Thanks to the attention and care I got from Mark, a stylist at the West Boylston Street location in Worcester, I just got one of the best haircuts I've ever had! It's really clear that Mark doesn't just know what he's doing, but maybe more importantly enjoys and takes pride in his work, and I feel lucky to have had him as my stylist. I'm embarrassingly ignorant of haircutting terms and the latest trends, but I had a rough idea of what I wanted. (A slightly mohawk-ish hipster cut.) I felt a bit guilty taking up so much time, but Mark never rushed me, listening patiently while I tried to describe what it was I was looking for. When I was done, he then gave me some suggestions and advice on what he thought would suit me and was honest about how he thought it would look on me. He didn't rush the haircut, either. He was careful and took his time, suggesting several ways I could style it to get the look that I was going for. As a teacher and writer I appreciate his attention to detail and thoroughness In my opinion I got one of the best haircuts I've ever had. literally terrible haircut; I started in the chair annoyed and left the chair even more annoyed; he kept trying to joke about giving me a mohawk and hairstyles i didnt want. I didnt want to be rude and leave but the guy could not get a clue after asking me many questions about my life and i just wanted to keep things short and sweet and get out but he kept trying to engage and i really just wanted a quick trim. it took 30 mins before he even cut my hair. He did verify how short I wanted to cut it but the way he cut it made my hair grow back weird around the bangs. He needs to find another profession. read more

Terrible haircut. Although my experience itself was fine there, the haircut was the worst I've ever had. I asked for short hair with lots of layers, something in between a wolf cut and pixie cut. I showed her a picture and said I just wanted it like that. She kept asking me questions along the way which I appreciated, but I just asked for whatever was in the picture because I didn't understand many of her questions. She cut my bangs straight across which I have never seen a hairstylist do. I ended up somehow with something like a bowl cut; I look terrible and feel miserable. I will have to go somewhere else to fix it. Usually I don't get very upset about hair because it can't be fixed, but she ruined it pretty bad. :( read more

I really like this Supercuts. I know some Supercuts locations are very unprofessional but this one Eli's exceptional. I've never had a bad haircut here and it sure beats paying 40 bucks for a trim at another salon. read more

I'm an older guy. Prefer a barbershop, but I've been to a couple in this area, where I reside, and they were just terrible. The barbers did not practice proper hygiene to say the least. I've been to this Supercuts location a couple times now, and they cut my hair, the little that there is, just how I like it. Very nice staff and kind to an old gentleman like myself. read more

I go to Super Cuts myself and I bring my daughter there as well. I recommend going to Candice she is an amazing stylist she will give you advise when you want it and listen to your requests closely. We recently visited to get my daughters hair done for her homecoming dance and she did a phenomenal job. My daughter wanted something simple and elegant and she delivered for sure!!! Was in town for a wedding and my bridal shower. I had to find a hair stylist close by that could assist me in both Saturday and Sunday without breaking the bank. Luckily, this little gem was right down the street from my grandparents house where we were staying. I truly wish I could remember the name of the girls that helped me because they were amazing. This review is based on three visits. The first time I visited, they were doing some sort of wedding party, and due to the staffing there was over an hour wait. I had to leave and go to another place. The second time I came here there was a five minute wait which is completely acceptable, and the haircut turned out great. The third time I tried to get a haircut here the website said they were open at 8:45, but on the door it was posted 9 AM. At 9:05 AM someone poked their head out the window saying they weren't open until 1030 because of some staffing issue. So I had one good haircut here and two failed attempts. Your mileage definitely will vary. read more

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the Supercuts on West Boylston Street in Worcester. When I made the appointment, I was told that they would call me and inform me when I could enter the salon. I should not call myself but rather wait to be contacted again. I arrived well before the appointment and when I had waited outside for 30 minutes past the appointment time, I called and they said "Oh we forgot to call you. Come in now". I entered and sat down. I was asked what kind of cut I wanted. I had had my hair cut many times at Supercuts and always got the same cut. I explained that my hair was all grown out and I wanted the same cut but a lot taken off - at least one inch. The stylist began by cutting only 1/4" and when I said I needed much more cut off, she began to shout at me saying I was rude and hostile. After a very short discussion, the stylist said that she was refusing to cut my hair. She took the cape off and opened the door to the shop and told me to leave. I had to leave in cold weather with wet hair uncut and after having been made to wait outside for more than 30 minutes. Stylist's name was Shannon read more

She has a warm and friendly personality without being too personal, was very professional in her manner and executed a great haircut with real expertise; probably the best cut I've ever received. Had to get a child a haircut on a Sunday , Sunday ? But barber shops are closed on Sunday and Monday . Super Cuts is Open seven days a week ! . Not realizing that an appointment must be made prior to coming in we were not turned away , Kevin was sympathetic to the clients need and got it done. Fast , courteously and professionally . The end result looks great . I recommend Kevin and Super Cuts . I've been at the same barber for decades but I often can't find the time to get a hair cut . The hours that Super Cuts is open are much better . Clean store , air conditioning, music not to loud and nice people . I was pleasantly surprised a chain would be so good . I went in to this location on 9/09 for a bridesmaid updo and couldn't be happier with the results. The process was timely and affordable. I wish I remembered the name of the girl who helped me because she did an amazing job. I went in at 9 am on the dot and my hair lasted all day and night long with no problems. I came here recently to get a simple few inches off my hair, no layers or anything. The girl who did my hair (I don't know name) was very nice and seemed like she knew what she was doing. When she was done it looked fine from the front and even. Then, when I got home I put it up and realized the pieces looked all uneven. I checked the underneath of my hair to realize they were all different lengths when I asked for no layers. I will never come here again because now my hair is all uneven so I have to get it fixed. I have been going here for two years with my two boys to get hair cuts and it's usually great, but today I sat down to get a cut from the girl that cut my hair last month and she didn't ask how I wanted it cut just grabbed a number two clipper and went straight down the middle of my head. My hair was two inches long on top, she ruined my hair, and had to shave it all off. There were notes on her slip from two years ago about that short length, but she never even asked how I wanted my hair cut, she just shaved it off!!! When I told her as soon as she started buzzing away she just said oh well, it will grow back. But now it also exposes a huge scar on my head that the hair was covering.They didn't even offer to compensate for the hair cut, I had to refuse to pay. Awful customer service!!! read more

I've been to Supercuts twice and they messed up on my hair both times. I feel as though they do not know how to work with ethnic hair. My hair is naturally curly but I straighten it often. My hair was really long and almost reached my stomach. I asked for someone to cut my hair 2 1/2 to 3 inches because my ends were very burnt but I still wanted it to be kept long. They cut it a little more then 3 inches so now my hair is almost at my shoulders. So when it's curly my hair is at my chin. And I also asked for them to cut my ends at an angle and they did not do so in the back. So when I put my hair in a pony tail it looks as though a five year old chopped it off in the middle and the sides are way longer. I don't recommend anybody with ethnic curly hair to come here. read more
