Everyday driving into town, I pass by Paris Salon. This week I saw that they had a Blow Out Special, $25.00 for a wash and blow-dry. I quickly called Saturday morning expecting them to say that they were booked for the day, as Saturdays are usually very busy in the salon world. The nice girl who picked up the phone said that they had an opening at 9:45 and to come on in. I went in for my appointment which was super easy to find. Park around the back and Paris is up the back stairs to the right. I was greeted by a very cheery blonde girl with beautiful hair named Isabella. She brought me over to her station. The reason why I give it 4 stars and not 5 is that the chairs at the salon are very small. I admit that I have gained a little bit of weight in the past year, falling in love can do that to you, you know. The chairs are very pretty, but only the small can truly fit into them. They look comfortable with big leather arms and I was not comfortable. I was not about to say anything to them at the time for fear of embarrassment, but wanted to let you all know. I just wanted to point out that if you are larger that a size 10, you may find it difficult sitting in the salon chair. Everything else went well, Isabella did a beautiful job on my hair, and even finished off the do with a cute braid in the front. She was great at making conversation, and I was in and out in 30 min. I will return, but maybe after I loose a few. haha

Hair was not styled well. Had to rewash. I don't treat myself to blow outs and I was really looking forward to this. I picked this place based on offerings they listed and positive reviews. :(

We've ordered wigs through other companies that have left us feeling unsatisfied. I came across Danielle on Instagram and being from Norwalk, decided to give her a call. Not only did she answer her phone at 8am on a Sunday, but she was able to get us in the following Tuesday! Walking into her studio is a dream. The wigs displayed are all gorgeous. Danielle has synthetic AND human hair in stock. You can also try on & order different color ways. She let my sister try on as many as she wanted. We ended up loving one off her wall and purchasing. Danielle explained thoroughly how to take care of the wig to get the best use out of it and provided us with shampoo & conditioner. She is now my go-to for anything wig related. I am so thankful we found her. Danielle, you are full of kindness and warmth. THANK YOU for making my sister feel like a million bucks!!!

Danielle ensured that I did not leave with a product that made me feel anything less than natural, confident and comfortable. Working with Danielle not only left me feeling confident and comfortable with respect to my new locks, but she made me feel confident and comfortable as a person dealing with less than ideal circumstances. I felt very understood and very "normal" my whole time with Danielle. It really went a long way that she could appreciate and relate to the experience I was having and all the emotion and feeling that goes along with that. Thank you, Danielle, both for giving me back my natural look, for normalizing my experience, and for all of the insight, experience and expertise you were able to share with me. I would 100% recommend Danielle, she does amazing work and provided me with great comfort and support.
