Cafeteria pizza. I only get it when I'm desperate for fast and cheap delivery. It's pretty bad and oddly ungreasy.

In summary: this is a must miss establishment. We tried this place based on a recommendation. The store itself was filthy. The floor of the kitchen was littered with black crud and cardboard and plastic binding straps . I was intrigued by the large commercial mixers because they obviously make their own dough. The mixer was dirty with caked on dried bits of flour. In the world of today when cleaning is even more important, this place ought to be shut down for their meagre cleaning standards. The pies themselves were populated with fresh veggies, which was great. The pieces of meat tasted bottom tier. And, sadly the dough was vastly undercooked. See photo. Often, pizza doesn't stand up to the real test of how well the leftovers reheat. In my case, I actually thought it reheated well and my day 2 experience was a bit better. Maybe the spices in the sauce bloomed. Maybe it was my own oregano, Italian seasoning and chilli peppers that I added from home that usurped my Day 1 memory with a slight improvement in my culinary experience. I would never go back. Why did we let the kid working tonight talk us in to buying the pizzas that we're selling by the slice, rather than have a freshly baked pizza? We saved a buck or two but the pizza we went home with wasn't good. Cheese pizza and one of the veggie pizza selections. Neither was very good. They probably would've been a lot better fresh from the oven. I liked their selection of veggie pizzas. I think there were four different ones to choose from. Get your pizza fresh. Reluctant review. Normally good. I'm from out of town. Got home, threw it all in fridge. A day later i see wrong salad, including ham I can't eat. I ordered a greek salad. I ordered greek salad dressing. 2 large pizzas, one ok, other had only 3 toppings & bbq sauce instead of regular. Bbq sauce so miniscule it was barely detectable. I tried to let them know & possibly get a discount on next order. Guy on phone says he can't do anything because it's been 2 days. I said i live out of town. I can't just return anytime i like. I wanted to let them know how messed up the order is & not complain online. Here i am. Enjoy. They lost a customer with their attitude. Very disappointed with our 2 pizzas that were delivered past the requested time and greatly lacking in toppings! There was only a few crumbs of ground beef on the Meat Lovers Pizza. On the veggie pizza, there was only a couple of pieces of artichoke and barely any feta cheese. When I went in to let them know, the (quote) 'sort of Manager' had a 'couldn't care less' attitude and only mentioned he wasn't in that day, and thanked me for letting him know! Superior Pizza is indeed superior. The crust is not greasey and the texture is absolutely excellent. Crusty on the outside as well as light and chewy inside around the edge. There was just the perfect well balanced proportion of pizza sauce, cheese and ingredients. The staff I encountered during my phone order and pick up were super nice and the pizza was ready within the quoted time. I will definitely be going back to Superior Pizza. read more

Thanks to my best friends living down the street from this place, I was able to discover Superior Pizza. This pizza spot is James Bay gold. Located in the James Bay Square Plaza, directly next to Thriftys, this pizza hot spot has big waves of business. So, good for them. We came in on a Sunday afternoon wanting slices of pizza and ended up leaving with 2 whole pizzas. We got the All-Canadian and Pesto Chicken. For 2 medium pizzas we paid $28. Not a bad deal at all. The pizza itself was so delicious. The toppings were fresh, the dough was perfectly crispy, and the flavour was on point. I was in pizza heaven. This spot is a grab and go kind of place. While there are a few small tables around to dine, I'd recommend taking it to go and enjoying it at home. I'm sure I'll see you again in the future, Superior! read more

Don't be fooled by the good reviews, this was the worst pizza I've ever eaten! I saw the bad reviews but I thought the good reviews outweighed the bad....the crust was too doughy, the sauce was too thick in places, the meat was like lunch meat (too processed). Arrived in Victoria later in the evening and didn't get to our hotel until after 9pm so decided to order pizza.... we were very impressed with Superior Pizza and the crust was delicious. Our family Just ordered pizza, after learning that our dog may have cancer we felt the need for some comfort food. As local pizza lovers my husband looked up top rated pizza places that we hadn't already tried ~ our pizza took about an hour and a half to get here, and when we opened up the drinks, they had sent diet pops instead of what we had ordered. No big deal. We called back to let them know and to see if they were in the neighbourhood again tonight to possibly exchange them. I was told 'it was unfortunate' but 'what would you like us to do about it?' Then I was told we were out of the range of their delivery area and they wouldn't replace them. No apology and just plain attitude. For us, customer service is EVERYTHING ~ and this was extremely disappointing. Pizza was ok though, but sadly won't be ordering from them again. read more

Best takeout/delivery pizza in Victoria. Perfect balance of generous with toppings, lots of cheese, good service. When I lived in James Bay, I used to go for slices at lunch time - hawaiian are the best. But now I do the occasional delivery downtown. Word of warning, eating too much of it will make you gain weight. I am thinking about starting to ask for thin crust, since the 'bread' part of their pizza is substantial. I'm writing this review, because upon some recommendations I tried Oreganos this weekend. People had told me it was the 'best delivery pizza' in Victoria. Sorry, no way. Check your receipt. I've no idea why they say would say it's $30.60 and charge $36 on the contactless pay device. I went back when I noticed and they were not at all friendly. Basically the guy who overcharged was bounced by another staff member. Very suspicious and the absence of a friendly apology left me wondering whether this happens more often. No sympathy for pizza lovers! Placed an order and was told it would be delivered in 45 minutes. Went to meet the driver at about the 40-minute mark--waited for 20 minutes before calling to check the status (hour total). They said the driver arrived and waited for 25 minutes outside the apartment before leaving. Kind of puzzling. Who waits for 25 minutes? Just an extremely early delivery time as well--which is great, but not helpful if you have no idea they are coming. Anyway, they said my phone didn't work, so it was obviously communication issues. I asked for them to please try and deliver again, but they were blunt in saying "we have no intentions of driving out there again anytime soon". Me with no transportation to pick-up, and no pizza. And them with lost business. My feelings wouldn't have been hurt if it were a sub or salad...some pasta maybe, but this is pizza. Who lets pizza sit for 25 minutes? Who doesn't deliver pizza? Consistently perfect pizza every time. Always ready quick and made fresh. A crust that is so good you look forward to biting your way closer to it. They are heavy handed with fresh toppings and have great selection.
