The owner requested we send three-quarters of the money upfront to replace the floors before ordering materials. When I asked for an estimate, he stated that I would be charged for it, which seemed unreasonable given the circumstances. The insurance payment included additional work beyond floor replacement. I was uncomfortable sending more money without obtaining a free estimate from other reputable companies. To complicate matters, I recently received a call from Sarah, an employee of Primere Water Damage, who refused to refund the $811 overpayment. It appears that the company is more concerned with collecting money than customer satisfaction. Due to these issues, I plan to report the company to the Better Business Bureau and consult a lawyer for repayment.

My experience with them has been a nightmare, from unprofessional communication to a complete lack of follow-through. Premier Water Damage came to my home in early January. They assured me my insurance would cover everything but the deductible, and they promised to contribute $1,500 toward the deductible, leaving me with only $1,000 out-of-pocket. During the initial consultation, I signed paperwork trusting them, but I was never given a copy of the contracts. This lack of transparency was a major red flag. After the mitigation was completed, I was left waiting for them to move on to reconstruction. After weeks of no communication (with my kitchen still torn apart), I called on 2/13 and spoke with Joe. He informed me that I needed to pay for the mitigation before they would start reconstruction. I was fine with that but received an invoice for $1,110.23, which didn't align with the $1,000 I expected. I contacted my primary contact, Chris, who promised to investigate and get back to me by 2/17. However, I only received automated reminders for the incorrect amount. On 2/18, Chris admitted there was a miscommunication and confirmed I owed $1,073, which I was ready to pay, but I never received an updated invoice or a link to pay. On 3/6, I received a polite voicemail from Joe, but just hours later, before I could return the call, I got a cold voicemail from Sarah Britt, who claimed to be the "head of legal" for Premier Water Damage. (A quick LinkedIn search showed she is co-owner with a master's in education but no legal credentials.) In her voicemail, she threatened to place a lien on my house if I didn't pay by the end of the next day. This felt like a scare tactic, especially given their lack of communication up until then. I called and left voicemails for both Chris and Sarah, but after no response, I escalated the matter by calling the main number and speaking to Joe. He sent another bill for the same amount. Eventually, Joe explained the $1,110.23 total was due to a processing fee for paying by card, but this should have been explained earlier. I paid promptly, but my frustration continued. I asked for a call AND an e-mail from Sarah explaining the situation and confirming no lien would be placed on my property, so I would have a paper trail. Sarah never returned my calls or addressed my concerns beyond a brief e-mail on Friday morning stating they wouldn't place a lien on my property. It's now Tuesday, and there has been no further contact to apologize or schedule reconstruction. I sent an e-mail expressing my frustration, asking for an itemized estimate of reconstruction so I could evaluate the pricing and possibly consider other contractors. Instead of responding, Sarah had Chris email me to say that, due to how I handled the situation, they would no longer bid on the reconstruction job. So, after all of this, Premier Water Damage washed their hands of the project, leaving me with a house still in disarray. The experiences with Premier Water Damage have left me with zero trust in this company. The fact that I was never given copies of the contracts I signed only adds to my concern. I strongly advise anyone considering Premier Water Damage to look elsewhere. I'll be passing this information along to my insurance provider as well. The way they handled my situation was unprofessional and disrespectful, and I cannot recommend them to anyone.

At the time I signed the contract with Southern, I asked how long the repair would take and was told it would be finished within two weeks of getting agreement from the insurance company. Three weeks later nothing had even been submitted to the insurance company. I spoke with a different company at this point that said they could start right away, so I asked Southern to cancel. They did some checking and then promised that they would be able to have a crew out the following Monday and would absolutely be finished by Friday. I did sign a contract with them, so I thought I should give them another chance. Turns out they didn't show up at all that following week. On Wednesday I called and texted them several times to inquire and they never answered or got back to me. At the end of the day that Wednesday, when it was past the point that they could have the job finished when they promised, I texted requesting to cancel. That was two weeks ago and I didn't hear anything from them until today, when I got an invoice for a $1500 cancellation fee. I do not recommend them. If you use them I would strongly suggest that you get timelines in writing ahead of time and have language added to the contract voiding the cancellation fee if they don't meet their commitments.

The owner is total fraud. He indicated on more than one occasion that he would begin the project within days. After numerous attempts to reach him, he would finally return phone calls and text messages maybe two to three weeks later, promising to begin the project, which of course, they never did. This happened on multiple occasions. Still, after all this time and with multiple lame excuses, they still have not completed the project. They also left a roofing project uncompleted after having to tear out siding and replace it with new, but without painting it. It has been a total disaster from the very beginning. RUN from these people. Their word means nothing.

On June 22, 2021, after a consult, I signed a contract with ALL CLEAN and Brian Torres to pack, clean, store, and return contents to home. This work occurred between June 23, 2021 and June 25, 2021. We met with Brian in July to see the contents that he retrieved from the original restoration company. We inquired about missing items and he stated that he did not have them. At the end of July, no structural work had been conducted on the home and no contract for structural work had been furnished. Around July 22nd, I received an email from Mr. Torres stating that an invoice had been sent to my insurance company though no work had been reviewed. The insurance company contacted Mr. Torres and requested to send out the Contents Adjuster. On Aug. 4th, I received an email from the insurance company stating that Mr. Torres was denying the company access and Mr. Torres emailed that he would be placing a lien on our home. After emailing back and forth, he agreed to allow the Contents Adjuster to come on Aug. 11th and 13th. On the 13th that the items that Mr. Torres earlier denied being in possession of were discovered in his place of business. After an email exchange on Aug. 27th, Mr. Torres sent us a notice of intent to lien our home in early September 2021, again though no "labor had been performed or materials furnished were used in the erection, alteration, or repair of a building or structure" had been completed. Mr. Torres declined the insurance payment, refused to return our possessions, and filed a lien on our home. After hiring an attorney and 15 months later, Mr. Torres finally released the items in September 2022. We had to hire a moving company to return the items to our home. Upon receiving the items, the majority of the boxes, including kitchenware boxes, had packets of what appeared to be rodent deterrent. One of the boxes had what appeared to be rodent droppings. Three of the boxes were not ours. The refrigerator, which had been wrapped in saran wrap, had a dead roach in it. Several kitchen boxes had dishes which were covered in soot; one box had soot covered dishes, a packet of tuna, and a jar of peanut butter from when the fire occurred. One container had a dead adult roach, and one box had baby roaches crawling in it.

Our sub floor and island cabinets had to be removed and replaced, due to extensive water damage. I have never worked with a contractor that was early to most visits and truly took a personal interest in our situation. In addition to overseeing that everything was handled correctly by the other vendors, he provided valuable assistance with the claims adjuster and insurance company, ensuring we did not get taken advantage of. When all was said and done, Brian only charged us for the true labor and materials that were used, rather than the total amount that was given to us, based on his estimates. So, we actually had a little money left over after all the work was done. Most contractors would have billed for the entire amount available from the insurance company. The fact that Brian didn't is a greater reflection of how he conducts his business. We would highly recommend All Clean for any contractor needs.
