As of lately, there's only been one hairstylist working which is clearly causing a backup in appointments. had such a bad experience at Supercut in this particular location. Please save your time and don't go here. Made a 11:40 am appointment with Margret for my son. Waited for over 20 minutes and she kept working on her current customer without helping us. There was another lady who was just sitting. I asked her if she could help as we had to my son's birthday party and we were getting late. She said no she was waiting for another customer. It's been over 30 minutes. Her customer didn't come and Margret is still busy gossiping and slowly working on her current customer without. Very disappointed. Everything went well on my first visit to Supercuts with Kim. Kim is pleasant, talented and delivers superb customer service. While cutting my hair Kim also trimmed my eyebrows (a first for me) and the shampoo followed with a warm cloth nearly put me to sleep. I'm looking forward to my next visit. read more

Honestly if you're look for a select style I wouldn't come here. I wanted to touch up my bob, I double check to make sure that cut could be done. I showed a reference photo. My hair was cut significantly shorter than the photo and it's so uneven and I can't wear my hair down comfortably. It's hair and I know it'll grow but I'm pretty dissatisfied that I'll have to either get it fixed else where or just wear it up till it grows out. read more

Both times we were made to wait while they finished walk-ins even though we were there early. What is the point of making an appointment if we have to wait behind others who had no appointment? Took my daughter here last minute for a haircut since she needed a trim and her bangs cut. I really liked being able to schedule an appointment online. We got there about five minutes before the actual appointment and only waited less than ten. I wish I had gotten the stylists name she was very nice and my daughter liked her. She made the cut look really cute and we had a nice conversation. All around worth the price and the service was well done and prompt. Tried this place twice, bad experience both times. First time I waited, I had an appointment arrived early -- a male walk-in arrived after me, clearly a return customer. (He was not asked his name or appointment time). He was called before me, when I reminded the staff I had an appt, one lady quickly said "His appt is before yours. . ." When he sat down, they both giggled. Appointment today, I was 10 min early. After 20 min, a man came in, friendly waving at staff, they knew his name. Finally an employee called the man, I stood up saying I was before him. The lady said, no because he made his 10:30 appt yesterday. I said but I had a 10:30 appt also and I was on time, he was late. Giggle, he goes first, made his 10:30 appt yesterday. The other woman (working on a man), said one minute, one minute. Ten minutes later, these women were still cutting and giggling with the men. Clearly, I was a low priority. I got up and left. For the first appointment, shame on them. For the second appt, shame on me -- for giving them another chance. Unless you are a good friend who tips well and are male, I would avoid this place -- unless you do not mind waiting. And waiting. And waiting, while friends who stroll in get in first. Worst hair cut I ever had! I forgot my haircutter's name, but it was a Saturday, and she's a Filipina woman. She kept asking me what number clipper was used on my last haircut. I told her that I was never told the number the last haircutter used. So, she said I must be a number 6, and she and a Vietnamese woman both started giggling. Worst hair cut ever! She cut the top too low, so my cowlick keeps sticking up on back top, and at the end she left my hair very wet when she said that she's done, and she didn't even comb my hair. I had to ask her to blow dry my hair I because I didn't want to go out looking and feeling like I just took a shower! Avoid this place, unless you enjoy being treated badly. I cannot recommend this shop since I won't be coming here anymore. Supercut is a chain of shops, so I would avoid all of them. Review #103 - 2018 I ended up coming to this location because I got tired of the new employees at our Orinda Supercuts. At first, it started off ok and then they kept switching hairstylists every so often so I didn't want to play guessing games as to who I'd end up stuck with & there wasn't one that I liked enough to keep going back. Plus, there's usually only 1 or 2 hairstylists at that location so you'd have to wait. I showed up around 1:30'ish on Saturday, April 28th, after calling in to see if they were busy and was told that I could be seen within 15 minutes without an appointment. Yay! Irene greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked me what I wanted done. I just needed to cut about 3-4 inches off to get rid of all of the dead ends, which she definitely did a nice job of. She was very nice and friendly. It took about 30 minutes and I was happily split-ends free and ready to enjoy the rest of my day. I'll definitely be back to this location. read more

Brought my 4-year-old in for a haircut after making an appointment. He was taken promptly and the stylist gave him a good, simple cut. Nothing fancy and it took about 15 minutes including her stepping away several times to speak with walk-ins. My complaint is about the price. I was charged $24 for a children's haircut, when everything posted online have Supercuts kids' prices as $19. I paid it and tipped her, but won't be back. read more

I think they do very well here for a chain hair place. The online check in seems to work pretty well. The times I'vs been here they take the time do your hair right. That last time I was here Ken did a really good job and fixed up some of the shag from my prior haircut from a different place. Friendly staff that knows how to cut.
