They also sell fresh chicharrones, which are definitely worth taking home. The handmade tortillas are thick, soft, and exactly what you hope for in an authentic Mexican restaurant. They also offer a great variety of aguas frescas, and the green and red salsas disappoint; flavorful with a nice kick of spice. The service was outstanding. The women working there were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and caring. They reminded me of my own aunts, making the entire experience feel warm and familiar. Also, know that the Metro-link passes right by this restaurant and the nutrition shop next door seems to be having some good workout music blasting in the background!
