Understanding there are challenges with installations, the was no communication until the morning of the install other than a call to cancel due to preceded weather. Like most, eating a vacation day is hard to reconcile. If you choose to purchase from Pella, do so and mange the process. They will not.

We had all our windows replaced by Pella except garage windows as well as a picture window in our…read morebasement. We also replaced 3 doors (front door & 2 porch doors) during the process. Our windows look fabulous but our front door not so much. If I was rating windows it would be 4.75 stars (2 windows arrived broken ) but for doors I'd give 1 star. Nicole salesperson 5 stars ! Although , we paid in FULL up front for a slight discount we were told that it would be completed to customer satisfaction. "Don't worry" they stated. Unfortunately , that is not the case? Our front door has a large gap 3/8 inch around the entire perimeter of the door on the inside although the outside appears correct. The door also measures much smaller (several inch difference)than our original solid wood door which seems odd and no one seems to be able to explain why. According to install papers : CHECK SLAB TO FRAME MARGINS - INTERIOR Achieve and maintain a 1⁄8" to 3⁄16" margin, all corners. Again , ours is 3/8 around perimeter. Sadly , the people who can do something (help customer) leave money on the table if they agree with the consumer? They are paid upon job completion so definitely a conflict of interest. Installers are paid at the end of the install . They take photos and submit to Pella for reimbursement. The door rep and installer says that's the way that door is. It's the max space allowed by manufacturer standard. Not sure why customer would want almost a half inch gap around their door but that's what we were told. The several installers 6-8 on install days felt it too was off. They tried adjusting for hours but it just didn't fit properly until a supervisor came and said ; no it's correct Funny , he is the one who measured originally? The install team was professional , hardworking and precise. Immediately , (day of install) we reached out to our salesperson Nicole who was terrific throughout the process of selections. She referred us to Johnathan (manager) who we reached out too as well. He said he would get back to us but sadly did not until I reached out again today. (Several weeks passed and no contact) He too never came to look at our door ? Asking for an amicable solution he had none. He stated the door is cut by machine ? I guess machines don't make errors? He claimed that he has never had anyone mention the gap and his only solution was to move door to one side which would make gap much larger on other side? We asked for a discount or new different door? He said ; no! Anyways , he said nothing can be done. I would definitely look elsewhere for doors. Again , windows seem solid. We cannot in good faith recomend Pella for any doors especially front doors. Please look at photos. The quality and sizing is off and very disappointed to say the least Our front door looks awful from the inside. Buyer beware !

Zen Windows Nashville - The Owners

This project…read morehas finally completed and we are happy with the windows, but the company is very unprofessional and cost me a lot of time due to no/poor communication. Brad refused to respond to direct questions multiple times in email and we had multiple other communication problems including no call / no show on scheduled dates. The windows took over 120 days to arrive after measurements. On day one of the scheduled install the installers (two man team) arrived without the new windows and stated they had no plans to work that day. A "two day install" turned into twelve days in November 2025, although only seven days with installers on-site as the other five days were no call / no shows. The install project stretched from early November 2025 into mid-March 2026 due to an incorrectly sized plus broken window. These last two items were finally installed in mid-March 2026, again with communication and scheduling issues (no call / no show, and then an unscheduled arrival that disrupted personal plans one evening). I understand jobs can take longer than expected or other scheduling conflicts arise but those should be clearly communicated to the customer(s). Instead family plans were disrupted multiple times, work hours were lost, and no apology or explanation were given. The windows are finally complete and look great but the overall headache was not worth the cost.

They also helped me with replacing the tilt latches and replacing the balances which she had to order out of a catalog. Doesn't seem they up charged, either. Probably spent 1/3 the price even if there was a replacement window. Highly recommend!

Short version: My $355 glass replacement turned into an $1800 glass replacement…read more Long version: I am giving a two star review and not a one star review because the two women who work at the front desk were very polite and responsive. The delivery team of two men was also kind and professional however the glass maker was probably one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I called All Star Glass to see what their typical wait time for replacing a piece of glass was and they notified me 24-48 hours. After reading the Google reviews it seemed that this was the norm for them. This was important to me because I dropped the glass off on a Monday and needed it by the latest Thursday because I had a flight out of Nashville at the end of the week. I also didn't want to not have a front window for my living room for the entire week especially when I was not there. No worries however because I was told it would be done Tuesday. After receiving no update on my glass, I called them back and was told it would be done the next day (Wednesday). After again receiving no update on Wednesday, I called again and was told it would be done Thursday. By the time Thursday rolled around I called back and was told it would be done Friday even though I made it clear early in the week that I had a flight to catch. When I called Thursday, the woman at the front desk handed the phone over to the glass maker who immediately started yelling and getting very angry, telling me that NO ONE told me the glass would be done in 24-48 hours (just read the other comments. This seems to be the norm) and that HE told me it would be done Friday (I would have never agreed to this in the first place considering I had a flight and wouldn't be able to get the glass on Friday). The glass maker continuously called me a liar, yelling at me, threatening to hang up and not make the glass, saying that no one told me 24-48 hours despite the fact that I was told MULTIPLE times that this is how long the order would take. I tried being cordial as I shared my frustrations of needing to now change my flight but the glass maker didn't care, continuing to throw personal jabs and calling me a liar, referring me to the worst customer he has ever dealt with. Every time I tried calming him down (because I really did need the glass) he continued throwing personal shots at me. Very unprofessional. $355 for glass and $1500 later for having to change flights at the last second, the glass is installed. I would strongly recommend that the owner of All Star Glass gets a new glass maker as the current one is not well.

I have called now 5 separate times over multiple weeks and sent 3 emails and cannot get a response from anyone at Titan to get our issues addressed or even talk to a person at all. This is totally unacceptable for the massive amount of money we paid for this project.

Do not hire Titan Remodeling or William Leake to do any work at your home! He will take your…read moredeposit and spend it on something other than your project! Search his company and the complaints on the BBB and you will see other people that either have issues that haven't been fixed or people that have a hard time getting their deposit back in a decent amount of time. We hired him to install a screen room because he was recommended by a neighbor and we liked her screen room, but boy do I wish we would have checked his company out anyway. I feel it is my duty to warn people about his business practices because the next time he may do this to someone on a fixed income that even a small deposit amount may hurt them. I also don't want anyone to go through what we are going though and probably having to sue him to get OUR money back. Signed the contract on 11/28/18 and gave Mr. Leake our deposit. Less than a week later on 12/3 Johnny texted me that they had an opening and could install that week. I followed up on 12/4 because I never heard from the installer only to be told they didn't have the materials and it would be 3 weeks. On 12/26 I texted Johnny for a follow up and he told me William said it would be the 2nd or 3rd week in January. On 1/8/19 I texted to follow up again only to be told they were looking for a new manufacturer and could build it out of wood. I told him no and to refund our deposit if they couldn't provide what was quoted. William then called me practically bullying me telling me he has a contract and has until the beginning of February to install. The entire conversation I kept thinking is this really happening? Is the owner of this company really talking to me this way? We waited until 2/4 and I messaged to follow up again as William told me he had until the beginning for Feb. to install. I then received an email stating because of severe weather they were behind and now it would be the end of March or later. William said we could cancel, and he would refund the deposit. We told him to cancel the contract and issue the refund in a timely manner. Two days went by and no response I emailed again to confirm the cancellation only to be told when his men can't work there is no money turning and he couldn't tell me when he would refund OUR money. So, another words he spent our deposit on another job! This is no way to do business. William should have never used our deposit for something other than our project. Now this businessman who on his website says they are "debt free" can't even refund our deposit. If this were my company, I would not have spent someone's deposit the way he did and knowing the customer is upset I would get the deposit back right away. Why is it that he had to have his deposit right away but now we must wait not knowing when or if we will even get OUR money back? Mr. Leake, wouldn't you be upset if you were the customer in this situation? You can't tell me you would be ok not knowing when you would get your money back because the contractor took your money and spent it elsewhere! We have documentation of all the conversations I have had with Johnny and Mr. Leake and Mr. Leake if you think we are unreasonable in wanting OUR money back now then I'm sorry. You took OUR money and can't even tell us when you will pay us back. I know you would be upset if the roles were reversed! ** Update as of 2/20/19 - Our deposit was refunded after we had to file a small claims suit to protect OUR money.
