The salon was also a great place to have the large number of girls I had in my wedding party. In total, there were 12 of us there. The place fit us quite easily as it is very large. They had no problem with the entourage of girls hanging out in the place, either. They were very welcoming. I would highly recommend this salon for any big event.

Straight,…read moreblunt cut, originally chin level when I lopped off a ponytail for one of those donation sites, it had grown out to my shoulders and because my hair has a lot of natural body and some wave and curl to it, I was getting a very triangular shape. I had no idea what to do with it, other than grow it out again, but I was tired of that cycle, too, since I've done it several times in the past decade. It's also going pretty grey in spots and I'm not sure another 'tail would work for those wig organizations because of that. I needed someone to just make a decision about my hair and cut it. I didn't care what the results were, what the style was, anything at all. I just needed something different. My husband half-jokingly suggested I take his clippers, buy some gel and go for the Annie Lennox look and I was actually OK with that. Christina took on the challenge. She chose a layered look that is both blowdryer and product-optional (YAY!). It's fabulous, super easy to take care of and suits me well! I would have never thought of layers and I'm glad she chose this cut.

I have been a client of hers for the past three-and-a-half years. She is a hardworking, compassionate person who works diligently to satisfy the demands and desires of her clients. Karen is well organized and reserves adequate time to satisfy the needs of her clients. In regards to my hairstyle, I have always been pleased with Karen's work. She has provided me with suggestions of different ways to adjust my style; making changes only when I have been ready. It is important to note that I have liked the changes that Karen has made to my hairstyle throughout the years. In fact when I was looking for inspo looks last night, I realized the best was the photo of the last haircut she gave me a year ago! In which she asked what I wanted, considered how I could best achieve that given my style-at-home habits (nonexistent, btw) and made me feel comfortable and confident deferring to her expert opinion. I also appreciate how she doesn't try to sell me on products. She suggests, but I genuinely believe it comes from a good place - example, I told her I was into all-natural stuff, like my botched coconut oil experiment, and she didn't poo-poo it. I asked her for some guidance on products and she showed me some of the natural lines the salon carries but it was no pressure, she genuinely wanted to help. I swear if I ever get recommended a Japanese hair gloss again for my already fine hair I'm swearing off hair salons forever...luckily I won't have to because Jackie would never do that! Restoring my faith in salons lol Allure is so affordable too...$44 for a wash, cut, and style (*tip your stylist). I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure you can't beat that!
