Mom n Pop at its finest! The tables with the advertisements, the lay out, the table full of Gen X baseball players, the bartenders, the servers, the messy bathroom, it all clicked! The menu was also like going back in time: Philly sandwich, burgers, fish, wings, pasta, dinners, etc was also our claim to fame as a scratch kitchen, and a well oiled machine. It felt the same here. :)) Cold beer, cocktails, wine, chill atmosphere, great service and family atmosphere. Prices were right as well! Heck yessss!!! Thanks for the memories St. Lucie Draft house! On a little food adventure with my 16-year-old nephew who's visiting me, we decided to drive around…read moreHutchinson Island and check out establishments that neither of us had ever been to. Normally, once we cross the bridge, we just head straight down the road toward the beach and find somewhere to park from there. This place is a little closer to the bridge, so it's not somewhere I would normally walk to or randomly stop at. They do have their own parking lot, which is convenient. We were a little confused about where the entrance was at first. We ended up going around the back, where the boats were passing by, walking past a little tiki hut, and then heading up the stairs. Once we got upstairs, it was a fairly small space with a decent-sized bar. It definitely gave me more of a local hangout vibe than a touristy spot, which I actually liked. Our waitress was super nice, and we had a great little corner spot with some really nice views. The menu had a pretty good selection, but we were just looking for a small appetizer to share. We decided on the 10 wings, but couldn't decide which sauce to get. Thankfully, our waitress told us we could split them, so we did half Thai chili and half buffalo. She said they would toss each half in its own sauce, which sounded perfect. Unfortunately, when the wings came out, I could barely tell which ones were supposed to be Thai chili and which were buffalo. It honestly looked like they had run out of sauce and just used whatever tiny amount was left in the container. I have NEVER received wings with so little sauce before! Usually, when you get sauced wings, you can actually see the sauce coating them and maybe even a little bit of it dripping off. These were basically dry with a light glaze of sauce. We both had a side of ranch with our wings, but it just felt like it was overpowering the little sauce that was covered with the wings. I could've said something, but my nephew didn't want to make a big deal about it, so we just ate them. To be fair, the wings themselves were good, but why serve wings with the absolute bare minimum of sauce? Next time, I'd definitely ask for EXTRA sauce and probably get some on the side. I prefer my wings well coated--I want more than a tablespoon of sauce for 10 wings! Overall, I liked the atmosphere, our waitress was great, and the location had some really nice views. The wings just needed WAY more sauce!

We arrived right at sunset, and the view alone was worth the trip--golden skies, boats drifting by, and a relaxed coastal atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The crab cakes were excellent--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. The poppers were just as good, with a great crunch and bold taste. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. Drinks were cold and refreshing, perfect for enjoying while watching the sunset over the water. What really adds to the experience is the live entertainment. On weekends, they have bands playing that bring that laid-back, Florida-chilled atmosphere to life without overwhelming the vibe. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience even better. This is more than just a place to eat--it's a full waterfront dining experience. Great food, great views, live music, and a true Florida feel.
