Scheduled online and I was promptly given service for a wash and trim. Sophia did an excellent job. I have gone back to her several times.

Today was my first-ever visit to this location of Supercuts. The woman who cut my hair did exactly what I asked for, and she was friendly. The only thing that I did not like was her sweater hitting my face when she washed my hair. The other employees also seemed to be friendly, especially in their handling of another customer's crying kid. read more

I needed a bang trim and was driving past so stopped in. I was greeted, had my name taken, and there were a few in front of me. I watched the one women handle 3 hair cuts within minutes - she was super fast and a great tattoo of 'Love' on her arm. The salon was clean, well lit, and lively. I was called and she finished me in minutes. The cost was reasonable. My only criticism is the very small/tight parking lot; be careful when pulling in. read more

I figured after months of me cutting (read that as buzzing) my hair myself I needed a "proper" haircut. I'm not one for being in the barber chair. Maybe because I don't like making idle chitchat with someone that kind of reminds me of that beautician bot on Wall-E. She was fast and did exactly what I asked for as my haircut. I had a minimal wait when I first showed up. From the time I sat down in the chair to the time that I got back up was less than ten minutes. The thing I wasn't a fan of was the price! Maybe with me buzzing off my hair all the time I forgot what the price of a basic haircut or trim was. But $16 for the amount of time put into it seems a little steep to me. Next time I'll do a little research for a barber shop and possibly won't feel so bad paying that much for a haircut. read more

Easy to get an appointment, have had multiple different people cut my hair and all have been good at what they do.

Previously I have gone to this Super Cuts in a pinch when I just needed a style/cut and the stylists did a pretty good job. However, the other day, just couldn't stand my hair and couldn't get into regular place. I explained carefully what I wanted to Kelly, who is also a manager, and she absolutely butcher my hair. Much too short and with no style to it. Thank goodness hair grows! Worst style: cut ever and she rushed through it. No wonder- didn't know the difference between broken ends and new growth at the temple. Gets a second star because was a good hair wash read more

If they are busy stay away. Took about 3 minutes on my buzz cut. No care, get in get out. Uneven cut didn't even check her work. Should just give them money and do it myself with knife and fork .. Horrible customer service. Just looked in the mirror, I was butchered by this hack. Will go to another store to see if someone can fix Edwinascissorless hands' work. OMG !!! read more

holy crap. I just had the only bad experience at a salon in my whole life. 2 of the 3 stylists were pandering to a supremely loud man telling a profanity laden story about his son's custody battle. Literally screaming at the top of his lungs. I couldn't hear myself think. I asked my stylist if he would be done soon because I didn't want to get started and have to sit through his tirade during my cut. She said he'd be done. Then she proceeded to give me the most half assed haircut of my life. It took literally 2 minutes and she asked me if it was ok. I was uneven and not faded what at all; so I asked her to fix it, which she did. Meanwhile dude is screaming to the other two stylists in the background. Literally SCREAMING. This was the most white trash haircut i've ever had. I wasn't expecting this in Fox Chapel. Never going back. Congrats Super Cuts. read more

Terrible haircut. The stylist obviously didn't care and just wanted to finish as quick as possible. I asked for 2 inches on top but she cut it to less than an inch on top. This place sucks read more

This is a good Supercuts so far. My typical challenge at one of these places is finding the same person to cut my hair more than about three or four times before they leave. So far, so good. read more

There is rarely a wait that's longer than 15-20 minutes for walk in - although, I always call ahead. The staff is fast and friendly. I've also taken my young son (and observed other kid customers) and was happy with their approach. Prices are entirely reasonable. Also, they have a fairly sizeable choice of hair products for men and women. This is my go-to haircut place. read more

I went to this place once only because I live very close to it the lady who was already helping someone welcomed me but the woman at the computer rolled her eyes at me. The wait wasn't very long but when she said my name she sighed very loudly at me. I showed her a picture of the hair cut I wanted (just below my shoulder blade) and she cuts it almost to my chin. When she was done my hair was dripping wet so she grabbed her brow dryer for like 2 solid minutes and then put it away. She didn't let me look at my hair she just turned the chair away from the window and pointed to the seat by my bag. My brother was also getting his hair done by thankfully not the same lady. Honestly the price wouldn't matter if she cut it how I wanted. read more

I only wanted 4 inches of haircut from the bottom and my bangs fixed (since I had messed them up myself). I was looking for a new haircutting place. Well, I won't be going back there! 1. It was pricier that what I expected. 2. She cut my hair too fast, not really paying attention since I found quite a few missed long hairs, that I have had no choice but to cut myself! 3. My bangs still don't look right...even though I accidentally messed them up, she should of been able to fix them or tell me she wasn't able to do it. On the plus side... They are friendly and great in conversing with their customers. But, I wont be going back. read more

Lauren, Lauren, Lauren!!!!!! She is fabulous!!! We have been going to see Lauren for years, and has never let us down!!!!! Our family will continue to go to this Supercuts because of her!!!! She has provided cuts for my husband and son. She has also cut and colored my hair and my daughter's. I highly recommend her. Maybe I shouldn't say this, because it may be harder for us to get in, but I'll do it anyway...she is worth the wait!!!!! read more

Cindy from Supercuts Fox Chapel cut my daughters hair today. Charged an extra $10 because her hair was long. $39 vs $29 for a simple haircut. Really? Hair too long?? Isn't that why you get a haircut? Three other individuals that were there were also surprised Cindy charged an extra $10. Clearly, not going back and would strongly recommend against this bait and switch shop. read more

Terrible service, rude staff. I made an appointment for a shampoo and cut. When I arrived five minutes prior to my scheduled time the gruff greeter told me that my appointment didn't matter and I would have to wait behind all of the walk-in customers in the waiting area. This was annoying, but within five minutes the next available stylist checked the waiting list and called my name. We were just getting started and heading for shampoo when the rude desk clerk snarled shrilly and angrily at my stylist "No, he used the online appointment so HE IS LAST", screaming the last part at her and I. My stylist replied that I was first in the computer (it was after my appointment time) and the greeter told her that my appointment didn't matter, and forced her to send me back to the waiting area while she worked on a customer AFTER my name on the list. Her demeanor and tone during this whole nasty experience was inexplicably hateful and openly aggressive. It is the single worst experience I've ever had trying to get a haircut. I looked around the waiting area that now represented an additional 30 minute wait (at least) on top of the half hour I had already waited since checking in. I walked out and went across the street to the Philip Pelusi salon in the Waterworks mall. It was a couple dollars more expensive but I got a fantastic cut, with zero waiting, and with a talented career stylist who took her time with me. Even so, I was still out of there in half an hour, which is how long Supercuts demanded I wait on them after rudely and with unexpected hostility declining to honor my reservation. Avoid this place. read more

I went there today for a men's haircut and was disappointed with the cut. I was not recognized when going in and stood there for a while before being talked to. The manager did my cut and seemed confused on how to proceed. My hair is real easy to cut. Finally decided how to cut it and was way too distracted by the business to do a good job. I even commented on bad reviews I read and she couldn't understand them. Now I was patient with the delays but not a bad haircut! If I had time I would have had her cut it again. On the plus side she was pleasant but not skilled at hair. read more

Vanessa is the best! You sometimes have to wait a few minutes because she does a great job and people like her. But it's worth it. She makes my thin hair look full of body. read more
