I've driven by Superior Sharpening Service for a long time now. I've kept it in the back of my mind for when I needed to get our kitchen knives sharpened. Well that day finally came so SCW and I brought over 3 kitchen knives to be sharpened. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who was working on another job. He looked at the knives, told us with a smile "come back in 20 minutes and they'll be ready". Wow. I expected to drop them off and come back in a few days. Such great service. So we did some errands and came back. Our knives ready to go. The owner told us he sharpens anything, chains, knives, shovels....anything you need sharpened he can do. Great to know as I'll bring in more now that I know. The knives....so sharp, restored to the day we got them and maybe even better. They cut so well, effortless and makes chopping veggies such a breeze. We really needed them sharpened it turns out. I've told others about Superior Sharpening Service already and know I'll be back. Dropped off a number of household knives ( kitchen use ) for sharpening . I was late as they were closed but they had a drop box to leave the knives which was convenient since I travelled from Jupiter Fla. I've taken knives, scissors & yard tools to this place several times over the years & each time I thought, "Why didn't I take them sooner?" I even take cheap items here as the item suddenly doesn't cut like a cheap knife/scissors; the sharpness of the blade makes all the difference. i have had my knives sharpened here and this place did an amazing job!!! then today, i had a unrelated issue that didnt even involve knives. but i went there as a last resort. not only did he solve my issue ( it involved a pesky cap to my expensive iron), but he would not even charge me and saved me a couple of hundred dollars. it is unusual to find kind people these days, but i found one for sure thank you again!!!! read more

We have had some Cutco knives for 25 years as well as a pair of high end Japanese Chef knives and took them to Superior Sharpening. WOW! Although Cutco offers free sharpening for life (minor $9 shipping fee), Superior returned these sharper than I have ever experienced (Sorry Cutco). These were so sharp I now approach using these knives with extreme caution. One of the knives cut through a lemon on what felt like only the weight of the knife! Awesome. I'm a fan.... read more

Rob used to good work and prided himself on great turn-around time but the last two visits, I have been greatly disappointed. I brought in knives and shears to be done. They WERE NOT DONE AS PROMISED and were scratched. Someone else quoted me on the phone and when I came to pick them up, I was told a price that was over $12.00 HIGHER!!! Rob, you need to change your clothes and shave as well...you reaked of alcohol and smoke and looked like you slept in the drunk of someones's car! To add to this, my wife has brought her salon business to Rob. I will suggest that she cease to do so. I know that she has paid hundreds of dollars for some of her HAIR-CUTTING SHEARS and I would hate for her or any of her girls to have theirs ruined.
