These were not minor details that could have been overlooked--they were obvious problems that should have been communicated upfront. Knowing how far we were traveling, it would have been basic courtesy and professionalism to be transparent. Instead, we spent an entire day and a lot of energy on a trip that could have been avoided with honest communication. Buyers should make sure they get extremely detailed information and proof of condition before traveling, as our experience showed that the information provided was not accurate. Turns out it was the oil change I got at fast track that was not done correctly and the filter was not tightened down and possibly they pinched the filter gasket. My car is now in the shop! I had a nightmare experience with 2tech Auto in chico Ca, (read the yelp review its an entertaining…read morereview) and only 2 hours left on my breathalyzer till it locked out my car, this was from disconnecting the battery which is apparently not allowed. I did so cause the unit was draining the battery at night to keep itself warm in the cold. Nevertheless I called 99smog and Tune and he said come on out with no appointment, which saved me a 300$ tow if he had said make an appointment my car would have locked out. When I got there they were very sympathetic towards my situation and had me out of there in 15 minutes. I couldnt have expected them to show more empathy and kindness from what had endured at 2tech auto. They charge less than most places and their minimum is only 55$. Its a nice drive to Gridley 20 minutes if you live in Chico go to to these guys. Very professional worth the drive.
