Finally stop in to see how it was. The place was clean They did not have some of the food ready but they quickly started to work on it. The food, Carne Asada Burrito good but could use more meat. The Torta and tacos all good. The rice was just made fresh a good touch for what time it was most places would just give you what they had on hand also she made fresh Carne for the burrito. Service was really good. Will try the Carnitas next time. read more

I arrived at 8am the time listed as their opening time. they made me wait half an hour and then decided to tell me they were going to open later. they wasted my time and did not have the decency to tell me. I'm angry that they only laugh at my expense. when I asked them why they made me wait for half an hour. sadly, i know i won't make a difference but i wont be coming back. read more

UPDATE: It has been quite sometime since I've been here and we were in the mood for some delicious tacos and carnitas. Fortunately, this place is open until 9:30pm on Fridays and still whipping up some of the best carnitas in town. We opted for carnitas tacos de mano and burrito with carnitas, rice and beans. The food was entirely fresh and the salsa was a bit spicy, but the agua de cebada is perfect to wash it down. For me, it reminds me of chocolate milk, but it is a combination of toasted barley, cinnamon and milk. I am sure there's additional sugar because it is perfectly sweet. Next time you're up for some good tacos, please visit this family owned establishment! ------ If you're looking for handmade tortillas and fresh food, this is your place to be. My personal favorite and go to is the Carnitas as well as Agua de Cebada. My children love this place and constantly ask when we can come back. I love the food here. I always pick carnitas as my choice of protein. The tortas ahogada is delicious. I also love the salsa but it is very spicy if you don't like spicy food then try only a little. I also love that they have a vegetarian option and I always want to try the quesadillas look delicious read more

If I can give a negative I would. Horrible service they run out of food and they don't even have the courtesy to tell you. I placed an order to go the owner said my food would be ready in 10 min, 25 min later I asked what was going on with my food and some lady said they ran out of food. I told them why wouldn't you say anything when I placed my order owner replied well I have people in here that are priority. Will never return!! The owner needs to learn the definition of customer service. Also staff look lost and can't take order correctly. Had to repeat my order 3 times and at the end they didn't even have enough food. What a waste of time. read more

Just had lunch here and overall It was good. Fast service. Good prices. I think the prices is what made be give it an extra star... I got 4 carnitas tacos with rice and beans for $6.50. Not bad at all. The carnitas were really good. You have to hit it with a little salt and lime though to bring out the flavor of the carnitas but overall good quality and taste. TIP: There a place in San Bernardino called Carnitas Michoacan that I think are the best carnitas in all of Inland Empire but El Pareja is the closest to me so I'll definitely be coming back soon. read more

i've eaten here a few times. we Allways order ahead because there is only 3 people on staff most of the time and its usually full during rush hours, so logically it takes a little longer to get the orders out but they do 1 heck of a job they're very friendly and attentive which is a huge plus. The food is great their carnitas ae amazing the al pastor was delicious and their asada is also very good. the red sauce has a kick so if you aren't used to spicy don't pour it all in one taco. this has been our first choice taco spot since I stumbled upon it a year ago and we make it a priority on taco Tuesday and if that fails we have Thursday. i strongly recommend you give them a try be patient trust me its worth the wait read more

CARNITAS EL PAREJAS #2, in East Highland. Went today (12/14) a week after they opened next to the Staters in East Highland. ABSOLUTELY the best Carnitas burrito & Chicharron Burrito I've ever had. The taste is amazing, super tender & the portions are huge! My carnitas burrito was at least a pound of meat & they make it on a line (like Chipotle's) so you get as much of anything you want for $7.99. The tortillas are huge & handmade. Wow! One of the best carnitas spots in the area. I ordered a pound of their "Surtidos" it's a mixture of carnitas, buche and cueritos. The carnitas is really cooked to perfection, crunchy on the outside and really soft and moist in the inside. The buche and cueritos are cooked to perfection. They offer handmade tortillas that are excellent and their salsa pairs well with their food. Customer service is great and I highly recommend this place. read more

This is a little hole in the wall but a jewel for sure!!! Tacos are SO GOOD!!! You can order hand made tortillas for a little extra or regular store bought tortillas for a little cheaper. The sopes are HUGE and so delicious!!!! I also tried the crispy carnitas tacos!!! You at win for a special treat. On Sunday I ordered 7 tortas ahogadas and was told a price. When I went to pick them up they charged me 95.95! When I got back I saw how much they charged me. I called to find out why and two girls, both gave me two different prices on the tortas, and neither price added up to the 95.95. This place is the bomb. I come here because I work near by at Raceway Car wash and every time I'm guaranteed to get fresh, juicy, tender and tasty carnitas by the pound or tacos. Worth every penny.Carnitas Burrito are always a great choice too. I think they even sell beer! read more

I was holding a sales meeting with 12 people in two weeks from all over the country and came it to try it out prior to bringing my people here and I was not disappointed. The place is not fancy inside but the food does all the talking. They don't speak a lot of English inside so you do a lot of pointing, but the carnitas was AWESOME. I brought my team here on Monday and everyone loved their food from carnitas to burritos to tacos and sandwiches everyone raved about it afterwards. If you love fantastic home cooked Mexican food and lots of it, this place is for you. It's a must try when in the area. read more

I pass by this place on my way home from work. I stopped one time and asked for Asada tacos. The meat was so dry. There were very hard pieces that I had to pick out of my mouth. The food was not good at all. Skip this place and don't even bother trying it. The place is also very dirty inside. read more

Pulled up to this spot on a Sunday around 4pm, saw an employee or owner walk out of the restaurant and mess with the main door. Didn't think nothing of it, but when I go to pull the door open it's freaking locked. The gentleman driving a white versa clearly saw me walking up. He could've said something about the restaurant being closed. Yelp hours says they close at 9pm, the sign at the restaurant 8pm. Not to mention they have a B grade with multiple violations. read more

I have been here twice and both time it was good, I have had their Carnitas Burrito and Al Pastor tacos and both were great. Salsa would've saved it, but apparently that's too much to ask. Do yourself a favor and bring your own salsa... or just skip the whole experience.
