She was really on the dot, despite servicing two customers before me, being the only one there, answering phones and responding to drop in customers. She managed her time well. 2. Needed a haircut after a long day of work. Walked in and Marina greeted me right away. I asked for a shampoo and a haircut. Marina suggested the TEA TREE EXPERIENCE. After the shampoo, Marina placed a hot towel ( she called it a barber wrap) on my face and then gave me an amazing scalp massage as part of the treatment. My haircut came out great, the massage and shampoo was very relaxing. I almost fell asleep! Definitely recommend her for the treatment. Very professional too. read more

You'll catch me here every 3-4 weeks. You're able to set up an appointment online or phone or you can do walk-ins. The haircuts are fairly quick, yet effective. The one I usually go to is Ken, really cool and funny guy! Makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. Price varies depending on what you're going to do with your hair. Came here on a whim since I really wanted a haircut but was skeptical however I'm glad my previous barber had no room for an appointment since this place was a breeze. Walked in on a weekend and got my haircut quickly. For the most part I liked the cut, not bad at all and there's AC blasting inside so you won't be sweating. read more

TLDR: DO NOT select ROZANA for your hairstylist. Sometimes I came to this Supercuts location because they have good hairstylists. They will listen to your instructions and generally are polite. However, today I got someone named Rozana and boy, was that a mistake! First, she didn't follow my instructions AT ALL and just cut my hair so short it's as if I am joining the military. The worst part is that the cuts were not consistent, with the hair on the left side longer than the right side, even on the side burn!! Topside is even worse - it's just uneven. She was also very curt compared to the rest of the hairstylists there. Even with all the above, I still tip her and her reaction is.. zero. With all the other hairstylist, they will actually say "Thank you". Not Rozana, she actually just stood there with her hand on the hips, as if I should be thanking her for the haircut. If you're visiting this Supercuts, just choose other hairstylists - NOT ROZANA. read more

For a chain store where there usually is little difference from location to location this one stands apart from the rest. This is due to the lovely staff there. I'm very laid back about my haircuts and as long as I don't leave with something crazy I'm not one to complain. That being said my wife has said that the cuts look very good every time. But as previously mentioned the real reason I'll continue to go is because of the staff. Everyone is super friendly, talkative and they have a real welcoming presence. I know Supercuts might not be for everyone but if it's your cup of tea, than this specific location will be the perfect temperature. read more

Arrived at 5:20 on a Saturday (posted hours show they are open until 7:00). There was one person in the shop waiting to have his hair cut and the stylist working told me he did not have time today to cut my hair. It was a very unwelcoming feeling to walk in and be immediately dismissed. read more

They advertise that you can check in online to save time, which sounded great so I did - who wants to sit at the barber for an hour? The app told me a 20 minute wait and to show up at 10 am. After waiting my respective period, I showed up at 10 am and told them I checked in online. I was shocked when they told me I had to wait 40 minutes and that online check ins may be served before me - what? To be fair, the app says there may be a wait when you come in, but 40 minutes is ridiculous, especially after adhering to the wait period stated in the app. I did not bother to stick around for a haircut after that. read more

What I Got - basic haircut Would I Go Again? The word I would use to describe this Supercuts is "standard." Standard haircut, standard wait, standard price, and standard quality. There was nothing special or unique about Supercuts, but there also wasn't anything that would deter me from going back. My hairstylist was kind but not overly talkative (very important), and I believe I received a haircut that was worth the $20 I paid (e.g., no uneven sideburns, but no hair wash). In my book, there is nothing wrong with a standard haircut, and Supercuts is nothing if not "standard." read more

Amazing haircut with Kim yesterday. The real test for me was being able to style the haircut this morning. I loved how easy it was. It was my first time at a Supercut Salon. I am on a Senior budget now and need to be more thrifty than the expensive Salon I had been going to for more years than I remember. However I still wanted a great hairstyle. So I spent a long time reading reviews and became very nervous about it. Either people loved or hated Supercuts and Great Clips also. Got my kids haircut here today. I told her exactly what I wanted. I told her i wanted 1.5 inches left on top, use a 4 on the sides, and taper the neckline. She left barely 1 in on the top ( and tried to tell me that it was 1.5 inches...i know how to measure, and she left 1 inch), did a 3 on the sides (probably because she went so short on top), and she did haphazardly taper the neckline. Overall, the haircut she gave him was not what i asked for. It was a haircut i could have easily given him at home with some clippers. I went there because i asked for a haircut that required blending beyond my abilities. Apparently the haircut i asked for was beyond her abilities too, because she did what she was capable of, and not what i asked for. She did not follow instructions. And I gave her instructions twice making sure she understood. I'm not happy. My kid isn't happy. And i tipped her anyway because it's a nice thing to do. But not because she did what i asked. Just relocated to SF from NY about 6 months ago and really needed a good cut and style. Everything is just overly expensive in SF and was already near the area and came across on Google. Marina did an absolutely amazing job with my hair. She was super friendly and took the time to give recommendations. I didn't know what I wanted to be done but she really took the time to really perfect my hair. Brought my hair back to life and recommended me great products (there was a great sale too!) I got a $50 haircut (did the Supercuts III package) and walked out looking like I just got a $120 haircut. Never had a better haircut experience than the one I had yesterday. I realize getting your hair cut at a "chain store" like Supercuts can hit or miss... In the case of this specific Supercuts it's a definite a HIT! I've been going to this store for 2+ years and everyone is really good, I mean it, I've never had a bad experience. They're all super nice and professional. Been here twice now. Great cut at a very reasonable price. Ken is who I request personally, but looking at everyone there they seem like a mostly capable group of people! You always get a nice greeting when you walk in and they are fast and usually give you heads up if there is a long wait. Absolutely love this Salon. At first I was hesitant because I came in looking for the former manager named LI and was told they were under new management. I was here once before about 8 months ago and it was dusty and the product shelves looked a mess. Under their new management the store is very well kept . The staff was friendly. Stopped in after traveling through the area. Try to go during non peak times so wait isn't long and got in quickly. Okay, so I've been waiting for this to pop up on Yelp to write a review. Irene. Irene. Irene. She's cut my hair for I think a couple years now. I've followed her from where I first met her at the Pleasant HIll location. Me, I'm just a average guy with an average head of hair that requires no more than a 20$ haircut, but I'm always shaky when it comes to them as, in the past, I've had people do odd things to my hair like 'line me up'. In the front! This is a horrible thing to do to someone who didn't ask for it. I AM an electronic/hip-hop producer but that is for young folks who don't know how to dress themselves yet. And rappers. Yeah - don't do that. Irene is awesomeawesomeawesome. We talk all the time and very casually now, but she was never overly chatty at first, letting me kind of dictate the flow of the conversation. She asked me what I wanted done and I am particular about that since I have some odd slopes to my noggin. As odd and particular as some of these things were to request, she didn't bat an eye and understood immediately. She took her time and didn't rush (the last girl I'd had at the Walnut Creek one did, ruining my life for two weeks). She got it spot on. Thusly, I've been coming back to her ever since with equally great results. I even had her cut my hair for my wedding (the pressure!) and she took extra good care of me. She's very, very nice and I have no personal reason to say that other than I believe in Yelp as a good forum to do exactly this for people who do an exceptional (good or bad) job. Call ahead for her and I suggest that if anyone come to her for a 20$ haircut, she won't give you one. So tip her accordingly, 'cause its worth a lot more. read more

This Supercuts is very clean and the people there are nice and friendly. I am always welcomed with a smile and a warm hello. The best part is you can walk in, call ahead for a time, or check in online with your favorite stylist. Ken is the best stylist I've been to in a long time. He listens, knows what I like and does an amazing job. His work is definitely worth more than the 19 bucks they charge for a haircut. Ken has been cutting my hair now for almost six years. I have been a regular customer at this Super cuts, today I was disappointed, the stylist cut my hair properly but she was in such a hurry they she didn't even care to clean the leftover hair. Needed a cut and needed one bad. Rolled the dice by going into a super cuts. Guess what ? It did the job and I was happy that I did so. The lady who did my hair was super nice. Discussed the cut I wanted. .. no layers and follow the line of my current style. Asked for 1 1/2 inches off. Sprayed my hair slightly and she just starts cutting straight across the bottom. No sections. No checking to make sure the hair was even. lt looks like I handed my sewing scissors to my sister for my haircut! I get that it's Supercuts, but this is just wrong. I have been going to this location for several years.... Today was the last time I will go there... I went in and out my name on the list, one person was before me, I was told 5 minutes. A few minutes later two stylists opened up for the two of us waiting. At that exact moment 4 people walked in that had called prior. I was told they would go before me and now it would be 15-20min. I got up and left and won't go back... It would not have been an inconvenience to take the two people who had been there and have the new people wait 5 minutes longer, but to make a person who was already waiting for 5-10 min wait an additional 15-20 is unacceptable. Okay so I've heard so many awful things about Supercuts, I was really nervous about getting my haircut here. When I walk in I'm greeted by a Hispanic lady, her name was Ramona. She is super sweet and pays very close attention to all your request. She does exactly what you want her to do and does a very good job of it. She says she's been cutting hair for 12 years now! I needed to find a place to get a haircut and everywhere was closing nearby except here so I gave it a try. I didn't think it was a bad cut until I got home and noticed the trim around the ear was really bad and just on one side so the cut became very asymmetric. A few long spots, but that's easy enough to correct. The extra taken off above the ear however is not correctable and was very disappointing. Now I have to wait for it to grow back in and hope nobody notices for awhile. read more
