Right from the start, Kevin's experience and knowledge came into play. Kevin knows how to build the entire driveline so you can have big power, but ride state-to-state too! He's got land speed records, the best dyno gear in the state and knows his stuff. If you're looking for arguably the best builder in this part of the country, Kevin is your guy. My bike has never been better. Thanks, Kevin!

It was about the same price as anywhere else (maybe a few bucks cheaper), but I'd rather support G than some dumb dealership. It's obvious he's deep into the Denver motorcycle culture. I'm happy to suggest this dude to anyone that needs some 2 wheeled help.

He sent pictures of the carb out of the bike alright, but I had to take it back 3 times because it was spilling gas every time I tried to start it. G swore up and down there was nothing wrong with it. Tried starting it earlier this year, and it puked gas all over my garage. So, I took apart myself only to find that the carb wasn't clean-dirty bowls and clogged float vavle, there was no new carb kit as all the seals were old and brittle - and that the gas line was secured with a zip-tie!!!! Super dangerous!! I tried reaching out to G for an response - nothing but crickets! Beware of this outfit!

I contacted John at Moto Fix and gave a rough estimate just for the seal replacement and suggested if I wanted to save on labor cost I could remove the engine from the bike myself and just bring the engine in if I felt comfortable with doing that, which I did. Since the engine had to be completely disassembled I told John to do a "top end" and anything else that needs repairs, just keep me posted. John kept me updated and informed every step of the way. John is very meticulous and I feel he gave my bike the same care as if he was working on his own bike which is why I went to him in the first place because I don't much trust the big bike dealers repair shops. It did take a little time for John to get it done as he had a lot going on and he is basically a one man show but it was well worth the wait. The final cost with all extra work was very reasonable and slightly less than I was expecting

It worked fine all summer (not great, just fine), and we realized towards the end of the season that the belt was slipping. It just hadn't had TLC in years, we think! We got an email about Shawn, and booked immediately. He was prompt in his communication, worked around our schedule, and brought a trailer to pick up our mower right from our house! His turnaround was very fast--we had our mower back in a few days, working beautifully! He installed the new belt, added mulching blades, and tuned everything. A mower that used to take 3 or 4 tries to start (even with a new battery) now starts right up with the turn of a key! We're amazed at how well it's running!! The price was fantastic, too--very affordable. We even gave him a gas hedge trimmer to look at next--another heirloom of the house LOL. HUGE thanks to Shawn, and we love that it's a family business with his kids, too! We'll definitely be back for future small engine needs. :D

My name's Kurt and I'm a lifelong military history enthusiast. I love military vehicles in particular and I had always admired the old sidecar rigs from WW2. One day when I was checking out some for sale ads, I found an old Chinese bike (CJ 750) being sold in Pennysylvania. The CJ is an amost exact copy of a 1940 German BMW R71. I had to have it, so I bought a trailer and headed East. Driving the round trip across country turned out to be the easy part. The hard part was getting someone to take on the job. I found one mechanic, but he wasn't very motivated and even told me (after having my bike for over 6 months) that he was "thinking about thinking about" working on my bike. 100% true story. The one great thing he did for me was giving me Alex's info. Alex took on the job right away, did work that other mechanics scoffed at and did that work perfectly. His skill of working on a motorcycle engine is surpassed only by his professionalism. The bike and sidecar are my absolute pride and joy. It's more fun than I ever thought possible and no way that happens without Alex and AK Cycles. I'll never forget it. Thank you, buddy!

Their service team and techs are top-notch, and the custom work came back looking completely factory-done. Pricing was fair as well. I later consigned a bike through them, and they were quick to get the listing online, kept me updated throughout the process, and handled negotiations professionally. The sales staff was consistently friendly and attentive, and I even ended up finding a bike there for a friend who also had a great experience. Since then, I've gone back for advice on another bike I was considering consigning, and they were generous with their time and knowledge. I wanted to leave this review because I was genuinely surprised their rating wasn't higher when I looked them up again. I've owned quite a few motorcycles over the years and have worked with dealers all across the city. None have been as consistently pleasant and professional to deal with, including their European-brand neighbor. If they have a bike you want, you'll be treated right.
