! Gainesville needs to rise up against these wretched people! read more

I see from the other reviews of this business that people are not fans of their roam towing experiences, but I am reviewing them for a scheduled towing job. I am in the process of restoring a classic car, and needed it moved from one location to another. Doing it right required a flat bed tow truck, patience, and a little muscle. The driver showed up exactly at the scheduled time, was very friendly, spent the extra time to do the job right, and the price was very fair. read more

Great experience! Mike spent about half an hour trying to figure out how to help me get my rental's keys out of the trunk, and eventually figured out how to pop the back seats back. Hopefully I won't need to be towed in the future, but if I do, I will choose elite towing for great customer service! read more

My daughters car broke down while attending UF and they towed her car as requested but when the driver noticed another set of keys left on the passenger seat he called to inform us that the keys were left in the car. This is the type of excellent customer service that makes a company successful and the driver should be commended for taking the time and initiative to make sure she wasn't left without keys. read more

Our RV broke down on hwy 301 south of Starke, Fl. Our Roadside Assistance company called this company to tow us to a repair shop. The driver arrived and looked at the situation. He then went through a check of our RV to determine why it broke down. His extra effort not only determined what the problem was but he also communicated with the repair shop and asked them to go the extra mile to ensure that all of the other components were working correctly. He gave us the confidence that the repair shop would treat us right. He even unhooked our tow car for us so my husband did not have to stand in the roadway to do so. What a great company.
