Expect to wait. Been going here for many years, but we've gone from three to two to now only one stylist on duty most days. Using the "put your name on the list" application will not help--they have no idea when they will get to you, so even if you put your name on the list, you can expect a half-hour wait or more. Just getting out from this place after a root touch up and a haircut. Extremely bad service. Root touch up leaked over on my forehead and the sides, it was horrible. She (Kim) tells me that it will go away if I rub it with hotel towel at home. I made her use color remover solution to clean up because it was so bad. She keeps rubbing it on my skin for a minute on the same spot and still doesn't come up, how does she expect this to come out just with hot towel???? Amateur so called stylist. I was desperate for a haircut and only went here because my bf loves this place for his haircuts and he needed one. So we were in the area and stopped by here. They charge $18 for men and women haircut without the shampooing. This is by far the cheapest haircut I've come across!! So I gave it a try. There were three ladies working. Two Asian and one non asian. The non-asian lady had cut my bf's hair last time and did a horrible job. I end up with her. So in my head I was like great, she's gonna mess up my hair. So she takes me to the chair and asks me what I want. I say take off one inch and long layers all around for more volume. During my haircut, she gets interrupted by phone calls and another customer who's bugging her while she's waiting to get waxed by her. She tells the customer who's waiting for the wax to not leave because she's almost done with my hair. Wait hold up... You just started on my hair for about 2 mins, how the hell are you almost done?! She snips my hair super quickly like she's in a rush and says done. This was five mins total. Hands me the mirror to look at my hair in the back. I respond "done, already?!" And her response.. "What do you expect, a 1 hr haircut?" Uh lady, yes I expect you to take your time on your customers hair without rushing off to cater to another customer while your in the middle of my hair. As a hair stylist, you should be taking your time and doing a great job on your customers. So I was pissed by her response and trust me,I will never be back! Should of known since the majority of their customers were men and children. read more

I've had a bad experience with this place. My hair was cut too short all though I was informed that it wold be cut finger length. My stylist forgot to put the strip of white paper around my neck, causing hair to fall down my shirt. The stylist didn't spray my hair with water, so when she combed and cut it, it was hurting very much. Overall, my haircut was not pleasurable to my likings. read more

In fairness, I take time and consider my reviews carefully; as I always appreciate the serious reviews others present. Sometimes, I will wait for a good while, then write the review, if it is going to be the least bit negative. Today, I rushed back to my home office, to get this news flash to you. I agree with Sean T. and others. In a moment of weakness, I went to this shop, since the person had done a good job on my husband's haircut. I know, men's and women's aesthetic are different. I always go to a salon. Again, it was a moment of weakness. I had hairstyle photos with me that I had been carrying around. So, I shared them with KIM, during my first visit. I should have saved them for the bottom of the birdcage. After a few weeks of dealing with the bulge at the back of my hairline, I decided to return, a second time, with the hope that she could thin the hair so that it would lay more flatly, as seen when straightening the hair with a flatiron. Nope. She could not resist talking over me; and simply was unwilling to take a moment to listen. She continued to recite the conversation from my first appointment; without listening to my questions in the here and now. She flatly refused to allow me to see her cut, while in progress. She kept repeating herself, stating that if I requested her by name, that I should trust her, and not question her. Wow! Scary. I emerged from the chair, with the same hair bulge. A muscle-bound fellow at the front desk, interjected himself, while I was attempting to pay. (Yes, I did pay. I don't want a business to suffer due to someone's incompetency.) He stated that he fully understood the entire matter, after ease-dropping on my conversation. He further stated, that in essence, I had no understanding of the concept of a cowlick. With no success, I attempted to explain that I have had my hair thinned out, when needed, for many years. Still yet, I didn't share with him, that I hold a doctorate; and that yes, I can understand the complexities of a cowlick. Ok. There you go. My mistake. Big lesson for me. Hope you will avoid the misery I experienced, while sitting in a chair, with someone holding sharp scissors, and not listening to a word I said. By the way, my hubby won't be returning. I think I scared him off. Back to the salon. P.S. during my first visit, KIM said, they needed more customers. I now see why! read more

I took my son for a haircut at Supercuts on 3191 Crow Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA today as I have been doing for the past few years. Most of the ladies are good except Sally who was in training and cut my son's ear. She did not tell me anything and was digging for a Band-Aid. I noticed the abnormal behavior and approached my son. She still did not show it to me. I had to find it. It was a very bad experience as she said it was nothing and that my son was fine. The manager gave her support and told me it was nothing. I said that's because he is not your son. I was amazed how irresponsible management and Sally are. None of them apologized as customers are not valued. If I were you, I would not go to a place where human beings are treated badly. Also, the tools are contaminated. read more

I have been going to this store for over four years, and I always have Thuy (pronounced "Twee") cut my hair. She always does a perfect job, exactly the way I want. She knows how I like my hair cut, and she doesn't ever have to ask me. She knows me by name, and she even recognizes my voice on the phone when I call to check if she is there before I come in. She is always professional, polite, friendly, and well-dressed, and she takes pride in her work. Her own hair is always beautiful. I have been going to Dennis for several years. I love the way he colors and cuts my hair. He is very professional, personable and caring. He is very talented as a stylist and Singer's have come into the shop without an appointment and Dennis always tells me how long the wait will be. The wait has never been longer than what Dennis has told me. I have recommended him to 3 of my friends and they are very pleased with Dennis's service. We all have shops closer to our homes but driving to the San Ramon store for Dennis is well worth it. read more
