Of course they all said yes and I was fooled once more into hoping I'd found someone - but no..I walked out with the infamous penis head shaped haircut. I then started calling and asking what kind of hair THEY had. Enter the first time I spoke to Serpil. She assured me she had experience with thick hair and she also had thick hair. She had an accent and a no nonsense way about her. I liked it. I was a little scared.I booked the appointment. When I met Serpil for the first time, she was just finishing someone up. She acknowledged me and offered me something to drink. I waited about 15 minutes which was a little annoying but I could see she was really paying attention to her client and that's exactly what I wanted her to do with me. She finished with her client and called me up. We spoke a few minutes and then the magic started. 3 hours later, I had the most amazing haircut and color. I was really impressed, finally someone understood long, thick hair. It's been a love, love relationship ever since. Services I've had are eyebrow waxing and shaping..excellent job. They are offering new products and services all the time. It is not a great big spa with a hot tub...its a cozy house. The key here is that they do a great job on the services they offer and stay on top of the new trends. I am accustomed to sometimes waiting a few moments. I've never seen anyone leave there unhappy. The person who wrote the negative review isn't really happy with anything given her 1 star review of 4 out of 5 places. complete mental case.

I was with a hair stylist for almost 20 years that did what she wanted to my hair and it was terrible. When I finally left and came to Taylor, I was very scared and and nervous. She does not rush your appointment or have multiple people going at once. She has the bubbliest personality and always makes me laugh and enjoy getting my hair done. (I also have an important event in a few days, so I was nervous about trying a new stylist.) I've always loved Aveda salons, so I booked with Lisa, a master stylist. Right out of the gate, the entire staff was not only tolerant of my service dog but welcoming. ‍ I typically bring a padded mat for him, but we were crunched for time getting there after work. I didn't mention his mat, but they automatically offered to bring my dog a towel to lay on, which he loved. Lisa asked many clarification questions as to the look I was going for. She let me show her pics and describe my experience with my natural waves and certain products. She told me we would take off the majority of the bangs and then come back after she'd cut the back. Aside from adding subtle layers, I asked her to take off very little length. She listened, which is not ways the case with stylists as we all well know! She then made three passes at my bangs based on not wanting to take off too much. I really appreciated her level of care, empathy, and patience with my service dog and me. I also discussed starting demi coloring with her and asked several questions about products she used to style my fresh cut. I loved how she didn't push products on me like some people do. She was all about making me comfortable Nd happy! Needless to say, she's my new stylist, and I can't recommend her enough!
