Disappointed with this superior grocery store I've been coming here for years me and my mom today I went in there with my mother grocery shopping as usual. My mother approached this worker name was ROBERT Hispanic,average height & a bit chunky she was having trouble finding a certain noodle for sopa he looked irritated and flustered like he didn't want to help when he seen me come from around the corner walking towards my mom he quickly changed his attitude just disgusting and absolutely not acceptable. Superior has good deals on produce and many other house staples. They have everything you need house wise for a quick fix. Their store however was a bit low maintained. A good amount of the produce didn't not look good so i had to skip out on that. The floral area is all outside and not under refrigeration. If you are looking for more affordable flowers that are nice and inexpensive on the corner of easton and cactus.The restrooms definitely needed some touching up. Fortunately they have good accesible hours from opening at 7am to closing at 10pm! They are located right next to the gym and mcdonald's. I like to share the worst experiences of my life ,today I bought a couple of things at the superior grocery at the baseline street in Rialto and manager Diego approach and ask to show proof of purchase which I did , and saw at the receipt and back to me to see if I had the items which I did because I am not a thief then , I ask him "do you think I still something?" And he respond ; I actually did think you did . He walk away leaving me talking alone and without apologizing to me for the humiliation he just put me through because , he saw that I didn't still anything and he just walk away leaving me there. I felt so denigrating , it's so disappointing to know that the store that we are loyal to , treat they customer so denigrating and more to know that it was by the manager Diego of the store . In reading through the prior comments, they treat their customers as thief by inspecting each of the items that was rang at the self check out resulting in the customer being double charged on an item. Also treating handicap customers as criminal. Asking to surrender your ID before you can use the electric cart is absurd. As if a handicap customer will be able to steal the cart???? They don't even let you ride the cart to the parking lot. I love Stater Bros because they treat their customers way better and even help you out to your car. read more

This store on the corner of Riverside and Baseline has been our "go to" store for years. My Mother often walked there while I was at work. I visited this store today Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 pm to take some coins my parents had saved to use their "Coinstar" machine which wasn't working. I tried to flag down an employee by saying excuse me twice. She looked right at me and walked by at which I said excuse me again but was completely ignored. I approached another employee who said "I'm sorry but I'm not surprised and that's our f____ing manager." "She is always like that." On her way back once again doesn't stop and rudely says, "I wasn't ignoring you, I was going to go get something but for yelling, I'm not helping you now." This store has been going downhill and now I see why. It's poor leadership, lack of respect and poor customer service. In today's economy and with all that is happening in society, I would expect service organizations like yours to hire, train, retain and recognize industry talent. This store manager is not a leader. This was poor leadership which was visible across the store. This was is clearly harassment and disrespect of customers and bullying employees. I, nor my family will be returning to this store until you retrain or performance manage this manager to at a minimum conduct herself civil and treat customers and employees with respect. Visited this location today and noticed that there were multiple items that were expired... today is August 7 and there was an iced tea that expired on July 24. FIFO is how product is supposed to move and that is practically two weeks expired, I would think that it would have been caught by a worker. My family and I took all the expired products we found to the manger and showered her the expired products, she did not say anything and we continued to tell her how there has been items from the past that we bring home and are expired or soiled... She didn't seem to care, she said if we didn't have the receipt that she can not do anything about it. We were telling them to inform them about expired food not to get a refund. Superior Bakery ... Got a cake for a bday tres leches the worse one yet! Completely dry not a trace of liquid on the bottom. If I wanted a typical cake that's what I would have ordered. Very disappointed, I had to add the leches myself. I didn't feel like going back and complaining as the person at the counter is not a people person, however most other ladies are usually nice. I get my cakes here because there is no good bakery close by. I am never satisfied or happy with there cakes it's always a so- so cake with a bunch of icing and hardly any fruit fillings but this took the toll and I will no longer get my cakes here. How cheap can they be they have gotten worse & worse. other tres leches cakes are on a styrofoam plate that tells you there is no liquid. It's supposed to be soaked not a drizzle of milk. So Cheap! The people who work in the bakery, make the tortillas and checkers are great. They work hard and I believe care about the customers. The older produce guy is worthless. I had to pull him away from conversation with a friend to point out the bags of grapes they were selling had fungus. A lot of fungus we are talking fuzzy grapes. He mumbled something and went back to talking to his friend. I pointed the grapes out to others who will remain unidentified began pulling the bad grapes. The issue with the store it is managed by a fool. I walked in one day and they had mixed floor display of beer and soda by the check stands. I pointed it out to the manager and he could not understand why it is not legal. I replied if you think it is ok why don't you put cigarettes in the candy isle. Shame on Superior grocery. The people work in this store deserve a manager that respects them and their work. The community deserves a store that runs well and does not put spoiled produce out.
