If I could pick zero stars I would. My son went in to get a haircut and he came out with no hair on his head. When I called to speak with the manager about it, she argued with me on the phone. She insisted that there was more hair on the top of his head than the sides. It was a horrible experience. They took no responsibility whatsoever for the haircut and charge $28. Never again. I live in philly and desperately needed after 3 months of quarantine. This location was a mere 30 minutes away from philadelphia and I was able to easily call and schedule an appointment. The staff did their best with the busyness, including answering the phones, but still managed to get me in and out quickly for $20. Very happy with the cut and highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy haircut spot outside of philadelphia! read more

I walked in after I'd cut my own hair (crookedly). It was my first time in the Marsh Road salon. Maya fixed me right up. She was very skillful and no-nonsense. Listened to what I wanted, then concentrated on the cut and let me doze. My kinda stylist. Very pleased. read more

This review is for the customer service (or lack thereof) and not for the actual haircutting capabilities of any staff. My husband and brother called ahead and made an appointment here. They arrived in time only to be told they should just have a seat as there were 4 people in front of them. They explained that they had appointments, but the response was still that they had to wait in line behind the walk-in traffic. They asked if they could come back at a later time instead of waiting in the shop, but they were told that they needed to stay in the shop and just wait. Not only was the message rude, but the delivery of the message was rude as well. Needless to say, the went to another place--Sport Clips on Wilmington Pike to be exact!! Won't be returning here nor would I recommend this place to anyone. read more

I made an appointment online- what's the point- they took me as a walk-in and I sat down 20 mins late. I just needed my hair washed and friend since I had a minor surgery and can't wash my own hair for several days. The signage says $25 basically for wash/ blow dry / style. I was charge $35, I asked why and it's because my hair is shoulder length. It's exactly the length the lady explained if it's $25 or $35, it's not "long". Additionally I asked how much is an eyebrow wax for just the middle, $10! Every other salon charged $5-7 because it's literally 1/2 a square inch of wax... so $35 + tip to wash my hair? This isn't a high end Rittenhouse salon! And rude stylist - and they were late! read more

This Super Cuts is in the Shoppes at Graylyn, a strip mall accessible from both Marsh Road and Silverside Road. Parking has never been an issue for me here but I've only been to this strip mall on weekday evenings. Also, this Super Cuts usually has a significantly shorter wait time than the other Super Cuts in the Brandywine area. I'm no expert on haircuts because I usually get a #4 all over and they, as well as pretty much every barber shop, can do that well. Service has been good every time I've been there so far. read more

Made an online appointment which showed a 70 minute wait. I arrive a few minutes before the time of my "appointment" and give my name to the stylist and told to wait. I expected a 5-10 minute wait but up waiting for another 30 minutes! I mentioned that I had made an online reservation but was told by the stylist that meant nothing. When I asked why did they offer online reservations the stylist just said she didn't know and it is better just to come in and wait. Not very good customer service Super Cuts! After my unfortunate fiasco w/ the Regis salon @ the concord mall I decided that I would check out a few places before I chose a hair home. I usually opt for a trim every 6 weeks and look for convenice, stylist that you can trust, price and above all else customer service. My first visit went well the woman that trimmed me was really nice and asked me questions about my hair and how I style it. I advised her I was interested in growing out my layers. I was sold on coming back based on the great experience I had here. She took her time and I ended up leaving feeling I had gotten my moneys worth. The second time I came back she wasn't working and I was in a bit of a hair cuts crisis so I just opted for the next available stylist. She wasn't as great as the previous girl. But three times the charm Samaya was back and since then I have visited her every 6 weeks like clock work. Terrible customer service. When I walked in, the staff demanded my phone number. It was not a pleasant greeting. It felt like the haircutter was rushing when cutting my hair. The sides ended up being asymmetrical (something I didn't ask for). I would recommend finding a different place for a haircut. The haircut cut wasn't worth ~$20. read more

Horrible experience- not even a basic greeting "hi how are you doing today"? The stylist had an attitude, I asked if it was possible to do highlights without bleach, she said no. That is fine but it was delivered in a snarky tone in my opinion. I skipped the highlights and just wanted my hair cut. She started to just spray my head with water, I had to ask her for a shampoo first. "That's an upcharge". Ok fine, I rather do that vs her just spraying my head. Water was cold and I barely felt her rub shampoo in my hair, my head isn't glass! Lol - one of the best parts is the mini head massage isn't it? She also thought 2" was 1"; my hair is a little short but I'm not that particular, I'll live. Then when she was done my hair wasn't even combed out or parted cleanly, "what do you think"? I don't know my hair is messy and wet. Do you want me to blow dry that? It's an upcharge hell no, I'll never go back- horrible customer experience. But ps- I still left 15% tip- which isn't much but it would have been doubled if the whole scenario was handled differently. read more

Stylists were rude when I told them that I didn't want to give out my last name and phone number as a walk-in customer for a haircut. I don't know her name, but she works on Friday in the morning 4/25/2014. They used to offer the 12 cuts and get a free one, but I guess returning customers aren't that important to this super cuts. On the hair cut, 1/3 of the haircuts come out crooked. One stylist tried to fix the crooked neck line and took it so high it looked messed up until it grew out. It's a roll of the dice to get a good haircut, I guess you have to know that one good stylist? The hot towels are great! I don't know anyone else who does that. I would pay a little extra for respectful customer service and consistent good hair cuts. I was going there for the convenience...but bad attitudes are unacceptable. read more

I went there because I have natural hair and I wanted to kinda do the big chop/ trim my ends. Robbie the manager cut my hair and at first I was skeptical that he would know how to deal with my hair, after reassuring me that he knew how to work with African American hair I let him do his thing. I wanted an Afro and he was so gentle with my hair and properly combed it. He didn't hurt my head at all unlike other hair stylists when combing out my hair and we had a lot to talk about. He was so delightful and great to even offer me to comeback and have him fix anything after I wash my hair and find any unevenness. He did a wonderful job. If any African American woman wants to get a haircut there I would recommend Robbie because he knows what he's doing. I can't say anything about the other ladies there but Robbie assured me that all the people that work there know how to cut and work with African American hair. I'll definitely go back there anytime I need a haircut it's worth every penny. read more
