Many moons ago when gas wasn't so expensive and driving a go-fast car felt economical, I brought my then brand new WRX to Superior Auto Image. The lady up front must've been having a bad day cause I was trying to make small talk but she was just short and snappy with me. I get it. You get customers barking at you all the time but I didn't deserve that treatment. I stuck around anyway because I had so many people from the dealerships, to friends and even a couple tuning shops recommend this place. Glad I stuck around. The car I ended picking up certainly looked completely transformed when I got it back. Makes a world of a difference. All the bubbles they said would go away by the end of the week did just that. The summer sun really helped it along. Listen to the post visit care. i.e. Don't roll down your windows and let the tint cure on its own. Fast forward many years later. When I sold the car, the first thing they commented on was the tint and even said it looked OEM but I had to tell them about my experience. Highly recommended and make your appointment. The installer will carefully go over taking care of the tint as if your car was their's. Thank you so much for a great experience other than the very beginning. haha. Let me start by saying I found this place on here but I don't believe the 5 star reviews for one second. I was told the price prior to starting which was a lot but I was ok with it, under the terms that my vehicle would look Good. I paid $645 for a detail and a couple minor dent removal. There is dust and dirt everywhere. They don't use a clay bar which I wasn't aware of but for that amount they should. They did paint touch ups and it looks like a 2 year old did it. Don't get me wrong it was cleaner then when I brought it in, however it was simply a overpriced detail job. I do not want them touching any of my vehicles again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Amber was SUPER responsive while getting me scheduled and answering my questions, Kevin was super friendly and kind (everyone else on staff was too!), and Jennah absolutely rocked this service. The services I went in for were 1. Headlight restoration and 2. Engine bay cleaning. I'd never gotten either of these services done before, but my Mazdarati is 11 years old now and really needed a pick me up. I honestly never thought her headlights could look as clear or sparkling as when I bought her, but they really do sparkle again. I'm shook! Also, you can probably tell I'd never done the engine bay cleaning either (lol) but somehow Jennah found it under all the dust and craziness and now it looks as good as new! I'm amazed. Top notch quality and service. They are very highly rated for good reason. My only advice would be to for front desk staff to default to wearing a mask. It's uncomfortable when you ask me "do you want me to wear my mask?" I thought it was a statewide mandate. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm making you do something you don't want to do. These guys restored my headlights once and did amazing!! There was a spot/drip on a headlight that had been there for years. I had my headlights restored before and was told that spot was never coming off. These guys got it in 1 try. So, in October 2019, I went through them to get a full detail of my Subaru Impreza Hatchback. First glance, they did amazing and I even used a coupon to deep clean the engine. The reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is a lack of attention to detail. Looking it over before leaving, I found spots on my seats and the girl licked her thimb and tried to wipe the spots off. After I got home, I did a more thorough inspection (photos). I'm sure they would have offered to touch it up if I mentioned it, but it's frustrating when you pay over $300 for a full detail and still need more work done afterwards. Staff is very friendly and they let me use their loaner car to go home and sleep. It was almost out of gas, but I just stopped, filled it up, and gave them the receipt which they reimbursed me for. I would still use them again, but I'd just pay a bit more attention prior to leaving. read more

I called two weeks before I dropped off my minivan and Kevin the owner of the shop answered the phone and gave me a quote. I dropped off van 2 weeks later. They did not disappoint. I am very happy with the tinting job they did and their top notch customer service. There are three things you should know about me: 1. I just bought a new 2020 Subaru in January but I am not the type of person who will put any effort into cleaning it myself. 2. I have 3 year old white German Shepherd who sheds like the world is coming to a catastrophic end (lol part of me thinks this statement won't age very well) and the only thing that can save all living things is an abundance of her hair. 3. I love snacks. I found Superior Auto Image on Google, read some awesome reviews, and decided to give them a try! They had great availability, were easy to schedule with (you have to do this over the phone), and while they discuss preliminary pricing over the phone, they give you a full quote when you arrive to drop your car off. Though I didn't need it because I was within biking distance, they said they had a rental car program for my use if I needed it while they cleaned my car. Awesome perk. I opted for the inside only detail with a side of elbow grease to get the damn dog hair out. I forgot to take before pictures, but just imagine an all black interior with white dog hair, crumbs in excess of what probably looked like a toddler's doing, and some other random debris here and there (I transport a lot of ceramic tile samples). It was... not pretty. I dropped my car off at 9am and biked over to pick it up at 6pm. Very easy process and when they opened up the back cargo door, I was shocked. The car looked brand new. They did an amazing job with an attention to detail I couldn't muster if my entire life depended on it. They shampooed the seats and floor carpets, washed all of the interior surfaces, removed the dust from the cracks and crevices, washed the floor mats, and removed all of the pet hair! I am excited they did such a nice job because I was looking for somewhere I can go a few times a year -- I've found my spot! Came in with a super dirty Jeep, picked it up with zero dog hair left over, interior and exterior were nearly perfect 95% a few details were missed. Back bumper had dirt residue I was able to get some off with just my hand and interior had a bit of dirt in crevasses like door handles. Owner gave tips for painting wheel accessories so that was cool. Over all good service and wash, only a bit over priced $540 for a 4 door Jeep including headliner and engine bay. read more

I'm really disappointed in this place, and I have to advise you: If you have carseats, do not even think about coming here for an interior detail. A friend recommended this shop to me for a pre-Passover interior cleaning. I went to their site and filled out the contact form, mentioning how messy my kids are with the Cheerios and other mess-making snacks. They responded that they could totally take on the job, they had a car I could borrow for the day, and gave me the price quote of $150 for my Prius V, and we booked an appointment for today. I dropped the car off when the shop opened at 9 a.m. I took the guy out to the car, mentioned the need for the car seats to be cleaned, and he assured me everything would be taken care of. He didn't offer me a loaner car, didn't even mention it, said, "So are you going to hang out here, or ...?" and so I realized they didn't have a loaner for me and I left. Zip forward to 5.5 hours later, and they call me to tell me the car is ready. I go and pick it up, and I was really impressed with the first look at the car. They removed quite literally everything from every nook and cranny and glove box and put it all in the trunk. I had unlatched the car seats so they could easily remove them for cleaning, and the car seats were also in the trunk area. I thanked them, paid, and left. Stoked to have a clean car! Then, when I went to put the carseats back in ... crumbs. Everywhere. They didn't even LOOK at the carseats. They didn't vacuum them. They did nothing. The one thing I really needed them to do, and they didn't do it. I was livid. I contacted them, at which point they told me that, "Car seat cleaning does not come with any of our detailing services." Oh really? Why did NO one mention that? Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere. Also, they said, "We should have mentioned that car seat cleaning is not included. For safety reasons we do not typically clean car seats (unless requested) because we do not want to use any chemicals on a child's seat." But I requested it! I DID! I wasn't expecting them to dismantle and shampoo them. But a simple vacuuming? Who doesn't do that? How does that make any sense? Really disappointed. And seeing as it took them 5.5 hours to clean my car, I'm not bringing it back like they suggested so they can vacuum them out. No thank you. I won't recommend this place, nor will I be back. UPDATE: I went to put the mats back down in my car because they told me to wait, and I found a bag of stuff they had to move from the glove box in front of the car in the trunk with a leaking a bottle of Febreeze. It ruined everything in the bag from donation receipts that I need for my taxes to my children's toys and more. This business really has absolutely zero respect for clients. read more

I had a great experience with Kevin at Superior. My almost brand new F-150 was vandalized by some kook in Capitol Hill. They took a rock and basically played tic-tac-toe on the hood. The scratches were pretty deep. I contacted Kevin and had him take a look and he pretty much assured me that the scratches would need repainting. Bummer, $1000 deductible. After a lame estimate from my insurance company, I decided to have Kevin try to wet sand it out. Much better result than either of us expected, but all the scratches could not be sanded out. Kevin was honest and really explained to me what was going on. His estimate was spot on and his timing was almost exact. I will definitely return to have my car detailed and small dents repaired. Had my car interior detailed this past Saturday and I highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly, the interior of my car looks and smells great. Making an appointment was easy and were ready for me when I arrived even with them being busy. I won't say they always have one, but I was lucky they had a loaner car available since my husband was out of town and the work was a half day job. One warning when they give you a price it is "starting at", which they didn't tell me over the phone so they honored the price.They brought up the up charge due to dog hair in the back seat which wasn't horrible.
