They immediately got to work building me the deck I dreamed of. I was so impressed with their work that 6 months later I called them again to re-build a deck at the back of my house that was failing. Again, exceptional work. Last week I bought an RV and needed part of my fence moved/re-built so that I could fit my new RV on the pad at the side of my house. They came out the same day I called them and gave me a quote. 2 days later they moved an installed my new fence. I honestly can't say anything negative about this company. A few weeks later the opener fell off the ceiling and crashed onto my car, causing damage that will cost over $4,000 to repair. Despite vague promises on two occasions to pay the cost of the repair, no follow up. Now they take the position that I "accepted" the work and they are not responsible for the damage and will not even refund any of the purchase price. They claim to be bonded and insured, but I checked with the Oregon Construction Contractor's Board for a bond and found no registration for Ben's Garage & Gates. There was a registration for Abraham Bar Lyani, the apparent owner of Ben's, but it was suspended according to CCB because "insurance not on file."
