Absolute worst service I have ever received. I had an appointment today for 1PM. The technician arrived at 2:25 due to a dead battery. That's fine, things happen. However, on top of being extremely late I was asked to provide the hot water for the interior cleaning. That was my breaking point. I called the office over and over and they screened all of my calls. It was the technician who told me that they weren't answering my calls to handle the problem wit him. I was offered no refund on the $50 deposit. Even when I asked. I simply asked the technician to stop what they were doing and leave my car in the state that it is. I will take my $250 and go elsewhere. This was the most unprofessional and atrocious service I have ever received. Do not EVER book this service. read more

Disappointed would be an understatement to say about the THE WORST car care experience I could have imagined. Initially I spoke directly with the owner, Arjy, to get a quote for my car. After discussing what my main concerns were, shampooing my seats and carpet, we scheduled a time and he quoted me $234.99. When my appointment time came he asked if we could reschedule because of the weather. Of course, out of your control. The morning of my next appointment comes and he asks to schedule out four hours later because they had a different job that morning. A little unprofessional, but I need my car detailed. The techs come out and about 30 minutes in they say they need to reschedule because it had started raining. Again, I understand because we can't control the weather. At my next scheduled time the techs come out an hour and a half late, then ask to go to McDonald's before they start working... They spent about 2 1/2 hours cleaning then I do my typical walk around, but there is dirt and dust in the vents, the inner door cup holders, water marks down the doors. I ask them to clean it and they oblige, however, frustrating that something so basic wasn't done in the first place. I look at my seats and floors and they have not been washed or shampooed in any way. The tech said he wasn't told they were supposed to be. I reached out to Arjy, who asked if we could text about it and later responded that he would reach out to the tech. He and the tech had a VERY loud conversation, cursing outside my house and then the tech gave me the phone and told me to talk to him. Arjy said he would call me on my personal phone. He was not accommodating, made excuse after excuse as to why these things had happened. I was offered for techs to come out to shampoo next week, but that makes no sense considering my car would accumulate dirt in that time. After a rounaround conversation he said the techs would now shampoo my car and Arjy said there were no problems. Definitely do not agree with that. I let him know that that was not acceptable and it had been a terrible service with poor communication and he offered to take $20 off the cost... just about insulting. I'm happy to pay, but I should only pay for the service I contracted you to do. Overall poor and unprofessional communication. Below average cleaning and "detailing." I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Starlight Car Care and both it's owner and contractors. I will not be back and will certainly warn others of my experience in the future. read more

Need to sell my 2013 Elantra and was lucky to find Starlight. Very responsive, very clear services and pricing, and great overall customer service. I had significant (to me) paint and wheel damage and was thrilled when their assessment indicated much of it could be buffed out. But you never know until it's done - one of their top folks came out to my complex and worked on the car for about 8 hours one day, then came back and spent another 4 hours the next due when they ran out of daylight. Tons of hard work but how did it turn out? FANTASTIC, SHOCKINGLY GOOD, OMG! Thrilled that I'll be able to ask pretty close to the top end of KBB's "good" rating for this vehicle, which doubles (or more) my costs to get the detail done. Arjy just finished doing a buff job on my car today and was amazing! The car was filthy from left over snow and someone hit my car in my work buildings parking lot and of course, didn't leave a note (karma anyone?). I swapped a couple of emails with Arjy and was hesitant about all of the 5 star reviews, but they're legit. His pricing is very reasonable and he works really hard. He's very friendly and will ask for photos before if requesting a buff job - which makes sense. We discussed pricing and schedule about 2 weeks out and he was able to fit me in. After a trip to BLM Wyoming, my car was inundated with sand and dirt, saturated with food and sticky beverage residues with scuffs all over the seats and doors from car camping. Not a grain of sand was abandoned by the time my car was delivered. If you've ever detailed your own, I assure you, Arjy has you throwing in the towel with his discipline. Best money I have ever spent on a service that has left me downright pleased. Arjy loves his job; he is consumed by his integrity to guarantee satisfaction from every client. His expectations are rarely met when the work is done by others. I would not be surprised if he spends his nights studiously reading up on innovating his skills, he is indeed a master of his craft. Please support him by giving him your business. If you've ever obsessed over a hobby or profession, you're aware of the dangers of burning out. Scheduling is more variable than realized, I had requested an appointment on Saturday 8 AM and mutually agreed that my vehicle would be picked up between 8:30-9:00 AM. At 9:44, I left Arjy a message about his whereabouts. Arjy returned my call at 9:57, his car battery had died and needed to be replaced. This obviously can't be helped so it would be unfair to criticize his misfortune. However, I would suggest that a more prompt notification be sent to maintain professionalism. The turnaround time to receive my vehicle took longer than suggested, but that's to be expected by someone who is a perfectionist. None of these deterred me from ever becoming a loyal client because Arjy is the type who sees room for improvement and considers solutions. read more

Just picked up our car. WOW. Let me tell you... we just bought our BMW and the guy that owned it didn't take good care of keeping it clean and we absolutely had to get an overhaul clean done. I'm VERY picky with how clean something is and I am Not at all disappointed. He even got the tracks to the seats all cleaned out ( the part that's so hard to get to). It did take a little longer than we expected so do plan on not having your vehicle for the whole day, but you'll be happy with the results. He communicated and was very friendly and professional. We will definitely recommend and use him again. I wish I had before Pictures but imagine dirt in every crevasse and the buttons all sticking because of it. read more

Arjy showed up on time and was easy to communicate with to schedule. He picked up my Jeep and left his car in my parking garage. It took him a little longer than he estimated it would be done by because he was so thorough. It was spotless. Somewhere I have before and after pictures I'll have to find and add to this review, but WOW I was amazed. There were areas of sticky stuff that had spilled I was unable to clean for years. It was all hardened on. And sure enough Arjy got it all. He even found money and an old credit card and I trust him fully with all valuables. Lastly, Arjy is just an awesome person. I walked out of the detail-master feeling great about what they had done. A week later I got a brush-less car wash and found a bunch of scratches on my car where they sanded. I was perplexed. I sent them an email showing them my damage. I got an email back saying they would contact me next week. 3 weeks later one of the guys finally got back to me. I re-explained the situation. He said it sounded like the person who was sanding my car did not properly seal it. He said he would call me back soon so they could schedule a time to come by and look at it. Its been another 3 weeks and I still have not received a call to schedule a time. If they call me back and I get a scheduled time to fix this issue I will gladly take this post down. read more

One word: AMAZING!!!! Ok, I can't stop with one word. Arjy performed a miracle on my minivan. I wish I had taken pre-detail pics because my two young children had wrought havoc on our 4yo van. It literally looked like a tornado (or worse) had gone through it. I've previously gone to detailing shops and basically ended up with fancy car washes, not detailing. Arjy came to our home and spent 7+ hours (no exaggeration) removing every little crumb, stain, spec of dirt, scuff mark, and spill from our van. DetailMaster is a fantastic choice if you want a top of the line detail done to your vehicle. I dropped my car off expecting a job well done based on the reviews I saw on Yelp, but I was extremely surprised by the amount of detail he took on every single crevice of my car. I was absolutely pleased with this service and will definitely do it again. One specific area I was happy about was an old paint spill in the back passenger section of my car. I had no expectations that he'd get this out nor did I ask him to. I got in my car and noticed that this was about 95% clear now. This spill happened 7 or 8 years ago and I've tried to get it out plenty of times in the past with zero success. Needless to say I was very happy with what he did. 0 if I could. I booked the Mobile Detailing over a week ago. The reason I needed mobile is I have no other way to leave the place while the car was gone and needed the convenience. I booked this company as they had the soonest opening (I had already posted by car for sale). Problem #1. Whlie on the website a popup window came up for 25% off. I hit redeem but nothing happened. I still booked the appointment and emailed them regarding this coupon and never got a response. I took the day off of work to be home for the detailing. 30 minutes before our 8AM appointment they call to say their mobile operation isn't actually up and running and they would like to take it to their shop. I ask for the address to make sure it isnt a scam and he says he would be by to pick the car up at 9:00AM. I google the address and it doesnt match the one on their website, not even very close. Also, he says the shop doesnt open until 9:30, which is also different from the website. I text him to confirm the address and he says the one on the website is only their mailing address, their shop is about 5 miles east. So now I am positive I will not be able to help him out and drive my car there. Assuming he is still planning on picking my car up, he then says it will cost $10 to do so because I am out of their area. WHAT? YOU made a mistake and are now charging me (forget about the coupon or even offering a discount)! I remind him that I booked in advance and he could have called me anytime to advise me they didn't actually do mobile detailing and that calling 30 minutes before an appointment isn't the best business practice. He still says I have to pay $10 and that i can still keep my appointment because I booked in advance..well gee thanks. I told him to forget it. Such bad business practice and not accommodating at all. There are many other retailers in the area with high reviews, not worth it to try this one. read more

12/20/2017 I picked up my car today and was totally thrilled! This is the second time that Arjy has worked on my car. And, both were 5 star experiences! In my situation, my car was vandalized with spray paint that covered all of one side and the back of the car! When I dropped my car off, it was in bad shape and I wasn't even sure that it could be restored. When I picked it up, 100% of the damage was corrected! My car was shiny and looked new again! Arjy is probably one of the hardest working people that I've come across! He spent about 4 hours on my car and it looked amazing! He even scrubbed the floor mats and took out a small brush to get all the dust out of my steering wheel and dashboard. His attention to detail was impressive! Wow! I got my 2000 civic detailed and it was a disaster, complete with toddler spills and just built up grime. He did a fantastic job shining it up and getting into all of the crevices and it looked better than when I bought it used back in 2004. He was friendly, professional and did an amazing job. Apart from the sketchy location I had a really good first impression as I left my car for full detailing. Since it's not walkable I asked I'd they could drop the car off the morning after and they said yes that was no problem since I live just 5-10min away by car. The morning after I texted to see when I could expect them since I hadn't heard back and got a 10am. At 10:15 I texted to see where my car was. Ans called and no response. I texted again and still no response at about 10:45 they bothered to pick up the phone and tell me they were waiting for a customer and couldn't come, but they would come later. Ehh I need my car I have a job and errands to run (not to mention it was my birthday and I had plans made to make it a special day after work). Then I got a speech on how it wasn't his fault he had another customer... but if you are running late shouldn't you let me know? I shouldn't have to chase you down, the response I got then was "If you are rude, we will not come with your car" I had enough paid an uber got out there and picked up my car. At this time I had already missed a client meeting of my own. Picking up the car I guess I know why it hadn't been delivered since it was still dripping wet (it was supposed to have been ready the day before initially) At least apart from a few spots on the dash board it was clean and my seats were like new, which is what I wanted. I'm sure they'll respond saying it was me being rude who caused this but, I dont see how not getting notified on when to receive my car way past the time given (that i also had to ask for) is an ok way to do business and then to threaten to just not deliver my car. - ugh Dont use these guys read more

WOW! I am so happy with the service I received from AutoMaster. I had found AutoMaster on yelp, as it was the detail shop with some of the highest rated reviews. At first, I was skeptical, but after reading through them I felt like this was the shop to help me out. I booked my services online and almost immediately realized that I had booked my detail for a day later than I had intended. I reached out to the company online and they were able to reschedule me for the day I wanted at 2pm. On the day of the detail, I received a call from the office about 90 minutes before my appointment. I gave the person on the other end the information of my apartment complex and how to coordinate. 20 minutes before my appointment, my technician, Michael, texted me noting that he would be about 20 minutes late due to an accident on his route, which is understandable. He arrived around 2:30pm, parked his car in my spot in the garage, gave me an estimate that he would return the car to me by 5pm at the latest and took my car back to his shop. 5pm came and went and nothing from Michael. I figured he was still working on it since my car was a disaster and text him at 5:30pm just to make sure everything is okay. He responded with apologies he was behind schedule, he's a perfectionist and there was a really stubborn stain that he was trying to remove. He wanted to know if it would be okay to return my car closer to 8pm to give the stain solution some time to work it's magic. That wasn't a problem for me since I had nowhere to be. When he brought my car back to me, I was amazed! Not only is Michael a perfectionist as he claims, he's a magician! There were some really nasty stains in there that had been there for years, I honestly doubted that anybody could get them out. Michael removed them all! My 2009 Mercury Mariner looked almost brand new again! I am so happy with the service they provided and I hope that I can keep my car looking like this for a long time. Since I'm sure I won't be able to do that, I will definitely be calling Michael at AutoMaster!! read more
